I bought a couple of trixie toys of different difficulty and they’ve all been a hit.
On this one the wheel is the best toy. It keeps them engaged longer and as the treats fall out they stop and eat then have to work on spinning it again so it isn’t as quick as the tipping toy.
The tipping toy is a little large for my small dogs, if they try they can shove their noses into the treat cup and lick out the treat instead of tipping it, which defeats the purpose with the toy. However, sitting there with the dogs and teaching them what to do quickly made them realised it was easier (and more fun I think) to tip the little seesaw and have the treat fall out instead of trying to lick it out. But if you have smaller dogs than mine (mine are at around 4kg, not counting the puppy) it might be a bigger issue so something to keep in mind if you’re considering buying this. However, I would still say it’s worth it just for the wheel toy unless you can buy that seperately somewhere.
Brought my dog this for his birthday as he loves he other trixie game, he is not sure about this yet and still trying to work it out.
