Box is different design but still same Company.
Dislike the dusty blue powder from the back of the jigsaw where its been cut but good quailty jigsaws not dusty.
Love it…so far so good as long as no pieces missing.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fab

I bought one as a Christmas stocking filler but my other daughter liked it so I bought another one for her
Good quality board not too difficult but interesting to see the old sweets

I bought this for a friend for Christmas who is a jigsaw pro. In her words ” One of the best jigsaws I’ve done for a while. The picture was very challenging and took me longer than usual.”

A good jigsaw to do. Fairly easy. Picture is a bit pixalated in the top left hand corner but still enjoyed doing it & good to reminisce over the old packaging

The puzzle arrived without a “picture”, so initially we were very disappointed as we could not do the puzzle without a picture to guide us, so my initial rating was 1-star. The seller contacted Gibsons (the manufacturer) and managed to get a picture sent to us by post direct from Gibsons (thank you), so now we can do the puzzle! I originally awarded a 1-star rating and then got a barage of emails from the seller complaining about 1-star and asking me to change my rating, and now that the problem has been resolved I am giving 4-stars, but I personally will not buy anything from this seller again.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI bought this jigsaw for my 13yr old at Christmas. It was very well received. We spent about a week completing it together, which was fun. It has been a real talking point for visitors who saw it at various stages, and I enjoyed recalling the ‘old sweets’ it depicts.
I did experience a crisis when I accidentally hoovered up one piece! I had to tear open the hoover dust bag and sieve through it with my hands, being guided by the torchlight from my mobile phone haha. What fun! Glad I made the effort though, as without the piece, it would have spoilt the overall final effect.

Great item. I purchased this for my dad who was born early 70s. He just had to look at the front and he got nostalgic! His mother (my grandmother) turned it over and got a small preview of the 50s and 60s sweet memories jigsaw which made her equally as nostalgic. It provoked a lot of conversation. I may as well have just bought an empty box! Has LOTS and lots of 80s sweets to marvel at and it’s about a 6/10 difficulty level. A very good gift for a brilliant price and I am very happy with it. It is also equally as good a gift to buy yourself.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersGot this as a present for my (30-year-old) brother who usually plays computer games and is too cool for jigsaws, but always does one at our parents’ house over Christmas. Just as he thought he was going to have to crack open a county cottage scene, he opened this present, and was thrilled. It’s not too tough due to the pattern and only 1000 pieces, no endless sky, but there are enough pieces and purple bits to require a bit of thought and challenge.
