2 blades is better than 4. Starts up no bother, very quickly and goes like the clappers! Worth the money. Top quality.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersPositiv: Wrmeverteilung gut. Raumgrsse ca. 37 qm. Aus diesem Grund wurde ein 2. geordert.
Negativ : Der 2. Valiant dreht erheblich langsamer und brauch beim Start ” Fingerhilfe”. Fazit: Alles in allem ein ntzliches Teil, vorausgesetzt man beschftigt sich mit den Testergebnissen.

    Kaufempfehlung!

Really impressed with this fan. Works perfectly and distributes heat.

It’s a big fan and it does move a lot of air for a stove fan. Starts quickly enough and runs silent. We have a 10.5kw stove in a large open plan sitting room/kitchen and it seems to move air well.

I have had a number of similar fans over the years . This one moves more air , it is measurable . Very quiet but early days , very impressed. Potentially vulnerable if knocked or dropped , but so are nearly all the others. A little expensive but worth it , has a decent warranty

I am delighted with the Stove Fan, it has reduced fuel usage and increased overall temperature in my home. It is now customary to have to open both living room doors to expel the excess heat created. I have not had the stove fan long enough to determine whether it is a reliable asset in my home. However, on the basis of its current usage and performance I would recommend this product wholeheartedly.

This does push air around much better than any other fan I’ve used. Once you have the burner going well you can easily feel the breeze from it a number of metres away. Just remember its not a fan heater, its purpose is to move the air around which it does very well.

Heat distribution on top of a wood stove.
We have ours at the back of flew pipe for safety.
The warmth depends how hot is the fire in the stove.

Golden Review Award: 20 From Our UsersIt doesn’t seem like a victory when you light the stove that you said was too powerful for the room and then you melt….. Buy this fan. Yes its more expensive than others and it is significantly taller, but after trying out a few it other, this one really works! It is silent, moves a large amount of hot air through the open door (yes the stove was far too warm even with only one log on it!) and makes the room comfortable. Oh and its far cheaper than a new stove.

I have this fan and a “Big blade” cheaper fan. Both start at the same temperature. This fan give a more directed flow of air – you can feel the air stream it produces, the big blade fan provides a more diffuse, undirected flow. I can’t detect any difference in the room warming capability of each type of fan. Net, net – if you want to feel the blast of warm air, this is the one to go for, if you want to save money, the wide blade fans work just as well.

We have two of these now, this being the “latest” design, the former being an older model. This one takes a lot longer to get going a guess as the blades are bigger..

There is certainly an improved air flow with this fan, the room certainly feels much warmer.
