Good quality DVR.
Had a major problem purchasing this DVR directly for Swann. No problem with Amazon order. As for the DVR itself, I purchased as a replacement for an older home CCTV system. Was easy to set up and the picture quality for both day and night vision is amazing. Highly recommended.
I bought this to replace my old DVR that was no longer recording due to age. I was able to use my previous equipment with this DVR and as soon as it started up it was working as intended. I can now view live video and recorded video on my phone. The steps were easy.

This replaced our old Swann model 8 4500h that has the t855 cameras and everything works great! I could not afford to have new cameras and cables put up so I tried this 4680 and I like it better than our old one. Swann is the way to go!

Simple to use, Excellent produc
Very easy to set up, works with home computer and multiple phones so great when checking in when away or on holiday etc. Very clear footage even at night.

Easy CCTV
Setup was easy using the phone app and pad. However I still cannot see the CCTV cameras on my computer
Tried the technical support and cannot get a rational answer. There has been communication, but all they do is point you to various webpages, these are vast and already spent hours searching to no avail. Therefore I cannot use the computer.
Replacement for an older unit that had had its day. Easy setup, up and running quickly, nice control features

I have had two cheaper HD CCTV systems in the past, what separates this from the others is two fold. first, the set up us more simple and intuitive, requiring less technical ability to get it operating and secondly, the quality of the app and software. the Swann system is easier to use, looks better and works well compared to other ‘cheap’ apps that are clunky and unreliable.

Reading “Paul J” review. I have my router downstairs and my Swann cctv in my bedroom. I have mine connected to a 6 socket switch which is connected to my Swann by cat5 cable, and my switch connected to a BT Wi-Fi with cat6, which then uses the house earth system. Downstairs I have the other BT Wi-Fi and again connected to the router by cat6 and is working fine. Put the Swann CCTV IP address on any TV and you can pick up your cameras on any TV or PC, table or phone.

Great DVR
I’ve used this to replace an older Chinese dvr .It was a straight swap, all is good even using old existing non swan cameras. I will eventually upgrade to newer HD cameras in the near future. It’s all connected up to Amazon Alexa, very happy
