I bought this after my car was stolen (& recovered) by scumbags who broke the ignition (Japanese import so no immobiliser). This was the top-rated steering lock on a number of websites. It’s easy enough to put on, and when the steering is locked to the right it’s impossible to turn it far before the bar hits against the doorframe.
It’s probably considered a bug by many but in my opinion is a feature: this sits on top of the horn so often I accidentally beep the horn when putting it on or taking it off. Between the visibility of this device and the difficulty of taking it off silently I’m hoping that the touring scumbags will go elsewhere next time.
Didn’t realise the weight of this thing. My hubby will use it when we are out and about but not for me. Just fits our Skoda kamiq. Only one position though as it sets the horn off in the middle of steering wheel. Plus the seat has to be set for my hubby right back. For me it would not fit due to my driving position. Palaver for me to keep altering seat. In the kamiq there is no bottom strut on steering wheel just two at ten past and ten to position so can slide about. Hence setting horn off. Suppose ok to stop someone pinching the car.
Very strong, but as a result, very, very heavy, so often difficult to place carefully. It would be very easy to snap off the cars other stalks, indicators, wipers etc., (and very costly) if you are not very careful. One irritating feature is that it not only needs to be unlocked to put in place, but also re-locked once it is in place. The previous model simply clicked into place without the need of a key but this model needs to be locked, a major draw back, making it much more awkward to install. But certainly heavy duty, strong, and a very visible deterrent.
Despite getting a banner warning that this (Stoplock Pro Elite) would not fit my Mazda CX-5, it actually fits perfectly well. It’s listed as Recommended in the Stoplock documentation. Easy to fit and remove. The only question is where to put it when not in use as it is quite big and heavy.
An effective tool to send the thieves elsewhere, I’m sure. The bright yellow colour makes it stand out. It’s simple to fit and remove, feel solid and substantial and should be enough to deter all but the most determined of thieves.

The Stocklock Pro fitted my Land Rover Discovery (68 plate) perfectly/snug.
It also stores very easily behind the 2nd row seats (in the 3rd row seat footwell), that way not loose in the boot area.
Fitting is straight forward and quickly, just turn the steering wheel 15 deg to the left.
My only negative would be it didn’t come with a material sleeve to store in.
Excellent product which is incredibly easy to use and great value compared to other wheel locks. Bought for my VW T6.1 campervan having looked at the company’s online suitability. Very visible deterrent which hopefully will work!
My partner has used an earlier version of Stoplock for years. Having recently purchased a van I decided a similar device would be a good idea. This current Elite version is excellent. Fits securely over the steering wheel of my Mercedes Citan, which has a steering wheel cover, nicely. Very well constructed, with a secure locking mechanism, and easy to fit and remove. The storage bag is a nice touch.
Bought for ford focus -info said it was suitable for my car. good strong looking item,hopefully helps deter car thief’s only problem is its quite a length & can’t position it facing downwards as the long bar is too long & can’t get legs in & out of the car. I’m having to face the long bar upwards but problem is I have to turn steering wheel slightly to the left so it points upward at an angle.if it was just straight up it hits the windscreen .Also by leaning it to the left it then sometimes can press down on the indicator switch causing lights to stay on. when noone in the back of car can place it n the back seat or rear floor area ,but when you have a car full it’s awkward where to put it (only just partly slides under drivers seat. not an ideal fit but got used to i
