    Good value
It was replacing an old broken watch. The dial is easy to read and does exactly what you want it to do. Plus as he has a habit of washing up wearing his watch the waterproof aspect was a bonus

    Good watch for the money
Nice watch if you are on a budget. Easy to adjust time and date feature. Removal of links was also relatively easy as the watch comes quite big out of the box.

    Seems a nice attractive watch.
The date window is quite small, but the time is easy to read, and this is a nice elegant looking watch. It’s been going for a few weeks now and keeps good time. Only comment is the strap is quite fiddly to adjust to size, since a few links had to be removed – but that’s true for any watch with this type of strap. These straps usually last far longer than the faux leather type, though, so it’s a trade-off with longevity vs ease of adjustment. (If any issues later arise I will update this review).

    Nice watch
This watch looks good and is clear to read.
I am quite pleased with it.
    Why only four stars ?
    4 reasons:-
    1) As others have said the hands are not quite lined up correctly. i.e. It is not possible to set it at exactly 12:00 and have the hour and minute and second hands exactly over 12:00.
A little care on assembly is all it would take.
    2) The instructions which have to be down loaded cover other watches as well. It wouldn’t take much to have a separate instruction sheet for every model.
    3) The instructions should give details of battery type, its life and how to replace it. Sending it back for a replacement costs more than the watch!
    4) Removing links from the watch bracelet should also be covered in the instructions. It was easy enough but only thanks to YouTube.

It’s still a good watch but could have been five star.

The watch is as advertised. A quality made Seconda watch.
The watch arrived well packaged from Amazon Prime. It was presented well in a quality box with a plastic window to view the item inside. The watch was mounted on a cushion to protect it in the box and was covered with protective film to protect the watch face and bracelet. A quality item for a very reasonable price.

    Good quality and value
This watch is punching above it’s weight as the saying goes. It has the appearance and feel of luxury at a budget price. Though I have not owned the watch for very long yet it seems to live up to the old Sekonda slogan “beware of expensive imitations;” though meant to be a bit tongue in cheek it’s often true of their watches and seems to be with this one. Timekeeping also, if not the best, more than adequate. Overall happy and would recommend.

    Watch
Bought this for a present and he was delighted with it. For the price this is a beautiful watch, looks expensive. Easy to read. Have a birthday coming up soon so will be buying another one.

    It looks amazing!
The watch looks very nice and i’ve got a few compliments at work, but no one could guess the price, it looks way more expensive than what it really is. The only downside is the strap, it looks cheap but it’s not a big deal.

    meets my need exactly
Fitted my wrist exactly – those with large/muscular wrists might have problems.
Accurate? timing has kept exactly in step with radio ‘six pips’ uncanny!!!!
Waterproof? wore it for swim in fresh water and still going
    Value for money? yes
Safety wrist clasp? ‘double click’ closure is a reassuring feature
Cheap at the price if the battery has a reasonable life

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersElegant watch for a modest price
Got this as a value-for-money stopgap while my Longines is at the Jewellers for repair. I know this is not a Longines so I am reviewing this from the perspective of an affordable every day watch rather than as a comparison to a quality Swiss watch.

    Pros
    Elegant clear watch face
    Affordable price
    Good value for money

    Cons
Steel bracelet looks OK but feels cheaper than the rest of the watch – I have replaced with a different strap
No lume on dial so no glow in the dark to check time at night – omitted to keep costs down
Face scratches easily and I have already dinged it – assume it is mineral glass rather than Sapphire – again this is down to price point

All in all I am happy – just annoyed I have already scratched it but that is my fault.

Good watch but strap is too big
Good solid watch with easy to read dial and a nice appearance. The only problem is that the strap is too big for me even with the maximum adjustment. I took it to Timpsons to have 3 links removed (10) and it’s fine now. Note it’s not easy to remove the links yourself as you need a special tool

    Excellent value.
This is my third Sekonda watch. For the price, excellent value.
It looks smart, and as an every day watch is ideal. The first two lasted for at least 5 or 6 years each, and then it was only the batteries that gave up.
For a watch that comes with a 2 year guarantee, you simply can’t go wrong.
I am very happy with my purchase.

    Very good for the price.
Looks good and has some weight so doesn’t feel cheap. Strap is quite long so will probably need adjusting. This cannot be done using the simple spring pin in the catch so will need links removing. Easy enough if you’ve done it before but otherwise would need the hassle of sending to Sekonda (free) or taking to local jeweller ( not free!)
    Keeping good time so fa

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersGreat value for money
At this price point this is a very nice piece all around. The packaging the watch arrived in was basic (wouldn’t expect more when paying 24.99) but the watch was safe, secure and protected from scratching with plastic sticky tape. My 7 inch wrist meant that I needed to remove 3 links. Do not be put off by some reviews about the link removal being difficult, watch a YouTube video and you will be fine, I was sorted in 15 mins using a thin pointed tool and a small hammer (yes, hammer.. but trust me!). The bracelet itself isn’t fantastic (it is a watch I bought for 25 quid remember!). Although the bracelet looks smart enough it is lightweight and feels cheap but looks fine and is perfectly wearable. I’ve been spoiled as a result of wearing a Rolex on an Oyster bracelet, so an unfair comparison really, but you can always replace with an alternative bracelet and I’d suggest a leather one would look nice. In terms of the case, it’s nice and simple and actually nicely brushed on the lugs and the sides with a polished bezel by contrast. Easily sets time and date with the pull-out crown. I have not tested it in water. It claims 50metres resistance, I’m not overly needing of testing this out but no reason to disbelieve it.

The clasp on the bracelet is deployment. Again, feels quite cheap but once on the wrist looks fine and is not at all stiff. There is also some microadjustment available however you will need a tool to adjust the push-pin on this.

The quartz movement keeps time perfectly well, as you would expect, so no complaints there.

Overall the watch looks more expensive than it actually is. It is also very reliable. At this price point there isn’t really much to think about if you like the look of it in the pictures. Just buy one.

    Cheers!

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersGreat value everyday watch
This is a good quality watch for the price. I purchased as a gift for everyday use and am very pleased. exactly as described.

The strap is going to be a little on the large side for most people I’d imagine so will require adjustment. The watch includes details on how to send it off for adjustment, along with a guide to measuring wrist. But it is fairly easy to do yourself if you have a set of screwdrivers for glasses etc.

Small adjustments can be made simply by adjusting the clasp. I needed to lose two links – so took one from each side of strap. It was just a matter of pushing out the split pins (the arrows on back of strap show direction), removing the link and then pushing pin back in place.
