Q: Do these Tomokep 540XL ink cartridges have long shelf time? Can I use them after one year if still in sealed packet?
A: Ink cartridges can be kept in a dry and cool environment for about a year and a half. It is recommended that you use it asap.
Q: Difference in 540 & 541 XL ink cartridges?
A: The only difference is XL version just has more ink inside. Our Tomokep 540/541 is XL version.
Q: What is the solvent for this ink?
A: They are refilled with dye based ink.
Q: Are these garanteed to work as they are remanufactured?

I have used Canon’s own ink in the past but my last few purchases I have used The Tomokep XL cartridges. I am very pleased with the quality of ink and have not noticed a drop off from Canon’s own ink which is great as I can get XL cartridges and save money at the same time.

Good ink, and best of all my printer recognises the cartridges and can monitor the ink levels. This is very unusual in off-brand ink! Have been printing various things with colour like posters and cards and they have all come out clearly with good pigments.
I needed a new supplier as my local Tesco have stopped selling printer ink. Delighted to have found this brand as the quality is far superior to Tesco & equally as good as Canon originals. Will be buying again.

The ink cartridges arrived very quickly. The ink is good quality, I mainly print documents rather than photos and haven’t noticed any difference between this ink and the Cannon ink. My printer identified it as authentic without a problem. I’ll definitely buy it again.
Really good quality ink, used to print programmes for a funeral on double sided photo paper. Got a lot of programmes printed per ink cartridge. A lot cheaper and colour quality was better than branded cartridge!

I am glad that there is XL ink cartridges for my Canon printer. They have been very helpful especially when I have recently printed lots of paperwork. I am also happy that it is compatible with my printer and that I feel that it is money well spent for cartridges this size. It functioned as it should have.
Chose to try this compatible ink after buying Canon brand for years due to a recent hike in their price, and can’t say I notice a difference in the print quality using this cheaper ink. Hopefully this ink lasts as long as the original, but even if it’s a little short, at the cheaper price, it still makes sense to buy this over the branded ink! Very happy so far.
Our branded cartridges seem to run out very quickly, possibly because we don’t print often so they could be drying out. Needed to print something for my daughters homework and realised the ink had dried up and we needed more asap.
These cartridges were not only a bargain but were available on next day delivery. They came next day, loaded without issue and worked as well as the branded ink. The print was clear and dried quickly.
Will be using these moving forward as they are lots cheaper and work just as well.
