This flat iron looks great, with sleek lines and an attractive rose gold trim. The touch buttons are nicely illuminated, easy to use, and offer a good amount of control over heat and settings. You can, for example, set whether your hair has been colour treated and the Lucea will adjust accordingly.

The ceramic plates glide easily without any snagging and feel kind on your hair. In general, the iron is easy to handle, though it is a little heavier than cheaper models I’ve used – possibly a side effect of the extra functionality and higher build quality.

The iron is versatile and you can create a variety of looks by straightening or curling. The results are probably a little better than cheaper options I’ve used before, but possibly not different enough to justify the premium.

There are some practical positives as well – there’s a plenty of room to grip the iron without your fingers getting close to the plates, the cable is a good length, and it heats up in under 30 seconds.

Recommended if you want a luxurious and full-featured flat iron and are willing to pay a bit more for something you’ll use frequently.

I have thick, frizz prone hair that has a strong kink in it. I rarely bothered to use straighteners on my hair as it would take a long time & the finished results didn’t last for long.

One thing that makes a difference to the results is that these straighteners have ceramic plates, which I’ve found give me longer lasting results AND reduce any frizziness metal plates gave me. I have gotten good, long lasting results (I tied my hair up & when I combed it back out the next day my hair was still super straight and smooth.

If you have thinner hair you don’t need to make do with a few pre-selected heat settings and fry your hair. The straighteners have a temperature dial and adjustable plates, making it easy to pick the right temperature for your hair. The steam feature makes the process kinder to the hair.

I’ve removed a star as I prefer straighteners with wider plates, as I find the straightening process a bit quick faster with wider plates. I’ve had a play around for the past few weeks and the thinner plates do make it easy to curl and wave my hair, but I’m just mainly interested in straightening out the kinks. Also; the price is ouch…

There’s different touchscreen symbols built into the handle and they show up when you plug in the straighteners- I thought that was a weird design in case my palm kept miss-clicking them when I’m holding it, but that never happened since there’s a really good lock function. On the other hand, when it’s unlocked and I’m trying to change the settings, the touchscreen symbols won’t always respond.

I think the tech is dope but I miss having a screen telling me the exact temp and specs, that’s because I change settings based on the condition and cleanliness of my hair. The manual explains a lot and even suggests what’s best for my hair type but the recommendation isn’t always hot enough for specific techniques.

I haven’t burnt myself which is a first for hair straighteners, and that’s thanks to the design. The bundle comes with the straightener and two manuals. The cable is a fantastic length. It take less than 30 seconds to heat up. The white part of the straightener is matte (with a subtle sheen), smooth, and doesn’t collect fingerprints. Plus, I have split ends and overly damaged bleached hair however it ends up feeling soft and less frizzy after styling.

I like it and it’s the only straightener I’ve been using over the last six weeks despite having 3 others to choose from. Saying that, it’s definitely not worth 199.99 (which is the current price) and my opinion is based on the negative stuff in the first two paragraphs.

    They're overpriced

I have been waiting for straightners lke these forever, they really are straightners of the future as they decided the temperture requiredfor my hair. Yes thats right you input texture length and whether your ahir is coloured or not and the temp is set automatically for money, it is possible to over ride this option if wanted too.
Aesthetically please so pretty and so different to be in a white and rose gold mix so good you don;t want to keep these hidden away.
It does come with a auto shut down of a 1 hour which is fantastic as not all hair straightners have a auto shut off. Do note these do not come with a heat mat which I would have expected with the high rrp.
This brand has been around a while and is well known to hairdressers as I wanted advice as to why these are so expensive.
I have what can only be described as a ashaggy wolfs coat, very thick, wirey, bleached and curly basically every hair dressers nightmare when i ask them to straighten my hair.
my hair looks salon prepped once i use these straightners so if you ahve hair like mine and love to wear your heair straight without looking dry and crispy then these straightners are for you.

I tested these against my pervious straightners, a very well known three letter brand that goes for a similar price. I loved my old ones so it had to be somthing special to become my go to hair tool, long story short – it has.

It looks incredible and seems so much more advanced. The hair profiles are easy to set up (took a bit of trial and error to identify my hair type but got it right in the end), they save the settings too rather than having to set it each time.

They heat up quickly, they straighten in one pass (most the time) and they produce some incredible curls with the right technique. Hair feels so smooth afterwards and I’m not worried nearly as much about causing any damage.

As always, you get what you pay for. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend

Product is of good quality, light and comfortable to hold, smooths the hair in a very beautiful way and lasts for a long time.

Very easy to use. It does heat up really quickly, only takes a little bit of patience to wait for my ideal temp to be reached. To be fair it only takes a few minutes. Important to use heat protection on the hair to be safe. And it does straighten my hair well if on highest setting with couple of glides (I do have thick hair, slightly fizzy).

This product has shortened my straighten time as I only need to do a run through once a second is only need if styling.

Overall this is a good product and a very competitive price.

