The best water bottle.
On a hot summer afternoon, my friend granted me the privilege to drink from her water bottle. This was my first, and certainly not my last encounter with a Super Sparrow bottle. Three days later, I owned a Super Sparrow of my own. Shortly after, my husband bought himself one. Lo and behold, every member of my family is now a proud owner of a Super Sparrow water bottle. I’m starting to think they should be offering me a commission!
Genuinely, these are great bottles. Highly recommend.
Great quality non-toxic bottle
Ideal bottle for the Gym or to take away on holiday, doesn’t flavor the water, top is very easy to use and the whole thing is super easy to clean, 500ml version is light and perfect to chuck into a backpack.
Ideal for a handbag
I already have the 1000ml bottle which I use all the time. I ordered this to use when I am out and about as it is a more managable size for carrying around.
Would recommend
Arrived in good time … would recommend. Good quality wide neck so can add fruit and has a removable filter. Its tall and thin rather than shorter and fatter so Good for taking less space up in you bag. Does not leak. The drinking spout is the perfect size does not allow too much fluid through like other makes do so less risk of ending up wearing what your wanting to drink. Great for the gym can open and shut with one hand. There’s a little catch to hold the lid secure the lid flips back easily on opening. So impressed bought 2.
Less impressed with delivery of one which was just left on my doorstep for hours for anyone to take.

I really liked the design of this water bottle, so I got the 750ml and it was the perfect size for me (easily fits my backpack). Love the dark blue shade, and that I can see through it – I really didn’t want one of the metal bottles available on the market, I don’t like the sound they make and how they feel in my hand.
This one is good for the gym but also for daily use. I find that I drink more water when I carry this around rather than just a glass of water.
It’s easy to clean and after 6 months of use it still looks great, the logo and measurement marks on the bottle didn’t come off at all, it looks like new.
Good quality
Bought these for my kids to take to school. So far they seem very durable unlike other water bottles they’ve had in the past. The bottles are also really easy to clean and don’t have parts that you can’t reach to clean (again I’ve had this issue in the past) overall they are a little more expensive than some others on Amazon but I would say spend the extra and get one of these. The quality speaks for itself.

Great water bottle
We have 4 bottles now, 2 large and 2 small. We like the tops that are covered and can be opened easily with one hand. There is a clip to lock this so no accidental leaks!
Hydration on the move
I bought one 3 years ago, no issues with the seal or lock, all worked fine and leakproof but I lost it.
I had to buy a replacement of this great tried and tested bottle.
It was well packed in protective packaging which also had the branding and assurance of authenticity and the bottle being brand new- I should have taken photographs!
The 500 ml is a handy size, not too big or small.
The lock works, keeps the lid securely fastened.
There is a handy filter that sits inside the top for those who like to put fruit in their water.
Love the blue colour.
I have not noticed any plastic taste or tainting of the water with this bottle.
Cleans easily.
There is a tiny air hole in the top which, if you tip it the wrong way when the bottle is full could let some water out onto you, as I found out – not an issue, just be careful which way you tip the bottle/how far you tip it.
Remember it this not insulated.
The 500 ml size ensures refills = assurance of fresh water, providing of course that you are drinking it!
Nice handy size with a filte
The bottle holds about an average size glass of water and is ideal for a gym session or exercise class.
Comes with a filter and a lockable lid which is good.
Drinking is easy and non drip unless you tip it too far as there is a ‘breathing’ hole on the top.
Only down side is the strap as it’s too small for normal hand to go through

