Good variety of settings.
The height adjustability is good.
The pole that allows height adjustment is plastic, which made me question due the the weight it is carrying. That said, I have owned this fan for a few months and it is working well.
I’d bought one of these for my elderly parents.
We’d never seen a twin bladed fan before and it definitely seems to make a difference.
We both have hot & cold dyson fans and both agree that the hot air function is great but the cold fan is a useless waste of time. You could blow air from your mouth stronger than a dyson fan.
Save your money and get yourself ones of these. The U.K. summers seem to be getting hotter and this has been a god send for 2 houses this yea
Bought this to replace a defective junky fan I bought from 1Above which became defective within 4 days. This can has more weight, sturdiness and seems more substantial m recommended. Although it was extremely easy to assemble it took an effort to unpack it.
I adore this fan and the remote control makes it so easy to use, and with the weather we are having and not to mention my hot flashes through menapuse it’s been a god send. Would buy again without hesitation.
This is the first new fan I have bought in years and it is amazing. I want to order another one. It’s nice and quiet, even while sleeping, and circulates cool air around the room. We have only had it on the 1st setting – the higher ones are a bit louder – but we haven’t needed to have it any higher for now. We got a black one, which looks nice. Would highly recommend.
I had to purchase a new fan when my brand one suddenly broke. I decided to buy the Amazon basics one due to good reviews.
I am finding it more powerful than my previous one and also it is good that the lights go out after a couple of minutes. I use the fan at night and I prefer it without lights.

It was well packaged in the box, was easy to assemble, only took a few minutes.
It is quite powerful, yet not particularly noisy. The controls are clearly marked, and easy operate, and the remote control makes it even easier. The “beep” each time you use any of the controls, both manually or with the remote control, can be mildly annoying, but it is not an issue to me.
You can get similar fans for a cheaper price, with names I have never heard of. but I chose this one because of the Amazon name.
That said once together the fan is great. Each function is useful. The remote is simple to use. We were cool very quickly.
The packaging arrived intact.
The product was reasonably simple to assemble. It took a little thinking and trial and error to separate the two parts of the shell before assembling the shell + blades.
The power cable is too short – it needs to be at least a metre longer.
The remote control is effective. It takes two AA batteries which were not included in the packaging.
There is a less than helpful piece of advice included in the instructions for use – ‘store in a cool and dry place awat from children and pets, ideally in orginal packaging’. The product will not fit in the original packaging once assembled!
I have not checked what fuse is fitted to the 13-amp plug but the instructions for replacement say to use a 13A fuse (for a device claimed to consume only 28 watts). Why? At most a 5A fuse should be used – a 2A fuse would be better.
There was a video online showing difficulty in assembling the small fan blade – this is because the screw fitting is the opposite to expected (but it does work).
I would have given five star but dropped down to four as the first thing I had ro do was glue a broken base as seen in one photo. But that is my only complaint as somewhere from being sent out to delivery box got bashed and fan base damaged, otherwise it is really brilliant and would recommend.
This Fan is amazing! I have used it at night on one of its lowest settings, so no noise at all, and it has cooled me as if it was a natural breeze – so gentle! No sound, bo feeling of being blasted by a fan. Just gentle, comfortable sleep!!
If you want the faster settings for rapid cooling, it has that, but I did not realise that the gentle cooling this provides was so efficient.
Highly recommend.
My only gripe is it forgets your settings and defaults back to “Low speed” and “No oscillation” whenever you press Off/On from either the main unit or the remote.
It’s bit meh especially if you have a preference for how you use it e.g. Oscillate + Max speed. It’s still connected to power so they defo could have tried to preserve your settings.
Also the remote is IR based instead of RF, so you do have point it at the main unit.
This is just a minor wrinkle and overall I’m happy.

But we like them because of the base, flat weighted, so no fear of us or the dogs tripping over them.
Also, it’s a nice size fan, with 3 speeds and different modes. One is like the breeze moving through trees.
I even recommended them to my 90+ friend who needed a new fan ready for Summer.
She too likes the base, she can’t see well and fell over the normal style fan base several times last year.
The only thing that could do with an upgrade is the remote. I’m taking one of mine to her as hers doesn’t want to work, even though we’ve changed the batteries.
She’s finding it hard to press the buttons and for it to respond. She has bad arthritis in her fingers. But I’ve told her and written in BIG letters in the instruction book, how to use the buttons on the fan itself.
But I’ll recommend these fans, in black, white ones are more expensive.
So so quiet on the lower setting, I snore louder than this fan that’s for sure so guessing that’s a real good description of how quiet this fan is.
I am not being blown away, the low levels are a gentle breeze no need to glue or tie down your precious objects, pets and children… and wonderful, higher levels are just as good , just remember to remove objects, pets and children as don’t recommend gluing or tying those down either haha,
Not at all loud even on higher tornado settings
oscillating is nice and smooth, no juddering like a wrongly loaded washing machine.
Base is heavy so no need for weighting down and fan stays in the same place.
Not too keen on the remote but it’s basic and will do it’s job, shame its so ugly,
They took a decent style fan, plastered Amazon advertising right in the centre of it just in case we forgot where we purchased it from I am guessing, was hoping it might have been a sticker but alas, not the case still purchase with that on was my choice so no down vote on that.
Cons… Was not cheap
On the plus side the remote works great although my TV keeps detecting when I press a button on it and my TV remote causes the display on the fan to light up but they don’t actually interfere with each other or actually do anything like changing modes. The wind from the fan is great and it’s not really that loud which surprised me as my old fan was louder and sometimes caused me to have issues sleeping but this one is the perfect loudness to hear it but still be able to fall asleep without issue. Timer works great too I just wish I didn’t wake up as soon as the fan turns off lol. The only thing that gets me is the modes which don’t really make much sense, having the fan on full power for a few seconds then turning it off before going back to full power doesn’t make sense to me and feels very odd so I never use those.
