Easy to assemble. Good price for what it is. Decent suction. Gives about 30 mins of hoovering before needing a full charge. 2 suction levels. There are lights on the main suction head, they light up when being used. There is also a light indication to show charge level. Always get insurance! I’m happy with it. Hard floor head attachment very useful as I have all flooring and only a few small rugs.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersDon’t let the lower price put you off, despite costing less than other brands you’re not losing out on performance.

Our usual hoover is a 250 Vax handled model and so this Tower model costs an awful lot less in comparison. On a very superficial level the Tower doesn’t quite look as premium, nor does it feel quite as premium, but it does feel like a solid hover well worth the price.

It’s very lightweight which is great when you’re using it for longer periods. It’s easy to handle, isn’t heavy and so would be good for a lot of people, the drum is 1L which is a decent size and slightly larger than the VAX, which I believe is 0.96L.

The performance is good, at least on par with the Vax, and it does such up pretty much everything and does a really good job with cat hair which is great as we have two that frequently shed. Battery life is great and we can get around our two-bedroom house on a full charge with plenty left over.

There is a solid selection of attachments, though the wall mount is unlikely to ever be used.

Overall it’s a great hoover at a great price and really does give its competitors a run for their money.

I am impressed with the suction power of this vacuum, it works flawlessly on my hard floors and I am happy with the results on carpet too. I would still use my regular vacuum for carpets but I think this is god enough to use as an interim vacuum when I just want to have a quick clean around.

This Tower vacuum is simple to use, you just push button which sets it to low power and a second press sets it to high power. The attachments are simple to change in and out and can be done easily, perfect for someone elderly or less abled. The attachments included are a crevice tool and brush, hard floor and carpet roller as well as an attachment for pet hair.

If you’re looking for an additional vacuum for those quicker or smaller jobs, then this is perfect! It’s light weight, compact and so far has been powerful enough to tackle everything I’ve thrown at it! If you live in a small flat this would probably be good enough to use as a main vacuum, otherwise it is the perfect companion in addition to your regular vacuum. With no cables or wires you can quickly zoom around and make light work of hoovering.

Overall super happy with this vacuum and would highly recommend it!

I really really love this hoover. It’s so easy to use, I really like that I don’t have to keep the button pressed for it to be on. It’s so easy to clean and empty the bin. It’s supper lightweight that it’s amazing to hold. I would definitely recommend

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersHaving two dogs in our home i went for the Tower VL40 Pro Pet as we do have to deal with pet hair but i was actually really impressed with the performance of this vac.
Up until i got this vacuum the only other cordless vac i’ve used was our old Dyson v7 Animal so straight off the bat the bar was set pretty high & i’ll be totally honest i was astonished with how well the VL40 performed in comparison to the V7.
Granted comparing the two vacuum’s side by side you can tell which is the more expensive product but the fact that VL40 Pro Pet is a third of the price just blows my mind as i personally thought it done an amazing job while using it.
We have a carpet mat that the dogs lie on while we’re watching TV which gets covered in dog hair but the VL40 Pro Pet has no issues picking it all up & making it look spotless.

In the box you get a few different attachments & tools as well as the charger & a wall mount.
While its charging there’s three LED indicator lights on the battery to show the charge state.

Overall i was really happy with this product, i personally thought it preformed really well compared our old V7 so the fact it costs just a fraction of our other vac while still offering a high level of performance makes me think this is really good value for money, plus it even comes with a 3year warranty!
The only thing i wasn’t 100% on was the wall mount as the vac is supposed to just rest on top but even with that i still feel it offers a lot of bang for your buck without the hefty price tag of the big named brands.

4.0 out of 5 stars Thought it offered really good performance for a fraction of the costs of the big brands

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI got this so that my wife’s niece could try it out. She has got a small house so doesn’t need a large vacuum cleaner, but with 7 rescue cats, she needed something that is good at picking up hair from the carpet.

This Tower RVL40 Pro Pet is a small, lightweight, handheld vacuum which comes with a good selection of attachments. Having the smaller floor head unit is very helpful for getting into narrower gaps, however it doesn’t swivel so it isn’t ideal. The large head is a good size for stairs and the rest of the house, and has 2 different rollers, one for hardwood and one for carpet – it’s got a really good swivel movement too which makes it almost feel effortless moving it around. There is also a light on the front, so that you can see the dust underneath sofas and beds, etc (you decide if that’s a good thing or not!!).

It’s not too loud and so she was worried that would mean that it wasn’t very powerful, but it definitely picks up the fur. It’s easy to use, the extension pole is a good length and all of the different attachments fix on to it so you can get to pretty much every nook and cranny without having to bend or stoop too much.

There are a couple of down sides, the biggest being the small capacity of the dust tank. Her old handheld vacuum would only need emptying twice for the whole house, but this one almost needs emptying after every room – and it’s not the easiest to empty either, although I’ve yet to find one of this style that is. The hair clumps up around the top of the tank, so you have to dig your fingers in to pull it out. It takes quite a long time to charge, about 3 hours from flat to full – but having said that, you can get pretty much an hours use out of a full charge if you use the lower power setting, and it will still last 20 minutes or so after an hours charge if you need to whizz around quickly.

