The lock is overall easy to set up and lock and unlock but chain does not seem to sturdy and probably could be cut open with a bolt cutte
Yet to use this lock but felt a little delicate when settign the password. We will see! Bought an initial lock which didn’t work (couldn’t get it to unlock so impossible to set password) and the company were very good and sent me a new one – even though I was out of the warranty period.
I have been using to lock the bicycle in our apartment building. Easy to use (no need to mess with keys), and seems secure . A bit concerned that the lock is plastic and may be easy to tamper with. But for me it does the job.

bought two of these locks to secure my kids bikes outside our house. bikes are cheap, locks need to tie them against the railing, these will work fine. can set the combination on both so they are the same so either child can undo them and use them. easy to set new combination.
the chains seem sturdy although not sold as secure rated, and they are light enough not to be a burden to carry when the kids are out biking. so they can take them with. all in all i am happy with the quality for the cost. id probably use a higher rated lock for more valuable equipment but this is a great deterrent for my needs.
Since purchasing this wonderfully yellow lock, I have on several occasions simulated locking my bike to something with it and it works fantastically in the world of bike lock simulation. However on this world I can’t really go anywhere that justifies parking my wheels to engage in another activity so based on my simulations I can only assume that it is currently the best lock I own. I may soon simulate bicycle thievery to ensure the lock is in fact secure as it’s intended purpose, but trying to steal my on bike from my own house would probably be regarded as a bit stupid. Great lock though – please buy one today so we can be lock buddies.
