Surprisingly interesting
An interesting take on a divas life, how much is true is a different matter but the story is very interesting. A really great movie and I certainly wasn’t expecting it to be that good
I’m always a little sceptical when the studios bring out biopics about famous singers, especially in this case, due to the fact that I wonder whether the lead can do justice to the memory of the subject matter. Boy! I didn’t have to worry about Naomi Ackie’s portrayal of Miss Houston. It blew my mind. This version of the singer’s life shows it warts and all. Brilliant performances all round.
