My cousin was looking for a tap & die set, I looked at several and read reviews but this one read very well for the price, it’s only for the home workshop enthusiasts, but does the job well if used with correct cutting oil.
My cousin said he is very pleased with it
And would reccomended
Hasta ahora lo que he usado, un macho y una terraja parecen de calidad.
Pero el embalaje (la maletita de transporte) muy malo. El plstico no sujeta la mayora de las piezas, sobre todo las pequeas as q cada vez q abres la maleta est todo revuelto.
Por otro lado, me da la impresin de que parece que en cualquier momento la maleta se va a abrir y se me va a caer todo al suelo.
Le doy 4 estrellas porque el producto en s (que es lo importante) se ve de buena calidad, pero tienen que prestar atencin al embalaje/transporte tambin.
This is decent product & i am sure i will get good use out of it. Only issue was one of the closing clips does’nt clip shut & a flimsy bit of rough cut paper inside that does’nt keep the bits in their place so ensure you store the case flat.
Always thought this was for the specialist tradesman but it’s easy enough.
Fixed a lawnmower and rebuilt a wood burning stove with this. I’m a novice and have never used a tap and die before. Learnt to use it via YouTube.
This set is ideal for cleaning up threads, I don’t know what it would be like cutting new threads as I’ve never had to do that yet. Excellent value for money for the hobby mechanic.

I’ve only used one of the taps and it worked very well
Haven’t tried it yet but looks good enough to do the job
