Needed a short Philips head, this was perfect and came with so much more! For a fiver it’s an absolute bargain!

Handy little screwdriver – very useful. Just make sure you don’t misplace the screw heads, stored in the cap. Very good value.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersStanley always make quality products. I mean it is what it says it is and does its job 10/10. Small, lightweight and easy to use. Fits in the draw and when you need to fix something it’ll be reliable. Fittings fit perfectly and you’ll have no issue with this item. If you do, probably use a YouTube video to teach yourself how to use a screwdriver I guess.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI bought this screwdriver and its full-size brother at the same time, and this is clearly the better of the two. It’s both very compact and very comfortable. The ratchet mechanism seems to have a little less back-drag than the larger model, and it has storage for 6 bits in the end caps (6 less than in the big one, but those extra 6 spaces are in a poorly thought-out carousel that makes it hard to access the bits). Overall, I’m very impressed.

Great bit of kit this. Keep this with me all the time at work. Easily fits in my pocket. My only gripe is the compartment in the lid is difficult to get the bits out, unless I’m doing something wrong. My work colleagues have purchased one too as they were always borrowing mine. I also have the bigger version too.

Does its job well although the cap is a little fragile and could do with being firmer in its action.

I bought this for fiddly jobs in confined spaces and in the main it is good. The range of screw heads is fine but it would be a lot better if it came around 1-2 cm shorter. I suppose the alternative is several shorter single blade screwdrivers but this would be prohibitively costly for just the odd job or two.

Ratchet has quite lot of wiggle. It makes this screwdriver useless in tight areas where you don’t have much movement. But you shouldn’t be expecting crazy quality for couple of quid. It’s ok for the price.

I wanted a tool like this to have easily to hand, and this fits the bill. It has several options which make it versatile, but not so many that it clutters up the place. It has been very useful to have in the home.

I bought this during a sale and for a few quid this is a total bargain. Comes with all the standard screwdriver head types for every day house, and is extremely handy to have around the house as it is so small and saves needing to go to the garage and dig around the toolbox! Recommended.

Overall it is very good, quality etc is as expected from Stanley which is a compliment, however it is rather fat and short so it can be difficult to get into small gaps with it. Have used others in the past that were more versatile too in regards to sizes of heads.

A handy, versatile addition to my everyday toolbox. Nice non slip grip & easy to use ratchet ; short enough for those awkward little corners. The only thing I didn’t like was the poor fitting end cap that seems to have only one thread keeping it on. Many a time it unscrewed while I was using the tool, the spare bits spilling out. I put a tiny elastic band on the thread & touch wood it has stayed put since. If I have any further problems I will be tempted to take the bits out & glue the end cap on permanently. This is a minor but annoying flaw: I expect better from a name such as Stanley

I do a lot of DIY and have steadily moved away from having different size screwdrivers to have lots of different bits which attach to different size holders, one advantage being it can be more of a T shape tool (easier leverage) than a screwdriver. The problem with that is it needs more space so I bought this to get into the smaller spaces.

As a tool to fit multiple bits which fits in small spaces it’s great. It’s wide enough to get a grip, not too long, no complaints. However, although the bits are universal 6 sided and fit any other tools it feels slightly loose to me and although it is magnetic the bit has fallen out a couple of times for me.

The other issue is although it’s easy to open the back to reach the bits (perhaps too easy) it’s actually hard work getting the bits out of their holder.

So overall… does the job, good value, and I like the brand but it’s not perfect.

I love this little screwdriver, it’s easy to store so that I don’t have to pull out my toolbox from the cupboard as I have popped it in a drawer for easy access. The bits are stored in the body and accessed from a turn of the cap and the magnetically fix for quick use. The ratchet is left, right or fixed, the screwdriver fits comfortably in the hand and provides plenty of grip. Great little tool.

Versatile screwdriver with a good variety of bits that should cover most DIY jobs around the home. Initially I thought that the base containing the bits seemed very loose when screwed into the body of the screwdriver. However if you apply a little more pressure when screwing in the base, the two tabs will ride over a pair of ridges in the slots and lock the base in place. Hope this helps.

Given that it is a ratchet, it isn’t that small/’stubby’. It seems well made and I haven’t experienced any of the negative aspects reported in some of the reviews (I had to smile reading about the person complaining that they were no sent the removable screwdriver heads). This is the only negative point I have (hence not five stars), it is a bit too easy to inadvertently ‘unlock’ the cap, releasing the storage where the heads are kept. Surely all they need do is design it to screw more tightly, rather than have a minimal space to ‘click’ in.

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersA useful stubby screwdriver and works as advertised. To me, the direction selector seems to work in the opposite way to other, full length ratchet screwdrivers I own by the likes of Snap-on. Also, with less than a dozen uses, the black on yellow Stanley name has almost completely worn off the handle. There is a lot of paranoia on Amazon regarding counterfeit goods, but one has to ask the question. Is this genuine? They can’t all be wrong! One unfortunate feature of this screwdriver is that when used in a counter- clockwise direction, the cap, which is also the bit holder, unscrews itself from the body due to pressure from the palm of your hand and needs to be done up really tight. Despite these small niggles I like the tool and use it more often than the full length ones I own. The bits seem, so far, to be of reasonable quality, but they are consumable items. None of them last forever. For the price, I’m happy.
