Well made, well designed clipper. Very sharp, easy to handle depending how cooperative your hound is.
Once you and your pet have become used to it you’ll save a fortune at the grooming parlour. Recommended.
My dog absolutely hates his nails being clipped, we have to do it one by one whilst he is asleep which is difficult. After trying many clippers I found these and wow! So easy to handle and grip, sharp enough he doesn’t even realise its that quick. Not used the file but overall clippers are fantastic value.
Great Clippers
Very quiet, easy to use. My dog really doesn’t like his feet being touched and these clippers didn’t seem to bother him. The nail file inside the handle is brilliant too.
My dogs HATE having their claws trimmed and it is a horrible ordeal for both myself and the dogs. However, these clippers have made it all so much easier! They are strong and sharp so they go through the claw straight away without any hassle. I have standard dachshunds and these are the perfect size for their claws. Amazing value for money! Would highly recommend to anyone!
Really happy with the product I received. The size is just good to hold in one had. I did have to use 2 hands to cut his nails but he’s a British bulldog so his nails as very thick compared to other dogs. Still cut them well tho , didn’t fill like it was going to break. Won’t lose the nail fill as it stores in the handle. The guide for cutting the dogs nails is good so you do not cut them too short.
I have an extremely nervous rescue, who doesn’t like people but trusts me. I was wary of taking him to a groomer and putting him under added stress. I was also wary of doing his nails myself as I’ve used clippers before and they weren’t very sharp, putting added pressure on the claw. These were great! Sharp and efficient! For 8.99 they have done the job and I can use them again. Only took a small amount off so didn’t make them bleed, so can now use them regularly at no added cost to trim little bits off each week and gradually get them down!

I use it for my large dogs as their nails are strong. Works great on big dogs and is easy to use for small dogs. Personally I don’t like the file but I have an eletric one so it doesn’t bother me.
My dog has really tough black nails, one of which grows crooked. The guard on these nail clippers ensures you can only cut 1-2mm off at a time, so you’ll not accidentally overcut to the quick. It also allows you to clip the nail quickly (useful with a large unco-operative dog) without having to worry about overcutting. The clippers blades are nice and sharp, making it easy to cut through tough nails. Comfortable handles. Overall, a great product.

Excellent quality, nail clipping can be done quite quickly because of the guard on the clipper won’t let you to cut more that you should.

I have a big dog, he’s around 30kg and big black nails. Iv used other sets of these and find I’m straining to get them to cut and this makes the dog flinch. With these a quick squeeze and they cut straight through. The guide is handy to stop his nail from going in to far although I will say this don’t trust that guide as a depth measure cause I nicked the quick and hurt him by using it that way I ended up having to take off tiny amounts every other week to shorten his nails
For larger dogs
I purchased these as they were recommended all over the internet. However I found them terrifying. The distance of the cutting edge from the guard was much, much too wide for my medium (spaniel size) dog and I realised very quickly that I was very likely to cut into her quick. Gone back to my older smaller claw clippers and passed these to a friend with several large breed dogs.
Good clippe
Had to replace our old clippers and I was hoping this will be perfect. Although it’s sharp, it’s still makes a large noise when you clip a nail and my dog hates it.
