I’ve always used the traditional flammable cubes but these twists of wood fibre are very effective and ignite kindling quickly

I’ll keep buying these – light easily, burn for ages, no weird flavour off them, tons in a box for a good price etc. What’s not to like?

Last long enough to get your kindling alight one is usually sufficient if on dry kindling.
Always use these types of firestarters to light my log burner. These seem to burn a lot longer and more compact so work really well. They don’t brake up as much as others I’ve tried.
Bought these instead of my usual fire lighters as noticed they were weren’t made with chemicals. Only needed a couple to get the bbq going so seem a decent alternative based on first use.
