Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury (Nintendo Switch)
Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury (Nintendo Switch)
Power up as Giga Cat Mario in the new Bowser’s Fury adventure
When Bowser is in full Fury, he can be pretty scary. Luckily, Mario can match his might with the Giga Bell, which lets him transform into the mighty Giga Cat Mario and go toe-to-toe with the monstrous Bowser in a titanic battle of biggies.

Bought this as a gift for my brother who has autism. Repetitive, challenging and engaging. He loves this game a lot, keeps him occupied for long periods of time. Highly recommend
Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury for the Nintendo Switch is an absolute delight. The classic Super Mario 3D World offers hours of nostalgic gameplay with its inventive levels and charming characters. But it’s Bowser’s Fury that steals the show, introducing a thrilling open-world adventure that’s both exhilarating and immersive. With its stunning visuals, engaging gameplay, and multiplayer fun, this game is a must-have for any Switch owner. Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury is a masterpiece that brings joy to players of all ages.
3d world 4 player coop is great. Bowser fury open world is amazing and somewhat hard for a mario game. Nice as mario games are usually to easy. It’s a shame the Bowser fury mode is not longer though. Worth it on offer though.
One of the best Super Mario games I have played. I played this after playing Mario Oddyssey, so it had big shoes to fill. It did not disappoint. A take on retro Mario games we all know and love, but with a modern take in terms of graphics and slightly more free rein of movement.
It looks excellent on the switch and has so many levels you can be engrossed for hours on end. A dream to play for adults and children!
Game is as per description and my son loves it.
It was not delivered next day as per premium delivery stated on item as Royal Mail don’t deliver on Sunday!
Super Mario 3D World:
Apart from Mario 64 this is my favourite this game has lots of different things to appeal to all gamers open world maps to the classic 1-2 themed place the game is a beauty in graphics considering its a 2013 game and the soundtrack is amazing it was such an enjoyable game to play the online play is good to not best as it can be frustrating but all good laughs
Bowsers Fury:
The best DLC Mario has to offer and open world and great experience collecting the cat shines across the map the soundtrack is great to and they bowser fury boss battle throughout the game are great to, although it’s a short dlc I’ve had much fun playing it great performance (30fps hand held and 60fps docked) and 1080p game play is great for a Mario game
So in my opinion:
Don’t sleep on this game it is extremely underrated and one of the best out there so if your in look for a new Mario game definitely try this
The 2 different sides of the game makes it fun and prevents boredom but I don’t like the 3d element of the game. I’ve had previous 3d mario games however the spatial awareness is really hard to grasp in this game which makes falling off of things REALLY easy which kind of takes the fun out of it.
Lovely game, it’s good that the whole family can play it together. The characters are cute af
Good game I am glad to have it as part of my collectio
When browsing for potential games to get for the Nintendo Switch, Super Mario 3D World was heavily recommended to me. And I got this for me and my niece to play. Having missed out on the Wii-U, I picked the game up for the Switch and we weren’t disappointed at all!
As you’d expect from a Mario game, Super Mario 3D World boasts fantastic gameplay and responsive controls. It’s just so playable from start-to-finish, and plenty of worlds, Power Stars and other secrets that you’ll spend hours exploring. Not only that, but elements from classic Mario games have been incorporated into this one. You have the option to play as Mario, Luigi, Peach and Toad (like Super Mario Bros. 2), which makes for a great experience in both single-player and multi-player modes. The format of the levels is nice, challenging and faithfully recreates traditional 2-D levels for a fun 3-D adventure. And as always there’s a great variety of power-ups, which you’ll need along with the different abilities of Mario, Luigi, Peach and Toad to complete the game.
Graphically, the game’s been refined from its Wii-U days (due to the Switch import), and it’s even more gorgeous to look at. Sound-wise, the music is as jazzy and cool as ever. 3D World plays exactly like a Mario Game should, and if you missed out on the Wii-U release, now’s a perfect time to get the game.
More so given the inclusion of Bowser’s Fury, which is a separate open-world platform game, seeing Mario actually team-up with Bowser Jr. to stop his out of control dad! It’s a unique premise for what is a unique Mario game. It’s rather short in comparison to 3D World or certainly Super Mario Odyssey, but it still boasts great playability and fun challenges that we all come to expect and love from Mario.
One tiny cartridge containing two games in one? It’s an essential purchase for the Nintendo Switch and simply great fun for single-players and the whole family! Me and my niece both loved this so much and would highly recommend it to other gamers! Definitely needed in every game library for the Switch!
Great game for Mario fans. Took my son a while to work out that it was 2 game in one.
