Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury (Nintendo Switch)

Power up as Giga Cat Mario in the new Bowser’s Fury adventure
When Bowser is in full Fury, he can be pretty scary. Luckily, Mario can match his might with the Giga Bell, which lets him transform into the mighty Giga Cat Mario and go toe-to-toe with the monstrous Bowser in a titanic battle of biggies.

2 mario games in 1
3d world 4 player coop is great. Bowser fury open world is amazing and somewhat hard for a mario game. Nice as mario games are usually to easy. It’s a shame the Bowser fury mode is not longer though. Worth it on offer though.
Addictively brillia
One of the best Super Mario games I have played. I played this after playing Mario Oddyssey, so it had big shoes to fill. It did not disappoint. A take on retro Mario games we all know and love, but with a modern take in terms of graphics and slightly more free rein of movement.
It looks excellent on the switch and has so many levels you can be engrossed for hours on end. A dream to play for adults and children!
Product perfect, delivery not as advertised
Game is as per description and my son loves it.
It was not delivered next day as per premium delivery stated on item as Royal Mail don’t deliver on Sunday!
Super Mario 3D World:
Apart from Mario 64 this is my favourite this game has lots of different things to appeal to all gamers open world maps to the classic 1-2 themed place the game is a beauty in graphics considering its a 2013 game and the soundtrack is amazing it was such an enjoyable game to play the online play is good to not best as it can be frustrating but all good laughs
Bowsers Fury:
The best DLC Mario has to offer and open world and great experience collecting the cat shines across the map the soundtrack is great to and they bowser fury boss battle throughout the game are great to, although it’s a short dlc I’ve had much fun playing it great performance (30fps hand held and 60fps docked) and 1080p game play is great for a Mario game
So in my opinion:
Don’t sleep on this game it is extremely underrated and one of the best out there so if your in look for a new Mario game definitely try this
Fun game
The 2 different sides of the game makes it fun and prevents boredom but I don’t like the 3d element of the game. I’ve had previous 3d mario games however the spatial awareness is really hard to grasp in this game which makes falling off of things REALLY easy which kind of takes the fun out of it.
5.0 out of 5 stars Cute
Lovely game, it’s good that the whole family can play it together. The characters are cute af
No game inside
Box arrived plastic seal slightly torn on the side no game inside. Working on re shipping. Will see how this goes. These games are to expensive for this type of stuff to be happening.
Update: Sent box back. New box arrived completely sealed tight game inside.
Good game I am glad to have it as part of my collectio
I was very sceptical about buying this as since it has the number 7 in the left hand corner instead of the E, BUT it worked no different than the original one. It was cheaper to buy the one with the 7

When browsing for potential games to get for the Nintendo Switch, Super Mario 3D World was heavily recommended to me. And I got this for me and my niece to play. Having missed out on the Wii-U, I picked the game up for the Switch and we weren’t disappointed at all!
As you’d expect from a Mario game, Super Mario 3D World boasts fantastic gameplay and responsive controls. It’s just so playable from start-to-finish, and plenty of worlds, Power Stars and other secrets that you’ll spend hours exploring. Not only that, but elements from classic Mario games have been incorporated into this one. You have the option to play as Mario, Luigi, Peach and Toad (like Super Mario Bros. 2), which makes for a great experience in both single-player and multi-player modes. The format of the levels is nice, challenging and faithfully recreates traditional 2-D levels for a fun 3-D adventure. And as always there’s a great variety of power-ups, which you’ll need along with the different abilities of Mario, Luigi, Peach and Toad to complete the game.
Graphically, the game’s been refined from its Wii-U days (due to the Switch import), and it’s even more gorgeous to look at. Sound-wise, the music is as jazzy and cool as ever. 3D World plays exactly like a Mario Game should, and if you missed out on the Wii-U release, now’s a perfect time to get the game.
More so given the inclusion of Bowser’s Fury, which is a separate open-world platform game, seeing Mario actually team-up with Bowser Jr. to stop his out of control dad! It’s a unique premise for what is a unique Mario game. It’s rather short in comparison to 3D World or certainly Super Mario Odyssey, but it still boasts great playability and fun challenges that we all come to expect and love from Mario.
