I put this up after drinking a lot on a night out. Did it in about 10 minutes.

However, I followed the measuring instructions upon ordering and found that it was considerably too long. Will order the small one next time.

The whole placement process was easy peasy. There were no issues with it and the fact that we can close and open out windows as we please, without needing to take it off is a plus.
It does keep the bugs and hot air so ther is not much to say about i

This Air Conditioner really cools the room down, just what I needed during the hot summer months. Fitting the seal around the window was a bit tricky, I would suggest watching the video which I found very useful.

Fiddly install. Took me 3 hours and I had to redo it because the instructions were not clear. YouTube videos apply to a different type of window. My windows are the new security windows so the sleeve gets in the way of the locks and has to be pulled away from the locks when opening and closing the window. It also cannot be attached around the hinges. My window measures 360cm all around. The 400cm version of the sleeve somehow still needed another20cm in length to cover the circumference? On the whole I wouldn’t do it for another window. Too much stress. Easier to just leave the AC hose out the door!

4.0 out of 5 stars Took ages to apply.

I am happy with the product. It was quite a quick install. Some of the buyers wrote that there is not enough velcro tape but in my case, it was more than 50cm more than what I ordered. Maybe they took the feedback from previous customers into account and corrected that issue. I haven’t fully tested it with my air conditioner, because right now the weather is good enough that I don’t have to. Anyway, I recommend the product based on the experience I had so far. Good value for money. Oh, it looks much better than my insulation made of blankets before I got this. Will update if something goes wrong. Oh, measure the window as the seller suggests, because you will not get extra centimetres of the actual seal. I hope it will help some of you to make the decision.

We have only been using it this summer but it was easy to fit, easy to use and works well.

Someone has obviously thought about the practicalities of using it as you can open the zip in two places so you can zip up around your hose and also open the zip in a seperate place to use your window handle to open/close the window.

You can easily close your window without having to remove the seal as it just folds up as you close the window although it your that bothered it only attached with velcro so you can remove it if you think it looks bad.

Reading reviews for multiple products i did see a regular issue with all these kits which we have encountered which is near the hot air exhaust the sticky parts seem to detach occasionaly but we this only seems to happen if you have it taught and they have always just stuck back on for us at the moment.

Whether this works long term.i.e. we can reuse it next year we will have to see but it seems fine at the moment.

If you don’t mind a bit of ugly to get the most out of your AC this summer then go for it. It works! You can remove easily and stick back up as it’s Velcro!

It simply ‘does was it says on the tin’. My windows open inwards. The set up with self adhesive velcro tape is easy enough. The cover with corresponding integral velcro tape is then easy enough to fit and remove as necessary.

It was easy enough to fit And it’s easy enough to take the cove

I purchased this for my mobile aircon unit, for the exhaust to go out of the window and it works very well. I thought it was going to be difficult to put up, but it was very simple, tricky as well, but very easy and fitted well to the window, velcro seems to stick well, worth every penny. 10/10

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersPerfect for the job, used the instructions to measure up before ordering size and while it doesn’t fit 100% it certainly does the job and means I can have the aircon on now without losing it out the window and also keeping the bugs out. Only criticism is having to stick it to the frame but that is just the design I guess.

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant bit of kit for the money but it’s a shame it has to be stuck to the frame.

If you have or are getting home Aircon. You need this!

To both connect you window pipe to, and maybe more importantly to stop all the bugs coming in when you have that window open all night.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersAll in all, this is a good enough product. However, the magic tape used to seal the window all the way around is not long enough to encompass the window twice. Hence 2 stars for installation, as I have to purchase more magic tape.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersVery easy to stick on the sticky back velcro to the window just cut with scissors accordingly. I have it on for 3 days straight so let’s see how it goes during this heatwave. So far so good would defo recommend.

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our UsersJust to add an update: it has been several days since installed and have definitely noticed a difference in A/C ability to cool room. Also, it has remained in place since installation which I initially was concerned about. Although instructions are difficult to understand, it is cleaning of the window frame which would seem to me to be the more most important thing, otherwise it will not stay up! This took me a lot of time to do, as did sticking the Velcro correctly to the window frame so that it would not pull away with the weight of the A/C hose.
Otherwise, it is okay and hasn’t come down yet, considering this week was very hot days and nights. So, the take home message from me is to clean your window very carefully, take time to get Velcro to adhere well, pressing it into place with a tea towel works well and to support the weight of the hose on the window sill with something like a couple of books to take the weight of the hose of the installation. It doesn’t look pretty but this isn’t a beauty contest.

Golden Review Award: 25 From Our UsersWith the heatwave last month, the portable aircon unit has been a godsend however due to having vertical opening windows, sticking the pipe out meant a lot of gap for heat to come back in … even the heat it is trying to extract.

This was my third screen/curtain for the window having messed up the first two due to bad design/instructions. This was perfect. The right (and more) amount of velcro meant no faffing with measuring too accurately and unlike the last 2 from different sellers, this actually stayed on the window frame without falling off.

The good thing is with it on, you can still open/close the windows so I’ve left it up even though the pipe is not out/machine not on and probably will leave it on for next year too.

The key takeaway is it did what I wanted it to do…bring down the overall temp of the room and not bring the hot air it is extracting back in – it did this perfectly bringing down the overall temp down by 5 degrees at the highest but averaging out to be around 3c less.
When the air con is not in use, the window can still be left open with the screen in-place allowing cool air to come in without all the bugs that usually slip in too.

A simple contraption with a whole load of good results!
