My sons have always used these they take batteries so don’t let you down in the middle of a trim as rechargeable ones can do,
My grandson tried his dads and liked it for ease of use so I bought it for him to take back with him to UNI he could have a quick shave in the morning I tested it and it worked Wahl razors are good and general have a long lifespan hopefully this will last him.

Noisy, wakes me up way too much if used early, but appears to be powerful and certainly does the job.
What daft definition of “ergonomic” must I use to judge a product like this and, as for battery life, it’ll be a year perhaps before the batteries are all done, some of these review questions can be daft.

When I put batteries in and switch on it was making an awful noise.i stripped the cutting head to find it wasn’t engaging with the blade.once it was out in properly it works perfect.good value item.and a neat tash
What a great product great value
Cheap but they do a great job . Keep having to replace because I lost a few travelling. Keeps my beard tidy and works perfectly . Very happy to recommend . Never had a bad one .

Took this on a 2 year travel trip and it never let me down. Used it for hair and beard. If I was nitpicking I would say the head is a bit too small to use for the head, but given this is a travel item I can’t really complain. Would recommend highly for travelling.

I had the rechargable one which was great for the money but battery needs replacing.
Bought this in the mean time it does the job but it seems under powered.
…let down by the stand – it is a very poor design because some of the attachments don’t fit in the slots especially the large one at the side.
Someone needs to look at the stand design and have another try.
The trimmer is fine, cuts well and comfortably and the attachments work reasonably well.

This is a nice little trimmer, but I wasn’t prepared for how loud it would be, when in use. No chance of use in the en- suite when others are asleep, which is a real shame. Would have thought a company as good as WAHL would have been able to make it a lot quieter, but if the noise is not an issue, then still a great little trimmer…..

I bought this as my previous near identical Wahl battery clippers ceased working after a few years. These new ones are very similar but do seem to be a little less powerful (I have always used decent batteries from the same brand so that cant be the issue). Other than that minor issue which is why I knocked a star off I have been very happy with them and would still look at getting Wahl brand when these inevitably break in a few years.