One tiny cartridge containing two games in one? It’s an essential purchase for the Nintendo Switch and simply great fun for single-players and the whole family! Me and my niece both loved this so much and would highly recommend it to other gamers! Definitely needed in every game library for the Switch!
5.0 out of 5 stars Hours of fu
Great game for Mario fans. Took my son a while to work out that it was 2 game in one.
5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing !
Very happy has got all the family playing together and all the adult reminiscing about good old times playing this game !
5.0 out of 5 stars Good game
What can I say it’s a Mario game, excellent game from Nintendo as are all Mario games
5.0 out of 5 stars Grea
Great game and come in mail really fast and no damages thank you
5.0 out of 5 stars Highly recommended
Bought this for my sons 10th birthday he loves it great game
This made a seven-year-old birthday boy very happy and much to his annoyance, his four-year-old sister too!
Parents’ choice made sure we bought the perfect gift! It pays to ask 🙂
Such a great time I have with my son playing with Mario, very addictive and loads of fun playing with Mario saga games. A tonne of engaging gameplay, and we never get bored of mario games.
This is the future of 3d Mario i swear it, odyssey was good but i felt less of that mario magic. The stars were everywhere and so i felt no reward finding them. This game nails it with silky smooth 60fps and 4 player mayhem. Never has my family all come together and laughed so much!! This is flawless Mario and the later worlds really do become challenging for us veterans. Bowsers fury shows us what the next mario will hopefully be!
I played both games and they were really fun for family play. There are many levels to complete and the choice of character is good. However it does get quite difficult as you progress in the game, making it difficult to get all the stars etc. There are also many button combinations to remember. But overall graphics and game idea is really good.
Bought this as a present for myself for my bday and it came in great condition I’m so happy with it and so far the game is good! 🙂 (even though I just got it)
Great 2 in 1 Game for the price
Great game for every one no matter how young or old for the entire family I’ve loved mario since was a kid and saw this 2 in 1 Game great price and great player expireance thanks for reading
Good game, great price
I’ve had this have in the past, when we first picked up the Switch (day of release period)
A very good quality game, loads of fun
Sold that one when we played it over a few times
Wanted it again, with the addition of the Bowser’s Fury
Picked this up when it was the best price ever – a no brainer really
It you’ve never played it, then frankly you should, you’ll not be disappointed
We love it!
This is the best mario game so far. Myself 25 and my partner 22. Really enjoyed this game. The best mario game there is so far. I would this to anyone.
I havent played bowsers fury yet. I an starting it today.
Classic Mario Fu
Another classic and very family friendly Mario game, I think it could do with a new mode with more time or no timer but it stays true to the original. Loads of fun..
Fantastic Experience
Fantastic game, still to try out the bowser’s fury part since I’m focusing on Mario 3D World but you can pick and choose to play whatever you want. Great game from Nintendo, the extra content justifies the price for this re-release
A true mario game.
Bought this for the hubby and he loved it. We enjoy the mario franchise and this didn’t let us down. It was just as fun and sometimes annoying as the rest.
Great game
This is a really good game. I’ve haven’t played the Wii U for a long time, but having watched comparison videos, it is clear that this is the superior version by a long way. It has varied and very enjoyable levels, easy ones, challenging ones, and loads of them. This is the best 3D Mario game for multiplayer, in my opinion. On top of that, you also get the separate adventure Bowser’s Fury, which is a unique and very enjoyable side adventure. In docked mode, both run at 1080p60. Undocked, 3D World runs at 720p60, Bowser’s Fury runs at 720p30. Overall, this is a really good game.
Bowsers fury alone is worth the asking price!
Having played 3D world to death in the Wii U I wasn’t sure this would be much value for money for me personally, I was thoroughly shocked how amazing bowsers fury is and alone is worth the price of admission. Highly recommend.
