No, the Recon 70 is a wired headset and does not need to be charged.

If your computer has a single jack for both headset audio and mic audio, you will be able to plug the headset directly into that single jack. If your computer has separate jacks, you will need a PC Splitter Cable (sold separately).

The headset feels premium and weighty and doesnt feel cheap despite the price, the sound is good however I have not used the mic due to mehaving a seperate usb one
This headset is about what you can expect for its price. It’s good, gets the job done, but it isn’t nearly as good as the much more expensive options. It’s affordable though, so if you’re struggling for cash, but need a headset, this one will do you righ
I have had this headset for a couple months by now and i have no complaints for it. The mic quality is good and ive had no issues with it so far. It has very good sound quality and can hear sound queues left and right clearly. You can also change the volume with the rolling button on the side of the headset and mute your mic by flicking it up which i find very convenient. This is a great headset for its price and does its job well. 5 star produc
This headset was really good. Unfortunately my son broke his mic but he’s had it for well over a year. As he’s snapped a bit of the plastic mic I put in bit as wires were on show
This is a brilliant headset for the price.
I wasn’t expecting much when I ordered it, but I’ve been quite pleasantly surprised.
The audio quality is decent, not too tinny or bassy, and I’ve had zero problems with people being able to hear me, or the quality of my voice.
It won’t blow you away if you’re an audiophile or used to higher end headsets, but if you’re like me and just want a cheap option that’s better for gaming than the soundbar or tv speakers, you can’t go wrong with this one.
I got four a friend and he was surprised and happy of the results and I got the same headset and then it broke in 5-6 years and then I repaired it with heat shrink and it works perfectly fine now
My son asked for these so that he could chat with his friends while playing Xbox. He loves them so far. We’ve had them a few weeks now and they seem fine.
The headphones seem pretty decent for the low price. Sound quality is good, fit is snug and comfortable. Haven’t tested the mic yet. The only issue I have is that the wire is very short – would be no good if gaming from a couch.
With regards to the actual headphones, they are great value for money. Hubby loves them! Can hear everything with good definition, cancels outside noise (either that or he’s just ignoring me) and the mic is a bonus to talk to other gamers too!
All round, a great buy! Would recommend.
I use these headphones all the time in college and for gaming. They’re sturdy, really good quality, and an amazing product especially for the money they cost. No point in buying $60 headphones because these will do just as great. Love this product 10/10
I use plugged into my PS5 controller and the sound quality is great, easy to adjust the volume. The micophone is good quality to, i’ve not had any complaints from the friends I play with. Would 100% recomend for this price.
Maybe 4 star is a little harsh as I am comparing them to my own arctis steel series which were considerably more expensive… For the price and considering they’re for a younger player. They’re great!
I like them. Sound quality is good. Mic is discrete and i have no complaints from my gaming buddies about sound quality, so must be good. These are also comfy even after a few hours of wearing. Job done for the price
Overall a very good heade
Good material, foldability and mic’s power!
Only two cons: you need to manually rotate back the mic if you’d like to mute yourself (I knew it before buying it though) instead of having a button as the Turtle Beach Recon 50P that I previously had. This is a bit complicated while playing, while for the volume regulator even if is at the back, next to the mic, this it’s not too hard to be used.
The other thing I don’t personally like is that after a while your ears will be very warm.
With the budget in mind, this headset had fit in perfectly, so I bought one quickly as I had just broken my previous headset.
When it had arrived, I was surprised by the small factor of the headset, not disappointed, just surprised. Even though the headphones fit perfectly, they are still small compared to the other headsets I’ve owned.(might want to look out for that)
After a few months of usage though, they still work amazing and I’ve had no problems with them so far.
I fully recommend these headphones with anyone who has a small budget in mind.