Very happy has got all the family playing together and all the adult reminiscing about good old times playing this game !
What can I say it’s a Mario game, excellent game from Nintendo as are all Mario games
Great game and come in mail really fast and no damages thank you
Bought this for my sons 10th birthday he loves it great game
This made a seven-year-old birthday boy very happy and much to his annoyance, his four-year-old sister too!
Parents’ choice made sure we bought the perfect gift! It pays to ask 🙂
Such a great time I have with my son playing with Mario, very addictive and loads of fun playing with Mario saga games. A tonne of engaging gameplay, and we never get bored of mario games.
This is the future of 3d Mario i swear it, odyssey was good but i felt less of that mario magic. The stars were everywhere and so i felt no reward finding them. This game nails it with silky smooth 60fps and 4 player mayhem. Never has my family all come together and laughed so much!! This is flawless Mario and the later worlds really do become challenging for us veterans. Bowsers fury shows us what the next mario will hopefully be!
I played both games and they were really fun for family play. There are many levels to complete and the choice of character is good. However it does get quite difficult as you progress in the game, making it difficult to get all the stars etc. There are also many button combinations to remember. But overall graphics and game idea is really good.
Let’s focus on the base game alone for a second, an experience you may have already visited on the WII U if you had the luxury of owning one that is but it’s likely you didn’t.
This very refreshing, easy to pick up and fun filled package is by far one of my favourite Mario games released to date infact it’s up there at the top with Super Mario Odyssey.
The game plays incredibly well with very simple and intuitive controls for either Mario, Luigi, Peach and Toad! Thankfully not another mario game about Peach!!! That in itself is refreshing.
Graphically the game looks visually stunning as most do with its wonderful colour pallet and sharp details.
It runs very nicely on a large TV and just as nice on your switch console, personally I preffered to play on the handheld.
As we know Mario games can be a real challenge even on the normal levels but I found with this one it was a breeze to go through, very easy to pick up and play but those looking for a real challenge may be disappointed.
Collecting all of the stickers and stars though may be the place where the challenge is as I’m finding that out now myself but compared to Odyssey I couldn’t compare the two.
Coming in to the added bonus Bowser’s FURY this extra game is a fantastic addition to an already brilliant game with a completely different spin on the mario platforming formula. This had to be the highlight of the overall package as it is a bonus.
Everyone, if your on the lookout for another fantastic platformer then look no further it’s a buy for me.
The is one of my favourite Mario’s to date i never played the original 3D world on the wii u because i never had one so this was a whole new game for me i love the game play the graphics and colours are amazing the controls are spot on the fact you can play as peach/toad/Luigi or Mario is a great feature and they all have slightly different advantages and disadvantages on how they run/jump/speed etc it really make this game feel well made and thought out I’ve been enjoying this game since release and its definitely kept me more that entertained bowsers fury part of the game is absolutely stunning beautiful graphics and great game play its about 3-5 hours long as its just a extra bonus added on to the wii u port of 3D world you can play either game in any order you want as they don’t link to each other in any way so you can jump from one to the other very easily and enjoy them both at the same time this game as a whole is worth every penny i would definitely recommend this to any gamer out there to be honest there’s nothing bad i can say about this game one of my favourite switch games and a great start to 2021 for Nintendo fans
I don’t have a Wii U.. Hence, this was the first time I was playing Super Mario 3D world. It gives what you would expect from a Mario game. Individually themed worlds with various levels. It starts like a typical 2d mario game where you navigate one of the characters among levels in a map view. As you progress through the map, almost every new level introduces either a new theme or a new game mechanic (or both.). Game progression is quite linear such that you are directed towards the checkpoints and tasks naturally. Unlike Odyssey you can just progress forwards. This doesn’t mean the world doesn’t have its secrets. Each level hides moons and stamps (collectibles) along the linear path which are fun to find out by re-playing. However, if you want to proceed fast in the game, enough moons are straightforward to collect in order to advance.
Bowser’s Fury: I haven’t played it long enough but it seems Nintendo is experimenting on new mechanics using this title . There is an always available boost shop which you can spend coins on. Moreover, scale is used heavily in the game. You grow and shrink making the game have a new feel. Levels are designed smartly to have a different play style depending on which upgrade you have which increases re-playability.
Tldr: If you haven’t played this game on Wii U & you are willing to play same levels several times to collect all moons, stamps etc. definitely get this game. If you haven’t played it but looking for a game to spend 30+ hours without re-playing you might want to look for something else since main gameplay takes about 15 hours without looking for collectibles.
