stans notubes The #1 Rated Tire Sealant on the Market

The Product that Started a Tubeless Revolution.

Just two ounces of Stan’s in a converted standard tire or tubeless tire can repair punctures up to 1/4″ almost instantly to keep you rolling. Longer-lasting Stan’s Tire Sealant is formulated to stay liquid in tires with even thin casings for up to seven months. Arid conditions require more frequent monitoring of sealant levels, but anti-freezing agents in our special formula allow Stan’s Tire Sealant to be used in temperatures as cold as -20° F. One quart will convert up to 16 tires.

  1. Best Practices and Tips

Stan’s Tubeless Sealant Refresh with Jill Kintner

It’s important to refresh your tyre’s sealant levels periodically. The amount of time between refills will vary with environmental factors including temperatures, humidity, and the type of sealant you’re using. After the long dark winter, sealant can dry up and limit its effectiveness on sealing punctures. To get the very best from sealant it’s important to refresh your sealant after a few months to ensure a flat-free ride this Spring.

  2. Easily convert from tubular to tubeless

Make punctures a thing of the past

Converting your bike to a tubeless tire system is an easy upgrade to just about any bike. In place of your tire’s inner tube, tubeless systems use a liquid sealant to repair punctures nearly instantly as they occur automatically. Without a tube, there are no punctured tubes or “pinch flats,” which occur when a conventional tube-and-tire setup compresses during a hard impact.

Can I use Stan’s Sealant in other brands of tubeless rims?

Yes, our sealant can be used in any tubeless application, including UST. Please follow your rim and tire manufacturer’s guidelines regarding the use of sealant.

How much sealant should I use?

For a XC 29er tire (2.0-2.2”) we recommend 3-4 ounces (89-118ml) of sealant as a starting point. The amount of sealant can be adjusted based on the volume of the tire.

Can I add sealant to my tubes or tubular tires?

Yes, if the tube or tubular has a removable valve core. If there are two opposing flat surfaces just below the top of the valve, you can use our valve tool to unthread the core and sealant can be installed.

How long will the sealant last in my tire?

The sealant should last an average of 2-6 months depending on factors such as: temperatures and humidity in your area, how often you ride, where you store your bike

Effective sealant and great for topping up. Bought this to top up my tyres where it had deflated sat over the winter. Sealed perfectly. Using a syringe to put it through the valve helps

I was sceptical of tubeless for a long time, but the price of innertubes is only going up.
Stans no tubes where recommended to me so thought I’d give it a go. not the cheapest option but seems to work well.
I tried, just for interest what would happen without any tyre sealant, and the air leaks out in a few minutes from 40 psi. Put this stuff in and it was like a miracle.
I think I’ve had one small puncture on the front and maybe lost 3-4psi, but its sealed itself.
rear has held pressure for a couple of weeks and 100 miles of cycling.

Been using this over a year now on 3 bikes, and got through just over a litre with changes and top ups.

    – Seals pretty quickly, especially if you notice the puncture and
point it down to pool the sealant around the hole in the tyre.

    – Does give you a rather sticky leg unfortunately, so try and get it off before it sets!

    – Only negative really is the price, as it does seem a bit steep, however if you can get for under standard price of 25 for the big bottle it’s not horrific.

Great stuff fixes punctures within seconds but you have to be careful and keep checking how much fluid is in tyres as I found out when the tyre went dry wouldn’t inflate

After hitting the MTB trails hard and puncturing numerous inner tubes, I decided to go tubeless, best decision I’ve made when it comes to trail riding.
Allows lower air pressure for more stability, best of all not had a single puncture since I used this stuff.
I fitted tyres then injected the fluid through the valves, filled with air and rotated the wheels for a few minutes and job done! Excellent product, great price, works out so much cheaper and easier than inner tubes. 100% recommend.

Always the sealent i go to.

Easy to use either directly into the tyre or via the valve , helps seal up tubless set ups and always there waiting to seal up a puncture when your out on the trail.

Ive tried the others but keep coming back to Stans

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI have had issues with pressure since using the sealant, keep having to repump my tyres up. Never had a problem with my old sealant so will not be using again.

I always buy this product for my mountain bike tyres and it has served me well. I would recommend also buying the tool that enables you to put the liquid in through the valve without breaking the seal of the tyre and wheel. I tend to top up once a year which is less than recommended, but it works for me and I do a fair bit of mileage with lots of blackthorn.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI cannot remember how many bottles I bought from Amazon as I keep upgrading my MTB’s into Tubeless. I tried and tested other sealant but they do not heal tyre puncture as quick and as accurate as Stan’s No Tube. I will tell you now most sealants in the market either ineffective or heals super slowly. I will guarantee this is the only sealant that works as should be. tested and proven and this heals leaky MTB nipples as well I put 200mls front and rear not bothered about the weight.

This will last a while while only using 60mls & if you use the Stans no tubes injector it has the measurement on it so it gives the right amount of less if you want from 10mls to 60mls. Not used it for 6months yet only a month but the way it works I’m sure this could last for quite a few times filling tubeless tyres with it. You probably can top it up every few months like 10mls every 4/6 months or like I have seen on video you just take tyre off 1 side use kitchen towel to wipe clean the old sealant the put tyre back on use injector to put it though the valve so easy. Just make sure injector screwed on otherwise sealant all over floor not done it myself but a friend did it. Least with this you know if have puncture because can see the sealant working hasn’t seals the hole. Not having to stop remove tyre to repair saves a lot of time & trouble it on the road and nowhere to pull over. Enjoy cycling without worry of puncture of tyres.

Used it to repair 2 footballs that kept going flat, one of them very quickly. I purchased some non medical syringes to get liquid inside the balls. I used about 5-10 ml in each ball and just swirled around. Then fully inflated the ball. This has already paid for itself.

I poured around 120 ml to my rear nearside tire which I need to pump air every other day and solved the problem for 3 weeks now the tire pressure has not gone down.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis was my first time shopping in the tubless sealant market and this seemed to be one of leading ones everyone was buying. Very easy to use with my peaty’s tubless valves and haven’t let me down yet.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWorks a treat for tubeless ready tyres and rims. Had to get a couple of valves and I used an injection kit as it’s just easier. But so far no punctures, tyres roll faster and I’m loving my mountain biking with it.

Golden Review Award: 18 From Our UsersBought to repair some footballs that wouldn’t stay pumped up due to small thorn holes. Injected 6 ml into 5 footballs and all have stayed hard for 7 days so far. Excellent use use for footballs that would have just been binned otherwise.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersPerfect for mountain bike tyres, seals up all manner of punctures and would recommend for anyone wanted to work with it.

It lasts for about 6 months I would say before I replace it, which makes it far cheaper than inner tubes on a total cost and to certainly a massive time saver.

Not sure how it works for Roadies as I’ve seen some people it won’t cope with insane pressures or go in an inner tube – which it never should and if you are trying to, you’ve kind of missed the point of tubeless.

Convert to tubeless, shove this in and your life will be almost complete apart from all the other things you are yet to do

Remember to shake a lot, and don’t leave it unused in the garage
