5.0 out of 5 stars Good educational toy that's fun too
Bought for my great grandson’s 4th birthday who loves playng with it. Encourages several different functional principles etc
Fun accessory for toy car mad grandso
Smaller than I expected but my three year old grandson will surely enjoy playing with this. We will, however, be looking for the cars under the furniture with a torch.
Amazing
Ace little toy! Gets them thinking about where it’s going which lever/button to use to get it going again. Got one for Xmas but it broke so this was a replacement and glad I did replace
4.0 out of 5 stars Good gif
Smaller than expected with very small pieces. Was a gift so I believe it went down well
Clever battery free toy that requires thinking
I bought this after seeing someone I follow on social media buy one for their children.
I love the idea that it is battery free – no annoying sound effects or upset when the battery needs changing.
The toy is made of plastic and requires an element of assembly and you have to stick the stickers on too. I didn’t mind this but my child was impatient and keen to start playing as soon as I opened the box.
The plastic could be thicker and I worry over time it might snap, but only time will tell.
As another mentions, a key part of the sequence is the helicopter picking up the car below using a built in magnet. The smaller car – the police car, is impossible to pick up as it is shorter in height and you have to physically lift the car to the helicopter. But even the taller cars, like the transporter, require you to really whack the button so the car jumps up to the helicopter.
It’s a really clever toy and requires a lot of thinking from your child. I have two very smart twins aged 2.5 who figured it out quite quickly but it didn’t stop them playing with it for ages. I’ll have to get another as they both squabble over it, and I don’t want it to break.
A much welcome break from tablets and screens.
Fun and interesting
My 4 year old loves it. He enjoys figuring out how to move the cars along. It was easy to assemble and feels quite sturdy. Would work best on a hard surface. Worth the money
Great little toy
Bought for my 3 year old birthday. He absolutely loves it, definitely a great toy to develop reasoning skills and fine motor. His grandad loves it too! Only criticism is the price? But we all know that changes on amazon, maybe i purchased at a bad time!
Bought for my daughter’s 5th birthday after I saw her playing with one at a friend’s house. It’s a simple toy but oddly satisfying watching the cars go round the circuit. The helicopter one is a bit stiff. Not sure how long it will all last but it keeps her occupied for good spells of time.
Brilliant toy that makes a child think logically
Bought for 5 year old grandson. He absolutely loves it. He was reluctant to put it down even when another birthday present was offered! I think he’ll have a lot of pleasure from it. Nice to see a toy that doesn’t need batteries and isn’t electronic!
4.0 out of 5 stars As described.
It was as I expected it to be after reading the description and reviews.
I’ve bought this for my 2.5 yr old grandson (he’s clever) and I know he will love it. I put it together to test that it actually worked (yeah right) and that, once he understood it, he would be able to make the vehicles go round the track.
Once put together (simple) you must make sure you are on a solid flat surface to get the best out of it. It works almost faultlessly. The ‘fault’ is that the lighter vehicles struggle to go first time through some of the obstacles (e.g. the bridge) and you have to open and close the mechanism a number of times at a quicker rate than you would normally to get it to run smoothly. The heavier vehicles (campervan and fire truck) are much better and required no special controlling.
I think my grandson is going to love it and its going to get used a lot.
I can see, with the generous 4 vehicles included, that you could indeed have a number of friends round to play together but, as the overall unit size is small, they could end up being a little on top of one another.
Only thing I’d add to it was a timer which would allow it to be used as a competition.
4.0 out of 5 stars Xmas pressy
I can’t rate this item as its for my grandson and it won’t be opened till xmas
Child loved i
It was a gift for a 4 year old and he absolutely loved it . Wasn’t interested in anything going on around him just wanted to play with this toy . I didn’t give 5 stars as two of the 3 I don’t know and it was irritating to put together . But if I was to score just on how much it was liked I would give it a 10 .
A really great toy
Both my 3 year old and 6 year old love this! It was easy to assemble and the colours are really nice – the overall design is really attractive. We haven’t had it long but it seems durable enough – we haven’t had any problems with it falling apart. Very pleased all round!
Love this toy
This is a great toy for getting your child thinking and problem solving. My 2 1/2 year old was so interested and has spent hours playing with it. So pleased I have bought this.
Fantastic!
My son has just turned two and is currently playing with this toy. He has been playing with it for a couple of hours. My older children enjoyed it to. It arrived quick, is easy to out together and doesn’t need batteries! Very well priced!
Great fun!!
Our 4 year old daughter absolutely loves this. She’s had it for 6 months now and still enjoys playing with it very much! It’s like a more accessible/easy screwball scramble in a way and she loves the little cars.
A lovely produc
This is such a lovely little product. My little one (2) often plays with it. She finds it hard to twist the orange section and it also requires you to bounce one of the buttons for the car to jump to the helicopter. But apart from that, it is very lovely.
We bought this for my 2.5yr old son thinking it would be similar to the Screwball Scramble game but with cars which he loves.
Firstly, this is much smaller than the Tomy game which means it moves alot around when your trying to control it. You need to place it on a carpet or hold it.
Secondly, because of its smaller size the controls are a bit harder to use.. not massively, just a tad more fiddly.
Now the age range for this is 3+ if I remember rightly, so it’s not really suitable for my son just yet. I would agree with this as there is zero hope of my 2.5yr old son managing to work the controls and hold it all still, my 5yr old daughter manages very easily though so at some point between those 2 ages is the sweet spot. My daughter thoroughly enjoys playing with this, it’s something that she can do quietly on her own and as soon as my son has better concentration I know that he will love it too. Its a lovely little game.
