About us

In the spring of 1979 a golf equipment salesman named Gary Adams took out a 24,000 loan on his home and founded the TaylorMade Golf Company. He rented a 6,000 square-foot building that at one time housed a television assembly plant. Counting him, there were three employees and a single, innovative product: a 12-degree driver cast of stainless steel. This new metalwood looked and sounded different from a wooden wood, and most important, it performed differently. The clubhead’s perimeter-weighting offered greater forgiveness on mis-hits, while the lower center of gravity made it easier to launch the ball in the air. Adams, the son of a golf professional, was adamant that TaylorMade clubs maintain ties to what true golfers perceived an authentic golf club should look and feel like. They were committed to combining innovation with authenticity, to always be passionate about the game, and pledged to be competitive – to work hard to establish itself and grow. These four tenets would take them far

    Good balls
My husband and son always use these Taylor made balls when playing golf weekly. They are both under 10 handicap and use these balls all the time, they are good quality and go the distance with flight. Have purchased these loads of time and will purchase again. Defo recommend

    Half colourblind
I’ve switched to yellow balls as being half colourblind, I always assumed these would be worse. But actually for my personal eyesight, I can see these much easier than white balls. Good match of softness and length with the ball.

    Taylormade golf balls, Kevin.
These are very good balls, good distance, good spin with the small irons, and can see them with ease in the rough, good price for a golf ball. Delivery very good as usual.

Not as good feel as Callaway Supersof
Usually play with Callaway Supersoft (I’m 24 handicap and don’t want to lose expensive balls that I won’t get the benefit from). I bought these Taylormade balls as they were on offer and seem to offer similar performance aims to the Callaway balls. However, I think I get a bit more distance out of the Callaways and they are also softer round the green. These Taylormade balls feel a bit harder. But they’re OK for the price.

Perfect for a new beginner not looking to spend a fortune on golf balls.
These balls offer great feel off the club and whilst putting. They travel well, and land relatively soft too.

The amount you get for the price makes these a great ball to regularly use on the course and whilst practicing.

    Good distance, land softly.
I’m not a good golfer so maybe this doesn’t apply to everyone. For me, they travel well in the air but don’t run a huge amount on fairways or greens. I lose them a lot, but that’s only when I carry them OB. I’m guessing that’s my fault. Lol.

Are RBZ’s the best ball on the market? No, of course not! Am I the best golfer on the planet? Also, no… So, having what is a good-looking, reasonably durable & decent feeling ball available to me for just over a quid each means that I can hack away to my hearts content – or until I need to buy some more! Perfec

Unsure if seller has 2 types of ball or no
I’ve ordered 2 lots of these balls, one was for a dozen, which came in white boxes marked rbz soft (written on ball) the other for 3 dozen which came in green boxes marked rbz (written on ball).

I’m unable to work out if this is the same ball or not, certainly they have a slightly different appearance to each other, if anything I’d say the rbz soft has a closer resemblance to a premium ball than the rbz, but both claim to be 60 compression.

I’ve tried looking it up but there doesn’t seem to be any information online regarding these balls
