Which bottle teats are compatible with Closer to Nature bottles?
Closer to Nature baby bottles are ONLY compatible with Closer to Nature teats and cannot be used with Advanced Anti-Colic bottle teats.
Which flow rate do I need?
Every baby is different but as a guide we suggest slow flow for 0+months, medium flow for 3+ months and fast flow for 6+ months. As your baby grows and can feed more quickly, you can buy faster flowing replacement teats.
How do I know when to increase the bottle teat flow rate?
The following are all potential signs that you may need to increase the bottle teat flow rate: The bottle teat collapses during feeding; it takes longer than 20 minutes for baby to finish a bottle; baby tugs at the teat; baby falls asleep mid-bottle.
Where should the valve be when feeding my baby?
The valve will work wherever it’s positioned but the best place is at the top, near your baby’s nose.
How do I ensure the built-in anti-colic valve in the teat is venting properly?
When assembling your bottle, hold the teat up to the light to check the slit in the silicone isn’t sealed closed. If it has, pinch it gently with teat tongs to re-open. If the valve has sealed closed, your bottle won’t vent properly.

The best bottles!
Only bottles we use for my daughter. I had these bottles in the newborn size now she’s taking more milk we had to size up and they are just as great. If your like me and just want simple but cute bottles these are it! Only downside is she’s 6m so the teats need changing as they automatically all come with size 1 teats but as expected to size up when they get older.
Great for our bubba
We used the anti colic bottles before these which were great but it ended up being a bit of a faff after a while so we wanted something quicker and easier to sterilise and use. These were perfect. Great for the steam steriliser and for the cold water.

Bought them for a 9 months old baby as we were using the anticolic bottle but they were getting old

The tears are size one in the box so I needed to buy the right one but no default on the bottles ! Very happy

Was in desperate need of new bottles for my baby and local stores were too expensive. Come across these with the option to purchase without the packaging for less money, they ended up being the exact same condition as if they had been shop brought. Should we need more we will definitely purchase again.

Great items and suites baby perfectly. Teats a good flow and the design baby took too. Nice colours so a bit different and add to the feeding journey but isn’t a necessity.
Best I've used
I love tommee tippee bottles and these don’t disappoint. You get 6 bottles in three different colours which are really nice but the actual bottle is still clear with teats and lids that fit really well. I like the shape of these as it is so easy for a baby to hold when they are able to and a a good compact design. The teats are soft and have the anti colic valve which works well just make sure it’s at the top as you’re feeding then the air can escape, the odd time I have just had to tilt the bottle to the side while feeding which then releases the air and the lids fit well to stop leaks. They are very easy to clean and always a good buy, love them.
Good for all four of our babies
Having had tommee tippee bottles with all four of our children now we can honestly say this brand and these bottles have been great. The difference about these particular bottles to the others we’ve owned is the lovely neutral pastel colours they come in. There are six bottles with slow flow teats as standard, size 1. This size has been fine for three of our children but one child preferred the varied flow teats which you can buy separately and are easy to change out. These bottles are very durable and wash well, the oz/ml print and logo can be washed again and again and have never faded or rubbed off. They have a large capacity so will last your baby through to toddlerhood. The anti colic air valve is great and worked wonders for three out of our four children, we found placing the bottles in their mouths with the valve opposite their noses the make these most effective. For our youngest daughter we have also purchased separately the tommee tippee advanced anti colic bottles which I would recommend for babies with particularly bad colic or we are using them as our daughter has bad reflux. These bottles came in very reduced packaging which we were impressed with from an environmental impact stance. Overall we’d highly recommend these bottles, and any of the other items from the tommee tippee range.
