The lava rocks for my table fire pit are fantastic. They retain and radiate heat effectively, creating a cozy ambiance. The rocks are aesthetically pleasing and add a natural touch to the setup. Easy to arrange and maintain, they enhance the fire pit experience. Highly recommended for any fire pit!
Lava rock
Lava rock is quite difficult to find in France, but I bought from Amazon. Two bags is just enough to fill the gas BBQ (I converted it to lava rock and it cooks fantastic) when the coals get nice and hot, turn off the gas, wait 6 -8 minutes, then cook with lid closed.
5.0 out of 5 stars It’s perfec
I liked the fact that the item came early, pleased with the quality and delivery
Perfec
Bought these lava rocks for my gas BBQ.
To replace old ones.
Purchased before from same seller a few years ago, purely for the look. Suns out bbq out.
Just the right size, a few large rocks but not an issue. Easy to break down.
Would buy again.
Fast delivery
Thanks

5.0 out of 5 stars Larva rocka
These are good value for money only wanted them for decoration of my fire pit. Probably won’t lite it till next year now but a good buy.
Good sized lava rocks for BBQ
I wanted to replace the lava stones for this bbq season and these didn’t disappoint. Good sized and shaped lava stones that filled my medium sized bbq with a few to spare.
So far they’ve been great and have been easy to cook on.
4.0 out of 5 stars Is what it is
You get a decent amount in bag it is exactly what it is
Never used Lava Rocks before until I was told to use them by a friend. So glad he told me. Rocks spreads the heat around the Barbecue evenly. So very pleased when I didn’t burn anything. Very happy.
Heat sink for smoke
Got these to replace the water in my smokers water pan for better control. Hold their heat well once hot.
Packaging had fallen part inside the amazon bag so was bit of a mess
4.0 out of 5 stars Replaces old Lava Rock for bbq.
Just the job for my bbq, replace of old Lava rock
Grea
Purchased for use in our outdoor (propane fuelled) fire, couldn’t be happier just what we wanted. They glow after the fire has been lit for a while and emit quite a good amount of heat. Our family love sitting around the fire, the addition of the coals has made it perfect even on chilly evenings.
Other half is VERY happy with these
Purchased for other half’s gas barbecue. Perfect for our needs and gives our BBQs that Smokey BBQ flavour with the convenience of gas. Arrived very quickly and great value for money. Great for our needs. Chunkier than the other BBQ lava rocks we have purchased meaning they don’t slip through the grill.
I used this as a filter media, not a BBQ product so my review reflects that. Very good as a filter media for aquariums or in a shower filter for koi ponds and certainly compares to Bakki house media.
Unlike a media like ‘Biohome’ the structure does not lend itself to anaerobic bacteria support but it is excellent for aerobic bacteria (to convert ammonia to nitrite, nitrite to nitrate) If lots is used and flow rate is reduced then an anaerobic bacteria support is possible so I rate these rocks highly as a DIY filter media and they will last for many years unlike the very expensive ceramic tubes sold by koi outlets which are extremely brittle and wear very quickly.
See attached video clip of a DIY shower filter I made for a recent upload on my Youtube channel which showed how to make a shower filter for your pond.