Game review super mario 3D world
Super Mario 3D World was just like the wii u version, but somehow it fells better and Bowser’s Fury is a excellent addition to already excellent game.
If you are unsure if to buy this game, then it will be a very fun and enjoyable game to play.
2 for 1 fun facto
The obvious drawback of any Nintendo product is their monopoly on fun. The fee for their games means I won’t go digital. If I have to pay that price I want something for my money. This being said, this game is a steal. The addition of the bowers fury makes this two games in one. The fun factor of mario is all there. The bowsers fury feels like an addition to the odysee games in how it plays rather than an expansion to the classic mario stylings. But the base game has all the classic gameplay with some modernized flare. The base game is ideal for all ages. The bowsers fury is fine for any age but feels more like something the adults would play when the kids have gone. Obviously the multiplayer element is always a plus.
The best Mario game yet fun and family friendly.
This the best Mario game yet. What I like about this game is that any age can play and enjoy. I also like that if my son is getting stuck in the game I can just connect my second controller and you just jump into the game as another character to help.
Very fun and enjoyable game that all the family can play.
Hope you found this helpful.
Polished entertainme
This is a port of the Wii U game and I’m glad it was ported as the Wii U was a commercial flop meaning a lot of people missed out on its brilliant games like this one. It’s a slick , polished and highly entertaining platform game that can be played by up to 4 people in multiplayer. There’s an online option for 2 but it’s best when played together. The new Bowser’s Fury mode is an all new game set in one large 3D level that gradually grows as you achieve goals. There are some great ideas on show here and is clearly an experiment for future titles as it isn’t a full sized game. It can be played in 1 player or 2 player co-op and it is great fun. This title is highly recommended, particularly for family and friends playing together.
It's a me Mario
A better version of super Mario 3d world on the supior Nintendo console. Fun little game with interesting level design that’s rewarding , fun to play and nice too look at. The new content is also welcome and mostly a good edition. Recommended if you never played if before.
Amazing package.
Great game, usual top notch gaming from Nintendo. Great graphics, fun and inventive gaming at its best, fun for all. The added bonus of the expansion is incredible, a fantastic game in its on right if a little on the short side, can’t wait for more. Highly recommended 10/10z
A Perfect Game
When I use the word ‘perfect’, I usually mean ‘fit for purpose’; it’s often nebulous when used as a rating.
This game excels in all aspects of gameplay, giving you 4-player multiplayer joy in what is also a thrilling and memorable single-player gaming experience, packed full of content, with reasonable difficulty scaling, something Nintendo has been mastering to a level that is both accessible and sufficiently challenging for all kinds of players.
Browser’s Fury is the cherry on top of an already beautifully iced cake. It adds a free roaming sandbox environment that is entirely new to Mario in that it’s an open world with islands within it that form the levels, each dynamically adapting to create the next challenge each time you get its available Cat Shine. Aside from this, the map format is taken from Odyssey but as with the rest of the game the fundamental mechanics are taken from 2D Mario. I love how these mechanics thrive both in the relative constraints of the somewhat isometric 3D World and equally in Bowser’s Fury.
Nintendo know how to make restrictions a basis for innovation and excellence, while also being able to open things up to allow more freedom without losing the identity and functionality that we come to love. Zelda is another example of this, considering that for a long time there was no dedicated ‘jump’ button. In the words of Orson Welles: “The enemy of art is the absence of limitations.” This is perhaps why the gaming market has seen retro games resurging. Nintendo content stands the test of time for the most part, retro or otherwise, proving true to the inspired text: “wisdom is proved righteous by its works”.
Fun for solo or togethe
Really fun, my brother loved it. He wanted it for Christmas and had to wait for his birthday but he enjoys playing it. It is fun to play with others and Bowser’s Fury is a good addition and co op is awesome with playing as Bowser Jr. The metal case with the preoder that came with it is so cool and has it displayed in his room. The 3d world is kind of hard to play especially with unsteady hands on some levels. But overall worth the buy.
AMAZING GAME!!!!
I have been a Mario fan since the 80’s and I do still own this on WiiU but the Switch version is much improved and better and I can honestly say it is now my all time favourite Mario game, in fact my ALL TIME favourite game full stop!
