I use these along with an infra red blaster to automate some decorations with home assistant.
The first thing I’d say is that the button cells provided aren’t the best, and it’s worth getting some quality cells to replace them.
I’ve found that the sensitivity of the infrared reception drops when the battery gets low.
Inside you’ll find only 2 components, the led and the ir receiver. I’m guessing the ir receiver has a chip inside to generate the flickering effect and timer functions.
All in all these are very handy and great value
These look good inside ceramic houses ..at Christmas.
The feedback I read before buying mentioned a timer function and the instruction leaflet showed a remote control, but these lights have neither.
As battery tea lights they seem good…I will see how long they last.
So pleased with this 12pc set, ordered just hoping for some decent’ish remote tea lights.
Extremely happy with this set. Did not expect to have 2,4,6,8 HR timer plus candle flicker or just light choice, plus dimmer to brighten or lower. Fantastic. Would recommend. 5* product, considering I wasn’t expecting much as the reviews & pictures I looked at just had basic on/off remote.
Super little product for my craft project, lights and flickers well. Lost one star because the light is a yellow, I would have preferred a blue/white but that is just my taste not to take away from their quality.
Bought to be used with another product. Only used one of the twelve so far, works perfectly fine.

Loved these inside high sided candle holders but the casing is too white to use as standard t lights in low sided holders.
I am very pleased with these. The battery life seems good so far and they are easy to turn on and off. The glow is warm and similar brightness to a real tea light. I love the little random flickers which mimic the light of real flames. Viewed through a translucent tea light holder you might even be fooled. I doesn’t bother me that there is no remote control as I want to turn them off and on individually.
These are good quality and easy to use lights. I use them all the time as much safer than real tea lights and last much longer! Next time I’ll buy the ones with the remote control which will make them even easer to switch on and off!
Although I love these timed tea lights they just don’t last that long
These are a great alternative to real candles, they last a long time and give off a lovely warm glow. Last a long time too.
i read the reviews before buying these and have to say they are a really good buy, i use to buy tea lights for my pumpkins and had to keep going out constantly to relight them, so this year i have gone for these which when tried in the pumpkins that we have just carved look great and are bright enough, i have found no problems with the switches on the bottom and the batteries seem ok and none were broke all well packaged.
And after halloween will use them in my christmas decorations then in my windows for candle mass in Feb, although i have a feeling i may have to change the batteries by then which seems easy to do, so i would say they are a bargain for the price and the replacement batteries for these are also cheap to buy so that is also a plus.
