An inexpensive crimping tool designed expressly for heat shrink terminals, as such it does not damage the plastic covering and so don’t allow moisture to get into the finished joi

I rewired the electronics for my boat. In the past I always used vice grips to crimp down on the connectors. This tool made that process so much easier and faster. I wish I would have bought one of these years ago.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI love this product.
For many year I struggled and used the $15 all in one tool for stripping and crimping . These were always way expensive at local shops so I did all my car audio work with mediocre tools.

These were a game changer. I was able to get beautiful and STRONG crimps . save time and know that I was doing quality work on my cars. These are one of my favorite tools and I recommend them wholeheartedly.

Looks well made, but the larger dies are a waste since it cannot generate enough force to crimp 6AWG terminals. I have not yet tried it with smaller wire but imagine it should be OK for sizes like 12 and smaller.

Great piece of kit. Comes in a handy case complete with screwdriver to change jaws. Each set of jaws are stored in individual pockets so they don’t get mixed up. An adjustable tensioner gives flexibility for different size crimps.

I was able to do an OE job on my alternator electrical connection for my VW mk3 TDI. I attempted to use standard types of crimpers, but there was no way to crimp something that small without this tool. The only negative thing is you get what you pay for and this is definitely not an OEM vagcom crimping tool. But I was able to finish the job 100% satisfied.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThese were above my expectations. For 25 bucks or whatever it was and having 5 sets of jaws they are really good little pliers. I got a set of these and a couple other pairs of different brands and these seem to have the best jaw alignment of any of them. If you are working with more than one design of crimp I would advise u to buy 2 or 3 pairs so u dont have to stop and switch jaws constantly.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersThe most important thing to note about these crimpers is that they do not come calibrated and will most likely overcrimp the connector if you dont adjust them the first time you use them.

They worked well for what I needed them for, but they arent pro grade, so if you have to use them a lot they’ll probably wear out quickly.

I do like the ratchet feature though, it makes it very easy to tell when it’s properly crimped, and there’s enough leverage to crimp large connectors without much fuss.