If you’ve got a small house, or want something small and lightweight that you can use for quick jobs, stairs or your car, and you don’t mind emptying it every 10 minutes, then it’s a great little vacuum. And it definitely works well at picking up pet hair.

4.0 out of 5 stars Light in weight and great for picking up cat hai

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersIt is difficult to review this without comparing it to a model from a much more famous brand which we also own. It is to an extent a clear knockoff but a quite functional one, and of course cheaper, between half and one third of the price of the more famous brand.

It comes well packaged, with all the accessories.

It is lighter than the alternative, but the plastic is also less substantial, so one should be careful not to drop it or knock it too hard while cleaning.
The battery is fine and lasted 30 minutes or so of cleaning. I cannot vouch for the durability of the battery though, because we have not used it long enough yet.
It is also quieter than the alternative, considerably so. This is probably because the motor is not quite as powerful, but to be frank I had no issues with performance, it vacuums well enough on both hard surfaces and carpet, and the integrated rotating brushes work well.
The dust bin is not too hard to open and clean and locks securely in use.
The two EPA filters are effective and I could not smell any dust in the air while using it.

Is it worth compared to the more expensive alternative (which is probably a bit overpriced anyway)?
I think, if you are planning for very intensive use, it might well be.
Of course, with this brand finding spares might be a bit of a problem, so it should be treated gently. But then, a few spares bit for the alternative will cost just like this one.
I would say, if you can find it around the 80 mark (which was the price around the time of ordering) it is a pretty good option and, beign so light, it can be also secured to the back of a door to save space.

5.0 out of 5 stars Lightweight and effective, good for the price but to be treated gently

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThe main floor head does glide over short carpet, a bit too well though on the normal speed setting, some bits on carpet either need going over a few times to collect, or the turbo setting needs to be selected. It’s not to be used on long haired carpets, this is stated twice in the instructions.

It would be nice for the hard floor roller to have its own brush head, rather than having to remove the carpet roller from inside the brush head and attach the hard floor one and vice versa each time.

So fall in love with this vacuum. Vacuum came in really nice packaging with loooots of extra attachments.
Everything works as it should and it is super easy to change all part or just to empty vacuum once its full.
Biuld quality is decent as well for the price.
What i really like that its not super loud. It has 2 power options. Normal and high and to control it theres just 1 button so its very easy.
It is pretty light weight and very nice to control.
Main attachment is very nice on all surfaces even hard floor, it just glides over it and not scratching.
Overall very very like this vacuum! For price its very very good!

5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful and very useful!

Hoover arrived well packed in branded box. It presents very well. It comes with few good quality attachments including a pole, floor nozzle head, holder, 2 slim nozzles and small stairs carpet /sofa nozzle.
Vaccum has enough power to lift pets hair, human hair, dust, dried pieces of food, etc.
The attachments easily connects to the vacum with one press of the button.
We can hang this vaccum on the wall (wall mount included).
Soft roller is desired for hard flooring. We can easily switch between rollers from the main floor head attachment. There is little slider button to pull and side cap will be released, then we can pull the roller out, clean it or replace with soft one.
The vacuum has 2 power mode operated by one button on side of the handle. Operating time will depends on which mode we use so if we use low power, we can vacuum for up to 35minutes but if we use higher power then around 20 minutes we have to complete the cleaning on one battery charge. Vacuum is not very loud, is good for 3bed houses and flats. Battery is a but big and it weights the main handle down as expected. Along with engine and dust bin, all adds up to the total weight.
Vaccum does work well and I’m happy with it. Its worth the price.

I am pretty impressed by this hoover even when it’s not made by that popular brand.
There is few things I like about this vacuum cleaner and few which I would like to change:

    Pros:
    – beautiful looking vacuum cleaner in grey-blue colour
    – have quite few attachments- stairs nozzle, slim long nozzle (crevice tool) and slim shorter nozzle with brush option to slide it away when need just the plastic slim nozzle not brush (called 2in1 crevice brush), main wide floor head, spare soft roller for hard floors.
-main wide vacuuming head have light on everytime we hoover floor, that’s very helpful, makes easier to find crumbs and dirt.
    – comes with one battery
    – comes with 3 pin uk charger, wire connects to back of the battery, there is special hole for charging.
    – vaccum doesnt heats up so quickly like other cheap alternative I used to have.
    – it have pretty good suction and grabs carpet well
    – it’s very easy to switch attachments, press the button and it easily splits apart.
    – hair collecting brush have soft bristles and harder one to lift up dirt from carpet fibres and hair easily wraps around it however we can remove the brush and clean it out of the hair. We also have soft brush attachment included which is good for hard flooring.
    – 150W is reasonable power for handheld corded vacuum at this price range
    – Good size dustbin
-the long pole is lightweight so will jot add much to the total weight of the vacuum.
    – comfortable to manoeuvre

    Cons:
    – a bit heavy to hold because of the battery underneath the handle
    – charging time is 4 hours while vacuuming time is up to 35 minutes on lowest setting. If used more power, the time will be reduced.
    – vaccum “can only be used on short haired carpets because long fibres will damage the system”.
    – the plastic quality is not the best, in some places it looks like there is a crack but that’s the way this pearly grey plastic is moulded.

