First, the only way the dog will take them is with a little cheese. No great dramatic ettect, certainly doesn’t put them to sleep, on the other hand doesn’t hurt them either .

Good size tablet, easy to administer and seams to work for my dog.
She has been much improved since taking these on a daily basis.

Just about to finish our second box and our 11 month old still has the same traits we hoped would have been solved with these tablets. Gonna try one more round and then will haveto try another produc

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersWe started giving these tablets to our dog recently as he had become anxious and edgy. We’re using these alongside other remedies, so difficult to pinpoint which is/are having the most effect, but we’ll continue with them. Our dog, who is normally very good at taking tablets (he has a YouMove joint care tablet in his breakfast every morning), assiduously removed the calming care tablet each morning, so I presume he’s not keen on the taste, but we crush it and mix it into his food and that does the trick.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersMy dog has been taking these for 2 weeks she has certainly calmed down she has a lot of issues due to her being a rescue she’s an x breeder from a puppy farm. She never really settled but now she is coming on leaps and bounds. She now sleeps downstairs with our other dog (so many might issues a can’t even start) would recommend

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersI’ve ordered these before and they’re great. Although these particular tablets have slightly different coloured tablets included in the same packet? So far, so good. Only marked 4 out of 5 because of the differing colours of tablets. Can’t comment on flavour or comfort as such as I’m not the one taking. I crush up with chicken as I have a fussy eater at the best of times. Would recommend none the less.

4.0 out of 5 stars Works just fine

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our UsersWe adopted a very nervous and abused young greyhound 7 months ago. I was a bit sceptical about trying these but after reading the reviews and doing a bit of research about the ingredients, there did seem to be science behind these. I really do think they helped take the edge off her anxiety while we have worked on building her confidence..took a couple of weeks and we upped her dose to 3 tablets a day for a short time but she was definitely not as skittish or nervous. As an accompaniment to desensitisation training and confidence building, they’re definitely worth a go if you have a nervous dog. She’s still taking 2 a day as she is still worried about some men but she’s genuinely like a different dog to the shut-down, frightened hound we brought home. The ONLY downside is that our dog doesn’t like the taste of them but we solved that problem by hitting the blister pack with a hammer to crush the tablets into smaller bits and then sprinkle in her food!

Golden Review Award: 13 From Our UsersThese really seem to have made a difference tor my dog who is grieving the loss of his best fur friend. He was very sad for months and not eating as well as usual. From starting these tablets he seemed to perk up and it running for his food again. I will say though they must taste awful as I have to force him to eat them. But for me it is completely worth it for the difference they have made for him.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersWe have an old dog with dementia symptoms and a nervous dog too. The older one will eat the tablets crushed in yoghurt, but the other dog will not eat them no matter how we disguise them (liver paste usually works with other tablets) which is a shame.
The old dog sleeps all night when she has Yucalm which is wonderful for us! She is less stressed when we leave her too. We are so happy to have found these tablets.

