A good quality and useful product from Stanley FatMax. It’s designed to carry a range of lightweight tools and gives you easy access to them instead of wasting time and effort searching for tools you’ve left lying about on the job. However, in practice, you need to be careful about choosing what tools you put in the belt. I found that if you carry too many tools, the belt gets too heavy to wear which defeats the purpose of buying it.

It has what I need for jobs at home. Enough space to fit lots of tools and materials.
The bags though are sewn to the belt which is good for not letting the bags move but on the other hand I would have preferred it better if I had the option to move them as it suits me.

This is a well made product. Very sturdy and well thought out. I use this every day and am amazed at just how much stuff I can fit inside it. I would recommend it to all.

Bought for my daughter as a bit of a joke as she bought her first home and was embarking on a bit of DIY. She loves it, hold everything close to hand

It holds everything I could need while I’m working my only gripe is that the pouches are fixed in place but for the price of it I can’t complain too much

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersThe belt itself is quite decent: strong material, plenty of practically sized pockets, and an adjustable wasteband. HOWEVER, bearing in mind that men tend to have rather flat bums, this puppy is going to be a nightmare for slowly sliding down your hips as you work, especially when you load it up. An easy work around would be to add separate suspenders to the waist band so you can have the weight pull from your shoulders and therefore not have to be suction type around your hips. Since toolbelts can be very pricey, I think it would be worth getting some cheap suspenders separately because the design of this belt is quite handy and it’s affordable…it just needs a bit of help with staying up. If suspenders aren’t your thing, you can get clips that are designed to hook 2 belts together and attach this to your normal belt, thereby locking it onto your pants via your belt loops. Or you could really cheap out and ziptie the thing to your belt loops while you work, lol. For us this is a very rarely used item as hubby loathes doing house projects, but I do think a lot of men would find it a bit irritating with the sliding factor, so I just wanted to post a heads up about that.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersOK. Price is good. This tool belt looks durable enough (certainly for the use I’ll make of it). Good strong ‘hammer’ loop, spacious pouches. But the belt is – in my view – not up to scratch. It’s thin and it is sewn in – Why? Sometimes, I only need a pouch for hammer and nails and the others would be in the way. Removable pouches would be great. So, I thought I’d butcher it and fit my own belt (the price makes that a possibility) but the 50mm sewn in belt reduce the loops to about 40-45mm.
As we’ve heard so often these days- Come on, man!

I bought it as an advanced DIY guy, so my review should be taken in this context.
This is NOT product durable enough to last daily building site activities.
Then, you have to be very naive to assume that something costing 20% (at most) of proper gear is going to be equally good?
There is enough adjustment for smaller waists (i originally said it was not possible. I was wrong. It is possible. I guess my belt clasp was stuck somehow).
Pictures are misleading. It looks like you could adjust position of pouches but is is NOT possible.
For the money and DIY work it should be good enough.
Any serious pro should spend money on stronger belt with more features (like separate small tool pockets, suspenders loops, cordless loops etc).
As they say, you get what you pay for (getting into my Audi A3)

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersIdeal if you don’t want to spend a lot of money.

Couple of the pouches have double pockets, but you can’t really use the second bit as you can’t get anything in / out of them.

Well made, but the belt needs to be looked at, I had it as tight as it would go, and it was still hanging off me a bit. (I’m a 34″ waist, not all builders are fat you know!!). Additionally, it kept coming loose every day or so, so had to keep re-tightening it.

On the other hand, the belt is so long it would probably fit Andre the giant and still have some spare!!

As a bargain belt it did the job for me, but maybe a little bit more thought into the layout is needed.

I ordered this Saturday afternoon and it was delivered Sunday morning. It is exactly as discribed in the advert and made quality material as you expect from Stanley. The actual belt is made from strong webbing and has a quick release buckle. The he buckle size adjustment is quick and easy. It has all the pockets and straps you will need and enough room on the belt to hang on cordless power drills/screwdrivers (make sure you order the belt clips for your cordless power drills/screwdrivers). The stitching is very strong, as is the metal studs that hold the loop for your hammer. A must buy for DIY enthusiasts.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is my second purchase of the Stanley Tool Apron. (The first was purchased outside of the UK a year ago and this review is of that item.). I am a 31″ waist and I can report that I have not had any issues with sizing. I wear the apron on a daily basis and have it fully loaded with my electrical tools and to date it has performed superbly – no loose stitching and no tears. I have an additional Stanley tool pouch and a Gorilla Hook on the same belt. The only downside is that as the pouches are stitched onto the belt and therefore not removeable, I cannot put the Gorilla Hook on the belt and have had to get imaginative in how to fit it to the belt. The female part of the buckle is also stitched onto the belt so the Gorilla Hook cannot be fitted that side either. A minor detail which reflects the four stars marking. Neither the quality nor the value for money can be faulted, hence this being my second purchase of this apron.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersReally pleased with this product, and with Amazon’s price and speed of delivery. It has more pockets, pouches and tool mounts than you can ever hope to use and seems pretty well made. Hasn’t been used in anger yet, so robustness over time is difficult to predict.

My only gripe, and hence the 4-star rating, is the waist size. I am a UK size 32 waist and even though I’ve shortened the belt to its minimum working length it sits very low on my hips. Once it has weighty tools, nails, screws, etc. on-board I fear it will tend to slip annoyingly low in use. We shall see.