Thinking about all this above I decided to give it 4 stars, I think it’s good hoover for reasonable price. The number of attachments make life a lot easier.

This was really good compact vacuum. It was lightweight and broke down into smaller pieces for ease of storage. It also came with a handy bracket for the wall so it could be mounted there. It had two strengths for suction. The battery lasted really well and it also came with various attachments for furniture, pets and hard to reach places.

I’ve used many different makes of rechargeable vacuum cleaners in the past, some of which retail for up to 4 times the price of this unit, which makes its fantastic performance all the more impressive. First of all this is a very attractive looking piece of kit, it is modern, lightweight and smartly designed with a nice blue finish. The battery charges up in four hours and then you’re away. Controls are really simple — an on switch which defaults to low power setting, then if you press it again you get to high power. One more press and you switch off.

For my home I find that the low setting gives all the section you need and it’s also amazingly quiet in use. It’s amazing how much dust gets picked up. The dust chamber is a decent size, comparing well to cleaners that cost way more. This is a really great design, and well made. You get the usual attachments for crevices and for upholstery. Everything you need to get going.

UK company as well — what’s not to love. Excellent quality product at a fantastic price.

So my mum has knee problems and finds it hard to hoover, she has one already but it is very heavy and not practical for her.
This Is literally perfect for her!
It is very very lightweight so she dosent struggle picking it up or using it.
Obviously it has abit if weight to it but much lighter than other cordless vacuums.
It has 2 different suction powers min & max.
You can take the battery out to charge or you can leave it in the vacuum.
You can also put this onto the wall as it comes with a wall mount.
The suction isn’t great compared to vaccums I have tried but then they have been a lot more exspensive. So for the price I think the suction is decent and for my mum with disabilities this is perfect for her. It will get her moving and actually be able to hoover herself.
For the price I think it’s worth it, also like that there is just a on button instead of holding down to hoover like the one I have.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis Tower VL40 Pro Pet Cleaner offers a lot for a modest price tag (around 80 at the time of this review) so I was keen to see how it performed. The “out of the box” impression is of a reasonably well-made product and the user guide is clear. The cleaner easily converts from a stick cleaner to a handheld and, apart from the floor head complete with LED lights, you get a pet tool, crevice tool (with on-board storage clip), and hard floor roller. The unit is nice and light to carry.

Charging is easy enough via the UK plugged charger which connects to the battery via a jack-type plug — this arrangement isn’t quite as convenient as a charging stand and the wall mount bracket is a bit feeble. My unit takes 3.5 to 4 hours to charge from flat to full.

Once charged the cleaner offers two speeds and what I think is very respectable suction — both the floor head and pet tool work well picking up plenty of debris from carpets. The floor tool is motorised and lifts most dirt with ease. I think for the price this cleaner offers better suction performance than I expected and I like the LED lights which help to ensure you don’t miss any dirt.

The runtime on battery is a bit less than the quoted 35 minutes but even in a 4-bed house, the 20-25 min runtime is adequate. The battery features a handy charge indicator and there’s a speed indicator too. The dirt canister is easy to remove and clean as are the filters.

I’m pleasantly surprised by the performance of this Tower Vacuum cleaner. I might invest a bit more in the main house vacuum cleaner but this is an ideal model say, for lighter duty upstairs where there is less foot traffic. Overall, really good value and decent performance.

This is a powerful Cordless Vacuum that delivers 35 minutes of continuous run time from a single 4 hour charge. The powerful suction provides consistent airflow and sucks up all the dirt from all floor types. The motorised floor head breaks up the dust and dirt leaving carpets and hard floors clean and fresh. The turbo pet and upholstery brush head effortlessly picks up deeply embedded pet hair so you get a more efficient and deeper clean. Has 2 speed setting to change between a normal and fast speed. Highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a Cordless Vacuum. 5/5

    Vacuum
    Filter filter
    2-in-1 interchangeable brush bar

This is a great little compact vacuum, perfect for small homes or for cleaning cars.

It offers full customisation when it comes to head, pole length & the choice of min & max suction power. I found the suction power to be good, not great, but for small homes & no deeply engrained dirt, works well. There were instances were I had to help bring the dirt to the surface so that the vacuum could deal with it but is rare.

It has a neat light built in which although small, added a bit of brightness when reaching hidden areas. This is something this cordless vacuum is great for, you can practically get level to the floor and get right under furniture with no problems at all. Super flexible.

The dirt is captured and is easily emptied over a bin with a click of a button. Would be good to get a second battery as they are easily interchangeable just incase you need that little bit of extra time.