Golden Review Award: 19 From Our UsersOur vet recommended but did say it may take a little longer to work than some other prescription medication. The benefit of this product is that its natural, no nasties. Overall its a great product, we nearly gave up using it after a month but I’m so glad we didn’t. It took 6 weeks before we saw a difference and now 3 months in our Collie is so much calmer. She doesn’t like the tablet so we crush it up and put it in a small amount of pate, cream cheese or peanut butter. Its taking the edge off her reactiveness to noise, which was horrendous ! Every car door closing and knock at the door she would be up barking. Whilst she still does this sometimes it much more controllable. We didn’t realise how much is was effecting us all. If it works for your dog its a god send but I guess it may not work for all dogs which is a shame as its expensive to try if it doesn’t work. I waited till it was on an offer and now get it with money off every two months. We highly recommend giving it a go and are happy to have a calmer dog, but would not recommend if you need a quick fix for something like bonfire night, it may be better to get something else from your vet.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI purchased this after reading reviews as I have a five year old Rough Collie who is very worried with fireworks and thunder, then 3 years ago we lost one of our other Rough Collies who was 13 years old and since then Mia has been suffering from separation anxiety , every time we took her out with us shopping she would bark and cry like a baby if one of us went into a shop also if we went out of the door just for a few minutes she would bark all the time , we had tried all different things to help her but nothing worked., when I saw these and read reviews I thought they would be worth a go,I started her on 1 tablet as she is affected by some tablets so I thought start with a low dose , good job I did as she was very sleepy and when she went to get in the car she had not got the jump in her where she usually jumps in well.
However when we went into shops she did not even make a sound so that was a great success but I think I am only only going to give her half a tablets and try that so she can at least jump in the car with ease otherwise these are the only thing that has worked.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI have been using these tablets on my Belgium Sheppard as we are moving home and I have care staff come in to help me twice a day and they all changed recently so she had a new routine to get used to. She is crate trained but had been stressed when new people were coming in panting excessively and shaking I spoke to my vet who suggested trying these as I was already using the dap collar and dap defuser (made by adaptil the collar and plug in defuser give off the hormones of a bitch with pups and it had helped to calm her) they had both worked well but her anxiety was still present in the crate BUT not anymore she has been on them for the past few weeks along with the dap products and it’s a massive improvement she is happy again to go in her crate and no longer panting excessively or shaking it was the change in my routine that upset her and I have been advised to keep her on them until after I have moved to help her adjust. She is an excellent dog I’m disabled in an electric wheelchair she assists me and is trained to walk with the chair it’s just that due covid lockdowns the number of people she saw was less and this stress behaviour started but now she is so much better back to her old self. It can take a few weeks for the tablets to take effect but they work and I totally recommend using the adaptil dap collar and defuser combined with the yucalm she will stay on them now until after I have moved and got her settled in our new home.

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersWe brought this based on other reviews for our elderly jackie Missy who is 18 and displaying signs of doggie dementia; pacing around the house almost constantly until she is exhausted and sleeps for short intervals, panting and restless about 4-5 am, they arrived yesterday I gave 1/2 a tablet which I cut in 2 with a pill cutter so 2 x 1/4s and put in a chicken fridge raider bite, munched successfully and although it takes 2 weeks to build up in the system, I saw a definite improvement with regards to less pacing and more rest from the first dose. I already use senior dog Yumove for her and my other 15 yr old westie which certainly helps their mobility as they both have arthritis so I trust the brand. The second purpose for buying is for my 15yr old westie Bobby who is a rescue and cannot cope with getting claws clipped at the groomers, so will build up for 2 weeks then take him to get claws clipped as was unsuccessful last visit due to stress, the third use was for my 7 yr old toy fox terrier Bella who gets stressed out by Missy’s pacing, and staring, as Missy has limited vision due to cataracts and is deaf cannot read doggie communications which stresses out Bella as Missy gravitates towards Bella and stops her pacing only to stare at Bella almost nose to nose! So Judging by the results seen from 2 doses now for all dogs I have high hopes that Missy becomes more settled, Bobby can get nails clipped, and in Missy being calmer it can help Bella be more settled as less reactive to Missy as she does love her but cant cope with the staring lol. It is excellent value as using for all 3, and consider it an investment for all 3 dogs well being going forward. Happy dogs, happy owners, hopefully win win.

Golden Review Award: 79 From Our UsersI was advised by my vet to try Yucalm tablet as for a while my dog had been displaying signs of doggie dementia – he would wake up during the night panting, pacing, anxious, scared and not responding at all to us trying to calm him down – initially this would happen now and again during the night but also sometimes in the day time. The dementia episodes increased to nearly every evening and other times during the day. I took a video when he was having a dementia episode and showed it to the vet who suggested Yucalm ( 1 per day for his weight of 11kilo) For my dog the dementia episodes stopped immediately after taking the 1st Yucalm tablet – it was great to see him back to his old self, eyes brighter no longer vacant looking. After 7 weeks of no dementia episodes he had to have his nails clipped at the vets – always a disturbing even for my dog due to the vet not on purpose making his nails bleed – after having his nails clipped he was so distressed unfortunately he started his Dementia Episodes again even after taking 1 x Yucalm tablet. I contacted the vet who said give him 2 x Yucalm daily (the vet said it was safe to increase the dose) plus give him another natural tablet Zylkene once daily 225mg for his weight. Since increasing the Yucalm tablet to 2 per day (1 morning 1 evening) and giving him a Zylkene tablet just before bed – my dog is back to normal again. He is a lot happier and being a dog again. I would suggest to anybody who’s dog is experiencing the same symptoms to try these tablets.