Good size, cap works well, made from fairy sturdy plastic. Spring loaded lid. Water is fast flowing. You get a couple of silicone caps to keep it water tight and a couple of replacement ones. You also get a kind of strainer thing that goes in the neck of the bottle.
Ideal to use but difficult to clea
I bought two of these, as I have many different medical issues and have tipped “open” drinks all over myself, and my bedding, on more than one occasion.
Firstly, the hand strap is a godsend, as it leaves both my hands free for use, when moving around a few steps. The removable filter is also good, as it slows down the rate at which liquid goes in (or out) of the bottle. I imagine it would also be good for mixing protein drinks, etc.
The flip up lid is very secure and the up and over clip prevents accidental opening of the lid. I cannot fault any of these features.
However, when the bottle is full, liquid will drip out, at a fair rate, from the small hole which allows air in. More than once I have had a wet neck or face, which is not fun when I have to sit in a semi-reclined position.
The worst thing however, is getting them properly clean. I noticed, a couple days after using them, that there were mold spots growing on the inside of the bottle (just held it up to the light). I think this is because the neck is too narrow for the dishwasher fluid to get inside the bottle properly. (They have been washed on the top shelf, with other plastic items).
After noticing this (and having had a dicky tummy for a day or two), I got a white cloth and took apart a bottle that had been washed. There was a large amount of mold inside the actual drinking spout (which is, itself, black in colour, so not easy to see the mold with a naked eye) and also mold between the gaps of the filter, and under the top ridge of the actual bottle.
Handwashing was tried (although this is time consuming, and these bottles were purchased specifically as they are suitable for the dishwasher) but this too led to difficulty getting the brush everywhere and when held to the light, I could again see brush strokes, where particles were again visible. (My partner handwashed them, and he was very thorough). I don’t know if these issues are due to the type of plastic, or the design of the bottle, but it needs addressing, as otherwise these bottles are perfect. I have discovered that the 350ml ones don’t hold enough for me, so I shall be buying a bigger size (of this brand) and see if the same problems occur. If so, they will be returned (I was too late to return the first 2 by the time I discovered the problem).
If anyone else has encountered this, and discovered a solution, I would be most happy to hear from them.
This Water Bottle is beautifully made and looks great. The drinking spout is excellent and never leaks or spills as you are drinking from it. I have purchased quite a lot of water bottles for using at my gym exercises etc but they have all leaked and or broken. This bottle is the only one to actually be a pleasure to use. Just get it and I am sure you won’t regret it. In fact, I am going to get another one in another lovely colour!
I’ve ordered multiples of this water bottle over the last few years. They are brilliant for the kids for school (very resilient when they’re dropped, don’t leak in school bags, can see whether they need refilling without opening them) and great for travelling and on the go too.
I’ve tried all the fancy metal water bottles but I keep coming back to these. The strap is great for attaching them to things like rucksacks or for the kids to hold and you can put the whole thing in the dishwasher, which is a total winner!
Overall, the bottle is nice and slick. The outer material makes it easy to grip, and the small filter inside is a great addition.
Unfortunately, on the 2nd day I began using the bottle, the little lastic lip near the lock broke off when I closed the lid. It was pretty surprising considering everything else seems fairly sturdy. Thankfully, there’s no leaks caused by this, so it’s more aesthetics than anything else.
Edit 25/04 – I was contacted by a representative and offered a replacement bottle, which arrived promptly the day after it was arranged. The new bottle works just as well as the old one. I’ve made sure not to treat it any differently, and nothing has broken. Perhaps the first bottle was just an unlucky mishap, overall the design and make is great, and the care the representative took to arrange a new bottle convinces me to overlook the first one.

A great drinks bottle. Better to drink from than a wide mouthed bottle. Nicely coloured, and easy to carry with it`s own wrist strap. I like it, a really good buy
So pretty and good quality
I am always taking glasses of water up to bed, forgetting to bring then down or knocking them over. I ordered the small bottle and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality.
First of all, the colour is absolutely (Sea Glass) and the quality is great. It even comes with a strainer in the neck, if you have fruits in the water, as well as replacement rubber bungs for the lid. Very affordable, I loved it.
I also ordered the 1litre bottle for the gym, colour Bright Orchid. Absolutely stunning colour.
Puts up with a senior school environme
I have a number of these water bottles because they are easy to clean, they have a spare plastic bobble in case you loose yours to keep it sealed and they have been able to withstand many travels within a senior school and college setting with both of mine. Honestly can not fault these bottles, they are fab.
The quality of the bottle is amazing and had a great unboxing experience, it is very easy to use and clean and comes with replacements for the rubber stoppers. I’m already thinking about buying another bottle! The lock feature of the button has definitely come in handy more than once already ensuring that it doesn’t open in the bag or when dropped and even shaking it upside down had no leakage either. Top quality bottle for sure 5/5 stars 100%!
Easy to use
I use it whenever i go out and during the night. Its easy to use, lightweight, and comes with a filter for fruit. Handy wrist strap saves both hands when needed.

