For the price and if like me you only need to use a spanner now and then for putting together some Chinese article that defies anyone of even Chinese nationality to make out the instructions then this is the tool for you. It is heavy so you won’t loose it but it does the job and the gap opens to two inches so enough to get a grip on most jobs

This is a good tool to a piont. For a branded tool I was disappointed tha the closing jaw mechanism was very loose and seems to be milled a few miles oversized so it wobbled until it closed. Does the job for a DIYer but not a professional

Useful tool. Should have bought one of these years ago. Used this to remove a shower head. It did a great job. The jaws open up nice and wide and it didn’t leave a mark.

It’s compact easy to use in a confined space adjusts to size smoothly, it’s robust enough but I wouldn’t be hitting it with a hammer or swinging too hard on it , a very good budget tool for your box

Bought solely for my BBQ canister. Great price, and jaw size for a reasonably short tool. The bit of play is not a problem for the purpose that I want it for.

When you buy Stanley you know you have invested in quality which will last. The wrench is smooth to use with very little play and fits the hand very nicely. A great purchase.

Bought this as needed a slightly larger wrench for a home plumbing job. Well made, sturdy and easy to use. As with all wrenches, had to keep my thumb on the wheel to stop it self adjusting in use. (This is a bug bear of mine). The rubber grip is comfortable and it did the job I needed it for so yes I recommend this.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersIt feels good in the hand and has a comfortable handle, however the fact that the handle is plastic at the end means i cant use it for leverage for other tools which is a bit upsetting. The adjustable part of the adjustable spanner has quite a bit of play in it but nothing that stops it from functioning. would definitely recommend for the price.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good for the price

Golden Review Award: 15 From Our UsersI write this review based on my decades of experiences as a consumer and user of this type of tool.

I have been actively using Stanley tools for 50 years plus all the way back to “fixing” my first bicycle.

Now I have grown boys and farmed out my old tools (or had them “borrowed” thus the need to renew and replace.

The older spanner’s were plain metal. It gave and still gives a solid grip but these are gentler to my old hands with a moulded covering over the metal handle.

The adjustment for size moves easily under my thumb.

Thus it does everything that it is meant to do. The price is fairly good, better than the high street superstores and in my case includes delivery as I am a prime member. There is no indication as to postal costs for non prime members. I expect these spanner’s will outlast any life I have left.
