Which bottle teats are compatible with Closer to Nature bottles?
Closer to Nature baby bottles are ONLY compatible with Closer to Nature teats and cannot be used with Advanced Anti-Colic bottle teats.
Which flow rate do I need?
Every baby is different but as a guide we suggest slow flow for 0+months, medium flow for 3+ months and fast flow for 6+ months. As your baby grows and can feed more quickly, you can buy faster flowing replacement teats.
How do I know when to increase the bottle teat flow rate?
The following are all potential signs that you may need to increase the bottle teat flow rate: The bottle teat collapses during feeding; it takes longer than 20 minutes for baby to finish a bottle; baby tugs at the teat; baby falls asleep mid-bottle.
Where should the valve be when feeding my baby?
The valve will work wherever it’s positioned but the best place is at the top, near your baby’s nose.
How do I ensure the built-in anti-colic valve in the teat is venting properly?
When assembling your bottle, hold the teat up to the light to check the slit in the silicone isn’t sealed closed. If it has, pinch it gently with teat tongs to re-open. If the valve has sealed closed, your bottle won’t vent properly.

Lovely bottles
Can’t fault the bottles although my child found the teat too big so something to be aware of. Bottle brush works well. The dummy ring glowing in the dark is a god send

Great starter pack
Bought these to try after finding my original anti colic bottles a bit of a faff when sterilising. These are much easier to use baby has no problems drinking from these and I have already ordered more in the bigger size ready for moving on to!
Good quality
Unfortunately my breastfed baby didn’t get along with this brand but the set was fantastic value (got it for 17) and the bottles were great quality. Bottle brush is good too!
I got this set of feeding bottles for my niece’s first born, although she was intending to breast feed it seemed appropriate and sensible to get a set of bottles instead as being her first born there were no guarantees that she would be able to. Besides at some point she might need to take a break from the natural option if needed.
This set seemed appropriate as you get a nice set of 6 bottles & teat’s, 3 each of 150ml and 260ml along with a ‘soother’ (aka dummy) and a special cleaning brush to keep the bottles and teats perfectly clean.
Quality of the bottles is superb, very nicely constructed and made to last. The teats similarly are of a high quality and are even specially shaped more to mimic the ‘real thing’ and also to provide a slower but constant flow of milk.
The brush provided is perfect for cleaning the bottles prior to sterilisation to make sure that there are no foreign contaminants in the bottles or teats, which naturally is highly important.
As it happens my niece had no issues with breast feeding, however the bottles did come in very useful for feeding her little guy naturally expressed milk when she felt the need to give her body a rest.
Overall a great product at a very reasonable price.
Brilliant but very expensive.
This is an amazing starter set for your newborn child the synthetic teat is very soft and seams easy for a baby to grip onto and drink from.
The set has 6 bottles in various sizes and comes with a very handy cleaning brush that is perfect for these bottles.
My main concern is the price as of writing the set I ordered costs 37.99 which is way too much, perhaps if they were 25.99 it might be seen as more reasonable.
I am very happy with the overall quality of the product, I feel it’s best to buy the bottle set when on sale.

We somewhat with a lack of foresight donated or gave away all our bottles between our first and second child, so having a starter set is very useful to us. This starter set from Tommee Tippee is very nice, featuring a number of bottles (6 in total!) which would make a fantastic starter set for any new parents.
The bottles are incredibly well made, as well as being completely free of BPA and phthalates. Due to their design, not only are they incredibly suited for as natural feed experience as possible for the baby but also very easy to clean. They’re also fully compatible with bottle sterilizes and are both dishwasher and microwave safe.
They’re simply very good bottles with a unisex design so would make a great gift for any mum to be. They’ll certainly so become our go-to bottles so will definitely highly recommend.
