On a hot summer afternoon, my friend granted me the privilege to drink from her water bottle. This was my first, and certainly not my last encounter with a Super Sparrow bottle. Three days later, I owned a Super Sparrow of my own. Shortly after, my husband bought himself one. Lo and behold, every member of my family is now a proud owner of a Super Sparrow water bottle. I’m starting to think they should be offering me a commission!
Genuinely, these are great bottles. Highly recommend.
Ideal bottle for the Gym or to take away on holiday, doesn’t flavor the water, top is very easy to use and the whole thing is super easy to clean, 500ml version is light and perfect to chuck into a backpack.
I already have the 1000ml bottle which I use all the time. I ordered this to use when I am out and about as it is a more managable size for carrying around.
Arrived in good time … would recommend. Good quality wide neck so can add fruit and has a removable filter. Its tall and thin rather than shorter and fatter so Good for taking less space up in you bag. Does not leak. The drinking spout is the perfect size does not allow too much fluid through like other makes do so less risk of ending up wearing what your wanting to drink. Great for the gym can open and shut with one hand. There’s a little catch to hold the lid secure the lid flips back easily on opening. So impressed bought 2.
Less impressed with delivery of one which was just left on my doorstep for hours for anyone to take.
2nd purchase of this water bottle because i lost my last one.
Love the finish of the plastic & the wrist band is very helpful & a good design.
One posh to open for a drink is brilliant for exercise.
Would recommend, and in my opinion the price is fair.
This one is good for the gym but also for daily use. I find that I drink more water when I carry this around rather than just a glass of water.
It’s easy to clean and after 6 months of use it still looks great, the logo and measurement marks on the bottle didn’t come off at all, it looks like new.
Bought these for my kids to take to school. So far they seem very durable unlike other water bottles they’ve had in the past. The bottles are also really easy to clean and don’t have parts that you can’t reach to clean (again I’ve had this issue in the past) overall they are a little more expensive than some others on Amazon but I would say spend the extra and get one of these. The quality speaks for itself.
I bought one 3 years ago, no issues with the seal or lock, all worked fine and leakproof but I lost it.
I had to buy a replacement of this great tried and tested bottle.
It was well packed in protective packaging which also had the branding and assurance of authenticity and the bottle being brand new- I should have taken photographs!
The 500 ml is a handy size, not too big or small.
The lock works, keeps the lid securely fastened.
There is a handy filter that sits inside the top for those who like to put fruit in their water.
Love the blue colour.
I have not noticed any plastic taste or tainting of the water with this bottle.
Cleans easily.
There is a tiny air hole in the top which, if you tip it the wrong way when the bottle is full could let some water out onto you, as I found out – not an issue, just be careful which way you tip the bottle/how far you tip it.
Remember it this not insulated.
The 500 ml size ensures refills = assurance of fresh water, providing of course that you are drinking it!
A great drinks bottle. Better to drink from than a wide mouthed bottle. Nicely coloured, and easy to carry with it`s own wrist strap. I like it, a really good buy
I have a number of these water bottles because they are easy to clean, they have a spare plastic bobble in case you loose yours to keep it sealed and they have been able to withstand many travels within a senior school and college setting with both of mine. Honestly can not fault these bottles, they are fab.
I am always taking glasses of water up to bed, forgetting to bring then down or knocking them over. I ordered the small bottle and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality.
First of all, the colour is absolutely (Sea Glass) and the quality is great. It even comes with a strainer in the neck, if you have fruits in the water, as well as replacement rubber bungs for the lid. Very affordable, I loved it.
I also ordered the 1litre bottle for the gym, colour Bright Orchid. Absolutely stunning colour.
These super sparrow water bottles are excellent. I bought my first one 6 years ago and I finally need to replace it. I have 2, a 500ml for my bedroom during the night and a 1000ml for everywhere else. They’ve never let me down. My big bottle, which I’m replacing today, is only just started to leak slightly when it’s upside down. Probably due more to me using my sodastream every day and having fizzy water in it rather than anything else. It’s always kept the fizz in because the pop lid is so sturdy and I love the colour options. Now I need a new bottle I immediately know I want a super sparrow again.