Just can’t stop smiling while playing.
Mario Odyssey is also a truly brilliant game…but slightly more difficult controls that this one.
10/10 easily. Buy it-you will not regret it.
Meow!
One of the best 3D Mario games. SO much better than Odyssey, Galaxy or Sunshine.
I know it’s a re-release but with Bowsers Fury its worth the price tag and has better online multiplayer support.
One of the best 3d Mario games eve
Finally one of the best Super Mario 3d games comes to the switch with an added bonus to boot. I can’t speak highly enough of this absolute gem of a game. Each level is fun and colourful. The addition of the co-op makes the game much more exciting and is bags of fun. To top it all off a mini side game was added called Bowser’s fury in the style of Super Mario Odyssey. Bowser’s fury is much more than a side game. It is visually impressive and is tons of fun to play. Super Mario 3d world + Bowser’s Fury is a definite must buy for the switch!
What was already a great game now features another great game on the same cart. I played super mario 3d World on the Nintendo wii u a while back and enjoy playing it all the way through with my daughter, when I saw it was being released on the switch it only seemed logical to upgrade. Slight improvement on graphics and a few upgrades to the actual gameplay are good but it’s the addition of Bowsers Fury that really make it worthwhile. It’s a stand alone game so you can jump straight in to it and it feels more like Mario Odyssey than 3d world, unique features and new power ups totally make this worth playing. I highly recommended this based on Bowser Fury alone
Great fun for which the whole family can join in.
I love playing Mario games and which one is quickly become my new favourite.
This game brings the fun and challenge of Mario 2D but is even better when each level is in 3D.
With the game being in 3D is makes playing multiplayer abit better and less frustrating as there is more room to play in.
Is has good graphics the game flows brilliantly.
Highly recommended to everyone wether you play solo or with the whole family.
The is one of my favourite Mario’s to date i never played the original 3D world on the wii u because i never had one so this was a whole new game for me i love the game play the graphics and colours are amazing the controls are spot on the fact you can play as peach/toad/Luigi or Mario is a great feature and they all have slightly different advantages and disadvantages on how they run/jump/speed etc it really make this game feel well made and thought out I’ve been enjoying this game since release and its definitely kept me more that entertained bowsers fury part of the game is absolutely stunning beautiful graphics and great game play its about 3-5 hours long as its just a extra bonus added on to the wii u port of 3D world you can play either game in any order you want as they don’t link to each other in any way so you can jump from one to the other very easily and enjoy them both at the same time this game as a whole is worth every penny i would definitely recommend this to any gamer out there to be honest there’s nothing bad i can say about this game one of my favourite switch games and a great start to 2021 for Nintendo fans
Let’s focus on the base game alone for a second, an experience you may have already visited on the WII U if you had the luxury of owning one that is but it’s likely you didn’t.
This very refreshing, easy to pick up and fun filled package is by far one of my favourite Mario games released to date infact it’s up there at the top with Super Mario Odyssey.
The game plays incredibly well with very simple and intuitive controls for either Mario, Luigi, Peach and Toad! Thankfully not another mario game about Peach!!! That in itself is refreshing.
Graphically the game looks visually stunning as most do with its wonderful colour pallet and sharp details.
It runs very nicely on a large TV and just as nice on your switch console, personally I preffered to play on the handheld.
As we know Mario games can be a real challenge even on the normal levels but I found with this one it was a breeze to go through, very easy to pick up and play but those looking for a real challenge may be disappointed.
Collecting all of the stickers and stars though may be the place where the challenge is as I’m finding that out now myself but compared to Odyssey I couldn’t compare the two.
Coming in to the added bonus Bowser’s FURY this extra game is a fantastic addition to an already brilliant game with a completely different spin on the mario platforming formula. This had to be the highlight of the overall package as it is a bonus.
Everyone, if your on the lookout for another fantastic platformer then look no further it’s a buy for me.
