First, the only way the dog will take them is with a little cheese. No great dramatic ettect, certainly doesn’t put them to sleep, on the other hand doesn’t hurt them either .
Good size tablet, easy to administer and seams to work for my dog.
She has been much improved since taking these on a daily basis.
Just about to finish our second box and our 11 month old still has the same traits we hoped would have been solved with these tablets. Gonna try one more round and then will haveto try another produc
The old dog sleeps all night when she has Yucalm which is wonderful for us! She is less stressed when we leave her too. We are so happy to have found these tablets.
Not sure if these are helping my rescue greyhound who is very stressful.
Her fear of people and travelling has not improved and I am on the second box.
She seems more settled in the home, but then she is probably adapting to home life now.
I know it can take months even year or more for her to adapt ( I have had retired greyhounds for years now)
But I have never had one who is so fearful and stressful. Having used yumove for years, with great success for previous greyhounds in their older years, i thought these would help her.
But sadly cant see any difference.
However when we went into shops she did not even make a sound so that was a great success but I think I am only only going to give her half a tablets and try that so she can at least jump in the car with ease otherwise these are the only thing that has worked.
(factor that in when considering costs long term etc). The dog is much less reactive to dogs who approach her now and 4 months on we are doing great with an extra bit of desensitisation work. I give the tablets (full dose) in the morning, not sure if it makes a difference or not, manufacturer doesn’t make any recommendations. I’m continuing with these tablets long term as they seem to be doing the trick without sedating. Terrier owners will perhaps understand the inherent nature to move from. 0-100mph in a split second. These perhaps dumb it down to 0-60mph in a split second!
Weve only been using them for a week, but there’s a change in my dog who reacts to fireworks. He obvs doesnt like them, but he isn’t barking when he hears them. Ive only got him on 1 tablet per day (split over his 2 meals), and for his weight, he can have double that dose. I might give him a little more in the run up to bonfire night.
My other dog is very reactive on walks. I havent noticed any change with him yet, but its early days.
I marked down on value for money a little, as they’re cheaper on Yucalm’s website at the moment. Ive ordered some more, and they arrived within 24hrs
