I am sorry that a lot of people have had problems with their mower!
You do have to put a lot of thought into the laying of the perimeter wire. The first thing to do is lay it out and only anchor it in a few places to get it flat to the ground. Then try the mower with the blades in the up position ie so they cut very little or even with them removed? This will stop you cutting the wire as you check how it will perform on the layout you have set up.
When you are satisfied it is not getting stuck anywhere and is covering the area you want you can then go around with a lawn edger or spade to make a cut in the lawn and bury the wire. Only by trial and error will you get it right, I have adjusted mine slightly this year after it ran all last year.
I am extremely pleased with mine and it works very well on my back 200sqm lawn I would buy another for the front but a bit concerned that it might get nicked! I summing up the app works but could be a bit more intuitive and the mower I would not be without now!
Great piece of equipment and does what it says on the box. WIFI would not connect the app on my phone to the mower and after contacting customer support, identified there was a fault with it and suggested either return for refund or exchange, as the amazon supplier had none they offered to collect it FOC for repair, brilliant service from yardforce support.
Still would buy again as brilliant pie e of kit, much happier watching someone else do the work whilst I drink the glass of wine.
After buying a Robotic Vacuum Cleaner, this was a product I had to buy. No regrets whatsoever.
Well packaged and all accessories are supplied. What I like about this is that you can control it via the App but also use the control panel on the Mower. Very straightforward and easy to operate.
We had it setup and running within 30 mins and since then it’s been mowing away at its programmed schedule.
This model is sufficient for our medium garden and is capable of tackling a larger one too. Having the rain sensor is great as it goes Home to the charging base when rain is detected – two terminals on the top which trigger it.
After sales support is very good and they get back fairly quickly.
The only thing missing was a cover over the charge-station. Yard Force sell one for around 100 but it did not want to spend that much and built my own using treated plywood – does the job.
Overall very satisfied with the product, brand and tech support.
Robot mowers are great, but do your research and check it can do what you want it to do.
The product is fine when I finally got it. Amazon delivered the wrong model TWICE. This resulted in me having duplicate charges on my credit card. Fortunately, these were resolved without me getting any additional card charges and I did eventually receive the correct model.
Great product it works great you won’t be disappointed with this the only problem I’m having is I can’t get the app to work but still trying