Amazing
Can’t fault, really fun game and the golden tanooki suit has carried over from 3D land if you suck at mario like me lol. Bowsers fury is a solid 4-5 hours extra that combines 3D world’s game play with a Sunshine/Odyssey style sandbox. Well worth it.
Perfect 🤩👌🏼
We are a house of Mario lovers so it was inevitable that one of my sons would buy this soon! It arrived yesterday and they have all gone wild over Bowsers Fury the actual main game is the same as the Wii U version which is fab as their Wii U broke a while back and they loved playing this together!!
I can’t wait for them to complete it so I can play it myself
Amaaaaaazing game. I loved the mario 3D land on 3DS but this takes it to another level. The Graphics seem better but I don’t know if it’s only because I’m really excited lol. It’s a great game. So many levels and there’s a lot of added things compared to the original. It’s basically two games in one. The bowsers fury game is so cool. It’s like a combination of mario and spyro. You roam a land and have lots of challenges to do. It really takes mario to a whole new level. I’ve only played for a day but I love it already! it’s better to purchase on here than the Nintendo store because it’s much cheaper 😉
Typical Mario genius
What a great game, never played the main title before so am enjoying this greatly, a fantastic Mario outing. The ‘bonus’ Bowser’s fury section is equally great, having watched a review online stating it was a great but short game taking around 4 hours to complete all I can say is the person must have some god like gaming skills to have done this, I have been playing since release day and only halfway through it!
I would say buy this game but be warned it looks cute but like most other Mario titles be prepared to try and complete the same level over and over again, press pause, breath, maybe make a cup of tea and try try again.
One of the most fun games of the yea
been playing it for a few hours tonight (after re-playing Mario Galaxy) and dang it is fun
Nintendo don’t make the most hyper-realistic games, or even the most immersive… but they do make the most engaging and fun games
Even if you pay a few more quid to get it from amazon this is money you won’t regret spending
The Wii U’s finest is improved
My favourite Mario of the HD era with the added bonus of Bowser’s Fury!
So much fun. Looks terrific with the improved resolution on the TV, brilliant soundtrack too. Highly recommended for on the go now as well!
I don’t have a Wii U.. Hence, this was the first time I was playing Super Mario 3D world. It gives what you would expect from a Mario game. Individually themed worlds with various levels. It starts like a typical 2d mario game where you navigate one of the characters among levels in a map view. As you progress through the map, almost every new level introduces either a new theme or a new game mechanic (or both.). Game progression is quite linear such that you are directed towards the checkpoints and tasks naturally. Unlike Odyssey you can just progress forwards. This doesn’t mean the world doesn’t have its secrets. Each level hides moons and stamps (collectibles) along the linear path which are fun to find out by re-playing. However, if you want to proceed fast in the game, enough moons are straightforward to collect in order to advance.
Bowser’s Fury: I haven’t played it long enough but it seems Nintendo is experimenting on new mechanics using this title . There is an always available boost shop which you can spend coins on. Moreover, scale is used heavily in the game. You grow and shrink making the game have a new feel. Levels are designed smartly to have a different play style depending on which upgrade you have which increases re-playability.
Tldr: If you haven’t played this game on Wii U & you are willing to play same levels several times to collect all moons, stamps etc. definitely get this game. If you haven’t played it but looking for a game to spend 30+ hours without re-playing you might want to look for something else since main gameplay takes about 15 hours without looking for collectibles.
The game is great perfect for a gamer like my husband. Will be played while in lockdown and after lockdown is over. The game is really good and enjoyable to play
My six year old loves mario so i pre ordered this. 3D world is really fun and good for us both to play in two player mode. Bowser’s fury is more of a conceptual shorter game, closer in style to Mario odyssey- very fun! Definitely worth it for some half term holiday fun!
Super Mario 3D World+ Bowser’s Fury is 2 adventures in one if you have played the Wii U Original then Super Mario 3D World will not be that hard but Bowser’s fury this new mode is exactly what you want collecting Cat Shines to defeat Bowser but beware as he can pop up at any time extreme fun and exciting would definitely recommend this to any Mario fa