Exactly what I ordered
This water bottle is perfect and despite some reviews does not leak, I can see how carelessness could lead to it leaking though. Soft to the touch and the 500ml size fits perfectly in the hand.
Ordered at around 1pm on a Saturday and delivered before 11.30am the following morning, unreal !!

Bottle feels lovely, seals work great, you get an extra set of the little seals for the lid which I think is great. It is good quality. I also like the little locking bit so you don’t accidentally flip it open.
The only issue I’m having is it doesn’t sit great in the car Cup holder because its a long thin bottle but could easily put something around it to stop it nearly falling over.

I purchase this bottle because I wanted a slightly larger for my 9 yo son after the last one (different brand) broke. He picked his colour and is very happy with it. He drinks more water at school with one or two refills that are very easy to make. He sometimes likes to add a basil leave or lemon for added flavour. It’s not a cheap bottle so I hope it will last. Easy to clean with bottle cleaner, and effortless to drink from/hold. There’s a strap which comes handy when carrying it around. Happy with my purchase.
Fantastic
Really great bottle, I’ve had a few of super sparrows insulated bottles before but I just wanted a plain water bottle now. Great range of colours in both shiny and matte finishes, I went with the shiny black one which is pretty opaque for a shiny finish bottle which I love. It’s a great size for a 1L not too big at all. My 7.5CM bottle boots fit on it too although I think an 8cm may fit more smoothly but 7.5 is nice and snug. Stickers stick to it perfectly. The only issue I had was the security seal sticker on it left residue which took quite a bit of duck tape to lift off. Good spout although the water does rush out at you quite fast. Spare parts for the lid too which is really great. We’ll see how this holds up over time but so far I’m loving it.
Amazing customer service
The purpose of writing this review is to express how great the customer service is of Super Sparrow. I had managed to loose in the dish washer a small platic bit that stops the bottle from leaking. Instead of charging me for that small bit they sent me a replacement with no questions asked. This is great.
Overall their bottles are very good. The only reason I don’t give them a full 5 star is that I find the locking mechanism gets a bit in the way of when I’m drinking.

These super sparrow water bottles are excellent. I bought my first one 6 years ago and I finally need to replace it. I have 2, a 500ml for my bedroom during the night and a 1000ml for everywhere else. They’ve never let me down. My big bottle, which I’m replacing today, is only just started to leak slightly when it’s upside down. Probably due more to me using my sodastream every day and having fizzy water in it rather than anything else. It’s always kept the fizz in because the pop lid is so sturdy and I love the colour options. Now I need a new bottle I immediately know I want a super sparrow again.

Bottle is as advertised, locking feature is really good and will prevent accidental spills when in a bag. The added filter is really nice too, lets me put a lemon wedge without it going down my throat.
Bought the 750ml bottle for hiking, very pleased with it. Cap is excellent, locks in place but with an easy release button, did not leak at all. Strap was very useful to secure to the side pocket of my rucksack for easy access while walking. Easy to clean with a bottle brush and a strip of sponge to clean inside the spout. 10/10 will be buying more for my family for school and hiking trips.

Love that they do t have an integral straw that can harbour germs and mould.
Easy to drink out of, if not careful can get some liquid coming out of air hole as using the cup if drinking from the side of the lid rather than the front.
Good sized nozzle to drink from.

