Fabulous Classic!
Did not disappoint! My daughter was off school ill and had not seen this film so in a couple of clicks I had bought it for her and she absolutely loved it. It’s a classic and well worth the 9.99 I paid as she will watch it over and over again.
Great classic tale, bought to replace the video we used to have. Dated attitudes but a product of its time, and the music and choreography (ok, i know they’re not real!) is such fun. “Under the Sea” is one of my favourite Disney tunes with such clever words – worth getting just for that song!
Daughter loved it, especially when Ariel sings. She was very upset to discover girls leave their families (their dads) when they get married (appreciate that it not always the case but here the story goes like that). Ariels’ main passion seems to quickly become getting married.
I am a huge fan of disney’s animated film as this has to be one of the best classical films in my collection. I still remember the film when I was young and the only difference is that this one being digitally restored and remastered happens to have much brighter colours and very sharp sound. The music as in all classical disney films created especially for children is alway very catchy and so easy to remember. This one is a diamond edition which means that as well as the film itself, there are a few extra features such as how the story was developed by disney, deleted scenes and alternative ending that could be of interest to fans of disney animation. There is 1 disc that contains them all but if you want a little more, including interactive games, it is best that you buy the special platinium 2-disc edition, that is available is buy new on Amazon. This one I got works well and the few bonus features are interesting and I enjoyed watching this film very much.
Lots of feel good and no moralistic ending
Wanted to see this having read the original Hans Christian Andersen story to see what Disney did with quite a dark story. Lots of feel good and no moralistic ending. Will pass on to my granddaughter when she’s a little older.
Nostalgic
Bought this for my 4 yr old Granddaughter to watch as my Daughter loved it. It didn’t disappoint, brought back memories. Great film for a family watch. Although my Granddaughter and Grandson were a little scared or Ursula the Ocopus at 1st. Brilliant buy.
Great film, shame about my kids singing
One of the best Disney films IMO, catchy songs but be warned, your ears may not like the sound of a three year old screeching part of your world. Likewise the five year old singing kiss the girl at the local vicar and a passerby might cause some blushes

One of my relatives is collecting the Disney movies on DVD, so this was a gift I purchased. It was very well received.
The Little Mermaid is a Disney classic, if you haven’t seen it, watch it. Fun for children and adults.
Hands down my favourite Disney movie.
Disney just did everything right with this movie; the story, the characters and the music is by far some of the best Disney has ever created.
Not much more needs to be said, keeping it short but sweet, although i do have to say that Ursula is my Queen; she is my inspiration in life!

Little Mermaid story
Great story. I remember watching it on VHS when I was small and now my daughter watches it with me on DVD. She does find the bits with Ursula the sea witch a bit scary but hasn’t resisted watching it a again. This copy came with an interview with the lady that did Aerial’s voice which my daughter thought was really funny.
Aerial rocks
Even though I am all grown up (some people may not agree!) I really enjoyed the film. I used to watch it on video with my 2 young daughters but they are now in their 30’s.
The “old fashioned” cartoon as opposed to Pixar still stands the test of time. The songs are great and the story, of course, is timeless.
I would recommend this for young and old.

We all love DISNEY who can’t it’s such a family thing brings us all together, the songs, animation so life like the kids are so excited when they hear the start, i can’t not buy these films as they get little ones to learn music and brings their voices to life, because of these films my granddaughter’s not shy to sing in the concerts so ye carry on doing what you do best DISNEY.

The grandchildren went to see this in the theatre and thoroughly enjoyed it, unfortunately we had to leave half way through, so this is a surprise for them when they stay, and I play it through a projector on to one of the bedroom walls for them and a good set of surround speakers.

Love this film!
I bought this for my 2 year old daughter because I loved it as a child. I think maybe she is too you g for it because she still favours jungle book and a few others or maybe she just has different taste to me! DVD was perfect and quality was as it should be.
Little mermaid
This has to be my favourite Disney story of all time. I am an adult in my thirties but find I can still watch this over and over again. I especially love the song (Kiss da Girl) which gives me goosebumps everytime I hear it. Of course you can’t beat Sebastian and Under the Sea which gets me moving each time and a smile on my face. Love it!

i have never used amazon or any other kind of online shopping before but with leaving xmas to the last minute, my friend recommended this site and i love it! the dvd came in the post on the right delivery date, in its packaging just as you would purchase from a store. looking forward to all of my other deliveries and future shopping with amazon! my 3 year old sister is going to love this gift!
The Little Mermaid was my favourite Disney film as a child, and I still have the old VHS tape from that time. Sadly, no video recorder to play it on. So, I have patiently waited for Disney to release the film again on DVD and they finally have. I was worried I might not find it as good, watching it again as an adult, but it’s still great. The story seems a little more simplistic to me now, but the quality animation, strong characters and brilliant songs mean that isn’t important. I just enjoyed going for the ride. The new DVD version seems exactly the same as the VHS copy I used to watch, so nothing edited out (which does happen with some re-issues). And, there are DVD extras an adult fan might enjoy (but I don’t think a child would get much out of them, it’s serious ‘making of’ type stuff). Definitely worth getting.

My family and myself loved this cd. The little mermaid. Its one of the best disney newer films you can watch. With Areiel and her fish friend flander seagull and all the sea creatures the grab sebastian and the sequence when they are all singing under the sea. It has all the ingreience of a great family movie. I would recommend this film to all ages. Brilliant.
