Good all-round screwdriver se
I bought this screwdriver set for my daughter who has just bought her first house, which is a big renovation project. She needs to start building up her own tools for her house & this was a good quality, sturdy set of screwdrivers in a good case to get her started.
Just the job
Good range of sizes, good strong handles. Perfect for my use on cars and everything else! Case is very useful too. One doesn’t fit properly but I can live with that.
just what I needed
Bought myself for xmas as all my current screwdrivers were mangled, missing or the wrong type. Ended up using most of them whilst decorating and pleased with them. Look good quality so should get years out of them.
A useful set of drivers supplied in a plastic, wall mountable, storage case.
I used the card sleeve to make a template for the three screws. The case slots over the screw heads and the case is easily removable if required. The drivers do remain clipped in position even with the lid open and mounted vertically.
Seem to be reasonable quality with a comfortable minimum slip handle.
Depends on your viewpoint (a facetious viewpoint)
If you want an ambidextrous screwdriver that can operate both clockwise and anti-clockwise at the flick of a brain-cell then these are for you. Quality is good enough for the money and they should last a while until (as I do) you drop them overboard or the dog runs off and buries them somewhere. If your brain needs one with a little switch on the side to change direction then these are probably not for you 😉
After years of scratching about in drawers and cupboards for a correct screwdriver for the job, I treated myself to this kit. It feels very comfortable in the hand with a good grip to get good purchase. The pieces fit well into the box and they stay in place when being transported. Can’t comment on the longevity of the heads yet, but they appear good quality. Oh, and the job gets done faster without all the searching for the right tool!
I bought this as a Christmas present for my son-in-law and was very pleased with the product, as was he. Hopefully they will give him many years of use. I liked the idea that the carrying case could be attached to the wall as a storage cabinet or as a portable case. The drivers themselves appear to be fairly robust and the Stanley name has always been trustworthy in my experience.