I wanted a 1 litre bottle without the usual time measurements and quotes. Got the dark blue bottle with picture. It does have volume measurements on but as these are dark it’s not obvious. The design on the front is dark and subtle. No leaks . Great bottle
This is my second super sparrow tritan 100ml water bottle, I still use the first but I wanted a second for when I wasn’t near any water source. I would highly recommend them.
There are so many water bottles on the market, so exciting, so colourful, so gadgety. A simple purchase, yet so overwhelming! I bought a couple of these for my sons to use for school a couple of years ago and they are still going strong. And so, this is now the brand I turn to if I need a drinking bottle. One less thing to have to decide about. Have just ordered another couple more.
The lock mechanism works great, the filter is great for summer for adding ice and/or fruit so you can drink without the spout getting blocked up. Each bottle comes with spare seals, which I’ve only had to use one of (so I now have a nice little collection in my kitchen drawer). We’ve had no problems with them leaking, being dropped, left in bags, left in the car. They are not, as you can tell, treated kindly by my boys. And, yet still they endure.
The only thing I don’t do is buy the frosted ones. They start of pretty but look messy after a while when it starts to come off, so I just buy the plain, or bright I think they’re labelled, ones now.
I wanted a good and practical water bottle for my gym. This one turned out to be perfect. Looks great, is easy to clean, and has no leaks when carried around in backpacks (even upside down!). So now I also use it for my hikes and home office.
I am really impressed with this water bottle.
I wanted a bigger bottle that would hold a lot without being too bulky. The 1000 ml version of this Super Sparrow bottle fits the bill well. I have small hands and the bottle is large, but not ridiculously so. Besides, the carry handle offsets this well. It’s super – very sturdy and looks great, a kind of geometric pattern matching the colour of the bottle. I chose the purple “Orchid” colour and it is very nice, strong and bright. I decided to go for the “Bright” option, since from what I could see of the other option, it has a “non-slip”, rubberised coating. I thought that this might not age well and begin to rub or break away from high impact areas, and through washing over time. The “bright” version is shiny and smooth, without being too slippy to carry. Pleased with this choice. I like the capacity measurement on the bottle, so I can keep an eye as to how much I’m drinking. It shows capacity in ml and oz (but doesn’t show hourly consumption recommendations as I’ve seen on other bottles, but this wasn’t something I was looking for – I generally just drink when I’m thirsty!).
I really like the opening mechanism – easy to do one-handed as advertised. The lock is a great idea and will protect bags and car seats from accidental leaks. The bonus on the lock is that my toddler niece can’t figure out how to get it open, so can’t gain access to the contents of the bottle or empty them out!
The drinking spout will take a bit of getting used to for me – the air-hole means the flow is particularly fast (which is a good thing generally). I’ve never had a water bottle with this design before, so the flow still feels a bit alien in some way to me. I’m sure I’ll get used to it over time. Both the spout and the air-hole are sealed by rubber-stops in the lid and both are strong seals, preventing leaks.
The only slight negative I have is that the carry handle is a bit tricky to get on and off for going in the dishwasher, but it really is minor. The flip of that is that the handle is highly unlikely to come off accidentally, which is obviously great. It is a sturdy, but pliable plastic ring and is unlikely to snap like other bottles I’ve had which meant they couldn’t be carried or strapped conveniently, which annoyed me about them.
At the moment the bottle is very new, so I can’t attest to how hard-wearing it is, or how it will age, but so far, I’m pretty sure it’s going to be with me for a while. It’s much easier to clean than other brands and designs I’ve had before (I’ve gone through a lot of water bottles, going through school, university, travelling and being a keen hillwalker and rock-climber). I loved my Camelbak Eddy bottle, which has a straw and bite-down mouthpiece, but it was so fiddly to clean that I grew tired of it fairly quickly. With the Super Sparrow bottle, the mouthpiece is covered when the lid is closed, so it’s a bit more hygienic when out and about too. My Camelbak also took one knock and ceased to be water-tight which made it pretty much useless unless it was carried and stored carefully at all times. The Super Sparrow bottle has a great seal and has proved to be completely leak-proof so far. It also doesn’t store too much water in the threads of the lid like some bottles I’ve had. I generally get in the car and sling my bottle on the passenger seat – it’s great to know this new Super Sparrow bottle is trust-worthy and won’t leak.
So far, I’m really happy with the purchase and will update if anything pressing becomes obvious over time. My sister liked it so much I ordered one for her in Bright Blue and she was delighted.