I’m really impressed with these straighteners! My previous ones I could input my hair texture and change the temperature, but these are so much better, and really allow you to input your exact hair details to get the best results.
They were super simple to set up. When you first turn them on you hold down the on/off button for a few seconds, before it vibrates and the plate lights up with all the settings, and then you simply press each setting until you get the right option for your hair.
For myself, I chose medium texture, medium length (shoulder length) and even though my hair isn’t colour treated, I have dyed it in the past and it is slightly damaged, so the instructions told me to turn this on as well. Then you quickly double press the on/off button and the screen will lock, so you can’t accidentally press anything while in use, and the straighteners will start to heat up to the correct temperature for your hair depending on what details you have input. (see my pictures)
I’m very happy with my results, my hair has a natural wave to it and these straightened my hair without using too much heat and frying it.
Once you are finished using them, you simply double tap the on/off icon to unlock them, before tapping a third time to turn them off. If you had a friend/family member sharing them with different hair (short and fine or long and thick etc) then you can unlock the straighteners and adjust the settings to suit them, before putting your details back in so that the next time you turn them on, they remember your details for quicker heating up.
I’m very happy with them, the only niggle I had is that for the price I would have liked a heat mat included, or a case for easy travelling with them, but otherwise I can’t fault them.

Programmable to your specific hair needs!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersLovely, solid piece of equipment packaged well with very easy to follow instructions. My wife’s hair is very fine, plus she has colour treatments every couple of months. She is extremely cautious about using products that use too much heat or are too harsh. What she has found is that some straightener/stylers do not slide over her hair but seem to tug. This can leave it looking straggly and dry. Not so with this styler. Looks complicated to use but even my wife (who is still a bit of a technophobe) was able to set it easily to suit her hair type. It heated up quickly and she immediately noticed the difference in how it glided over her hair and left it feeling and looking smooth. It remembers your personal setting so does not need to be reset each time. Excellent if you want a refresh. However it can be manually set at a different temperature etc if needed. Only 4 stars because, as good as it is, my wife feels it is very expensive. Not a well known brand and there are less expensive better known brands out there which do as good a job.

A review from the wife… These are gorgeous looking straighteners. The white and rose gold colours are a beautiful combination. I really like the touch design of the buttons. You don’t see any controls when you take these out of the box but when you plug it in, the touch buttons light up. The hair ‘diagnosis’ is a nice touch to these straighteners; you select how coarse and long your hair is and whether it is colour treated and it will automatically set the temperature for you and remembers this every time you start it up. You can choose to manually override this and can choose from 9 heat settings. There is also a ‘refresh’ option which you can use to retouch your hair in subsequent days, after first styling, at a lower temperature. It comes with an auto off after an hour feature. The straightening is easy enough to do; my hair looked very shiny , was super straight and felt smooth after use. The curling wasn’t quite as easy and produced fairly mediocre results; I don’t often use straighteners for curling my hair though so it might well be user error in this! Curling left my hair far drier than straightening though. These are very expensive straighteners; they have however produced superior results to my trusty ghds. They also come in a very slick package which indicates high quality. For such a high price though, it’s a real shame that there is no heat mat or travel carrying case included. The straighteners are multi voltage and can therefore be used across the world in your travels.

For context I still have my GHD straighteners from 15 years ago so these were very technologically advanced in comparison. They feel super premium just from the start, the box and the packaging is lovley, they are weighty but not too much that they are uncomfortable to hold.
I really enjoyed playing around with the different settings, I have quite fine hair but lots of it so I don’t need to heat the hair too much- this is excellent for that, it works really well at smoothing the hair and making it look shiny without overheating the hair. They are expensive but I feel you get what you pay for and when you are using heat on the hair, protection is number one priority!

This flat iron is so quick and easy to use.
I only use it on my fringe as it tends to have a life of its own it just glides over the hair and dosnt leave it looking dried out.
Seems a bit on the dear side but when it does a good job you can’t complain.

I’m not familiar with this brand but goodness me, they deserve to be up there with the big names. These are a thing of wonder – extremely clever technology (I don’t begin to understand it) so even with my hair, which is fine, tends to frizz and is highlighted, I could adjust the settings to get it just right. Took a bit of trial and error but now I know what works for me, it’s saved so much time and effort. And, as these straighteners are quite a narrow design, rather than a paddle style, you can curl or flick the ends under, or create loose waves. Genius stuff, plus the aesthetics are fabulous, these really look sooo good. Stunning styling and stylish to show off – yes, the initial outlay is a bit eye watering but wowser, they’re clever.

Very nice high quality hair straighteners that put some of the other well know brands to shame given the full features that these have, they might be expensive but are no more than other top flight brands, happy to give full five stars and recommend to all, these are going to be a fantastic gift see full pictures to show full details along with easy to read feature & user instructions

I have very fine hair and I don’t use hair straighteners daily because of the damage they can cause to my hair. Taking into account condition of my hair I am very cautious about temperature that I use when I do use hair straighteners. This T3 flat iron is an answer to my prayers, I don’t need to worry about damaging my hair, smart technology chooses the right temperature for my hair type. 9 settings to choose from means this hair tool is suitable for everyone. Very happy with these.
I am impressed with results – my hair felt smooth and looked straight, flat iron glides through my hair easily without catching it. You can also curl your hair with this flat iron, I am not too keen on curls and prefer to wear it straight but it’s good to have that option in case if one day I decide to try different hairstyle.
Overall my opinion is you get what you pay for, this flat iron is definitely a premium product, it looks fabulous and performs really well.

Most flat irons tend to burn my hair or fail to completely get the frizz out, I ordered this fully customizable flat iron as i realized my hair is oily at the top, But dry at the bottom due to highlights and bleaching. This meant that my hair has 2 different types on my head. This adaptable flat iron has settings to adjust hair length, Colour treatment and texture. This has allowed me to adapt this flat iron to every area of my hair that needs a different setting.

This has been a real game changer as i can now evenly straighten or curl all of my hair without damage or under or over heating thanks to the built-in technology. This is the first time i have seen a flat iron with so many options. Overall, Very impressive and up-to-date hair technology.
