Q) After some research about how to fix a hole in a seam on my lazy spa I have reached yourself. What adhesive would you recommend for this? The spa normally sits around 37 Celsius and the seam is where the air bubbles (jets) come out.

A) Stormsure glue is a polyurethane glue, meaning it has rubbery like qualities when cured. It is extremely strong, durable and flexible which makes it perfect for this kind of repair. What you are doing in your case is putting a protective layer over the seam. The glue will also seep into any holes in the seam filling the gaps. The glue is waterproof when cured and can handle heats up to 90 degrees Celsius.

Simply apply the glue with a spatula or paint brush over and along the seam. Also covering approx 1cm either side of the seam to give extra coverage.

The thickness of the layer of glue will very much depend on the size of the holes you want to repair.

Make sure the areas and seams are clean and dry before application. Lie flat whilst the glue cures.

Sealed the holes and held! Only down side is the cure time

Our hot tub had multiple holes from cat nails and I’ve managed to fix them all using this set. Very easy to use and dries pretty quick.

Really good value for money, saved a fortune ! So much more expensive in the ‘big shops’ but it does the job perfectly !

I have to be honest; pleasantly surprised at this adhesive as I was fixing my 150 camping sofa (valve failure) and my Kayak (like an idiot I hung it over a Barbed wire fence) the sofa stays up and whilst I’m writing this I have been out in my Kayak and not drowned! I will happily recommend this product.

Used this for a repair in the bottom corner edge of my hot tub. It’s on a bend, and where the bottom meets the upper inflated section.
Followed all the advice and cleaned the area thoroughly,, then applied the glue and left it all horizontal overnight with a weighted pressure on top.
My hopes weren’t high for success after attempting the repair with other types of glue, but it worked perfectly.
    Highly recommended

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersBought this as a last resort to repair the exterior seam of the sidewall which had come unstuck leaving a gap of about 10cm. Despite not being horizontal when I applied it the adhesive went on easily using the applicator and was mailable enough to use on the gap in the seam in one go. Worked first time and shows no sign of failing . Definitely recommend this product.

Thought it may take a few efforts to get the hole sealed but this kit did an awesome job. One attempt and my problem was solved!

Worked quickly on my Lay Z Spa, small leak. Glue probably would have fixed it but used one of the stickers as well. Bought other patches before and this is by far the bes

Repaired the hot tub air leak using this glue and a patch of the same material as the hot tub leave it for at least 12 hours with a weight on it or a clamp to keep it flat etc and it will work fine.

Repaired my lazyspa Vegas which had a small claw puncture from a cat trying to have a warm sleep. A little glue and a large circular patch fully plugged hole.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersWasn’t sure if it would work, but was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to use, and it has fixed a small tear in the top of my hot tub. I used the glue straight onto the tear then cut off a small square from the transparent patches that come with it and put that on top for a little extra protection. I left it to cure overnight then blew up the tub the next afternoon. This has saved me buying another tub at a cost of nearly 1000. You can’t even see where the patch is, and my tub is now back in full use and fully inflated. Thanks for a great product. I would recommend this as a go to product for all and any repairs.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersA bit awkward to get the repair to stick down initially as it kept lifting. Once I had it weighted down and left it for 12hrs or so, the repair was solid and water tight. I recommend this product.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI dont really write reviews, due to my sheer lazyness. However this deserves a glowing review.
It has to date fixed 2 holes in my layzspa paris. The first hole was in the top of the inner just a small thorn like hole but after applying the flexible adhesive and a patch I left it for a good 24 hours or more with a plastic weight on top. Came back re inflated a the job was a goodun.

The second hole repair was more impressive. Water was leaking out of a largish tear in the bottom of the hot tub. I must admit I thought it was the end of its life. However the flexible adhesive and patch have worked an absolute treat. Unsure of the longevity of the product only time will tell.
