This was bought for 10 year old grandson and a small pond he has built. Great little solar fountain. Worked will panel in partial shade. In full sun the water lifts well. Grandson easily worked out how to get it set up. Only hitch was finding something to support the solar panel. Will have to see if it has a long life.
Received on the day expected. really easy to part together. I’ve put the solar panel on a stick so it gets good sunlight but I did have to figure out how I would keep the panel there as it does not come with any fixing points so I used cable ties. Fountain it’s self works really well but does need the holes in the attachment clearing often due to the size of the holes even the smallest of bits affect the flow. Still super happy with it .
Good value, pumps water very easily, even when sun isn’t as bright. Only downside is there is no holder/spike to put it in ground. I secured it to an old spike. Works great.
If you don’t need a hose, great pump.
Easy to set up and what I like with this is you can actually move the solar panel in a much sunny spot whereas the previous solar fountain I had was built in so when went to the side of the pond it would stop working due to some plants nearby.
The installation was a breeze – I didn’t even have to break a sweat (which is saying something, because I’m not exactly the most handy person). And the 1.2m water pipe is the perfect length to allow for flexibility in placement. I’ve used it in my bird bath and fish tank with great success, but it’s versatile enough to be used in a garden pond too.
The 2.5W solar power water pump is impressively strong for its size, and the upgrade in the 2022 model is definitely noticeable. The water flow is consistent and strong, even on cloudy days. And let’s be real, there’s something incredibly soothing about the sound of running water in your garden. It’s like having your own personal Zen oasis.

This goes in an old animal trough, through a pipe as a water feature with plants and makes a lovely sound that even our neighbours have commented on. The birds and other insects drink from it. It’s a lovely addition bringing life, tranquility & movement to our garden; all powered for free by the sun.
(Only works, of course, when the sun is out – but we expected that – in summer it’s on most of the day and even works when slightly dull if not completely overcast).
used for small water fountain where original pump had stopped working.I connected on arrival and found it was just right and solar panel is excellent.It has been working continues since then.Would buy it again.
Only 2 negatives – one is that it clogs easily and it would also be nice to have a mounting bracket of some sort on the solar panel
Other than that it’s fantastic value for money and it’s beautiful therapeutic to sit and listen to it. The birds seem to love the 2nd one we bought and installed in their bird bath

Improvements would be features to allow fitting the solar panels, e.g. loops or holes for cable ties and an adapter to allow the extension pipe to be easily attached at both ends: resorted to boiling water and a taper to expand the pipe. The photo shows the unfinished job …
There is no bracket or stand for the panel. Just leaning the panel against something is simply no good, it has to be angled at the sun to get the best flow from the pump.
If you are quite handy, at cobbling something together for a panel support as I did, then this pump kit is fine for a small water feature.