Bottle is as advertised, locking feature is really good and will prevent accidental spills when in a bag. The added filter is really nice too, lets me put a lemon wedge without it going down my throat.
Love that they do t have an integral straw that can harbour germs and mould.
Easy to drink out of, if not careful can get some liquid coming out of air hole as using the cup if drinking from the side of the lid rather than the front.
Good sized nozzle to drink from.
Non spill when the lid is closed. Little locking mechanism is effective.

The lock mechanism works great, the filter is great for summer for adding ice and/or fruit so you can drink without the spout getting blocked up. Each bottle comes with spare seals, which I’ve only had to use one of (so I now have a nice little collection in my kitchen drawer). We’ve had no problems with them leaking, being dropped, left in bags, left in the car. They are not, as you can tell, treated kindly by my boys. And, yet still they endure.
The only thing I don’t do is buy the frosted ones. They start of pretty but look messy after a while when it starts to come off, so I just buy the plain, or bright I think they’re labelled, ones now.
I wanted a bigger bottle that would hold a lot without being too bulky. The 1000 ml version of this Super Sparrow bottle fits the bill well. I have small hands and the bottle is large, but not ridiculously so. Besides, the carry handle offsets this well. It’s super – very sturdy and looks great, a kind of geometric pattern matching the colour of the bottle. I chose the purple “Orchid” colour and it is very nice, strong and bright. I decided to go for the “Bright” option, since from what I could see of the other option, it has a “non-slip”, rubberised coating. I thought that this might not age well and begin to rub or break away from high impact areas, and through washing over time. The “bright” version is shiny and smooth, without being too slippy to carry. Pleased with this choice. I like the capacity measurement on the bottle, so I can keep an eye as to how much I’m drinking. It shows capacity in ml and oz (but doesn’t show hourly consumption recommendations as I’ve seen on other bottles, but this wasn’t something I was looking for – I generally just drink when I’m thirsty!).
I really like the opening mechanism – easy to do one-handed as advertised. The lock is a great idea and will protect bags and car seats from accidental leaks. The bonus on the lock is that my toddler niece can’t figure out how to get it open, so can’t gain access to the contents of the bottle or empty them out!
The drinking spout will take a bit of getting used to for me – the air-hole means the flow is particularly fast (which is a good thing generally). I’ve never had a water bottle with this design before, so the flow still feels a bit alien in some way to me. I’m sure I’ll get used to it over time. Both the spout and the air-hole are sealed by rubber-stops in the lid and both are strong seals, preventing leaks.
The only slight negative I have is that the carry handle is a bit tricky to get on and off for going in the dishwasher, but it really is minor. The flip of that is that the handle is highly unlikely to come off accidentally, which is obviously great. It is a sturdy, but pliable plastic ring and is unlikely to snap like other bottles I’ve had which meant they couldn’t be carried or strapped conveniently, which annoyed me about them.
At the moment the bottle is very new, so I can’t attest to how hard-wearing it is, or how it will age, but so far, I’m pretty sure it’s going to be with me for a while. It’s much easier to clean than other brands and designs I’ve had before (I’ve gone through a lot of water bottles, going through school, university, travelling and being a keen hillwalker and rock-climber). I loved my Camelbak Eddy bottle, which has a straw and bite-down mouthpiece, but it was so fiddly to clean that I grew tired of it fairly quickly. With the Super Sparrow bottle, the mouthpiece is covered when the lid is closed, so it’s a bit more hygienic when out and about too. My Camelbak also took one knock and ceased to be water-tight which made it pretty much useless unless it was carried and stored carefully at all times. The Super Sparrow bottle has a great seal and has proved to be completely leak-proof so far. It also doesn’t store too much water in the threads of the lid like some bottles I’ve had. I generally get in the car and sling my bottle on the passenger seat – it’s great to know this new Super Sparrow bottle is trust-worthy and won’t leak.
So far, I’m really happy with the purchase and will update if anything pressing becomes obvious over time. My sister liked it so much I ordered one for her in Bright Blue and she was delighted.
