Amazing
Bought 2 of these because I was sick of carrying cables and bulky powerbanks. The design is slim and nice but the device does not charge with a 30w power adapter so it does take time to charge up. Haven’t had an issue with it charging my phone as it by nature charges the phone attached to it at 7.5w
The perfect size
This charger is excellent as an on-the-go powerbank to take out for the day. The main reason being the size. It’s very slim, thinner and smaller than most phones. As a result it’s really easy to carry around in a pocket or bag, unlike traditional bulky power banks.
It’s quite low capacity so I wasn’t expecting the world, and it charges my phone to my expectations from a % point of view. Only reason it is 4* is because it charges quite slowly.
What a spectacular addition to my Apple ecosystem! Perhaps needless to say, I now get a full day out of my iPhone 13, no matter how much I’m using the camera, location services, video playback and a bright display for reading. I’ve only had the battery for a week now, but there was only one time when at the end of the day the phone’s battery was below 80%. It’s still a shock to me to see the battery indicator showing 100% all day long as it slowly drains the Anker. All well integrated.
What I didn’t expect is that I have found no reason to ever remove the battery. It fits comfortably in my front pocket with the battery on, my phone balances very well in my hand, even better than without the battery. I find curling my index finger around the top of the battery gives me a sense of stability in every situation. Already adapted to it, now when holding my phone without the battery I worry I might drop it. I charge the pair each night with a USB-C cable via the battery, which itself charges the phone. I literally never remove the battery.
I’m glad I got the 5000 mAmp version because it’s small enough to keep on the phone all the time and still does exactly what I need. I’m also glad I got the one without the little stand as I wouldn’t want to add a millimeter to the thickness, and I don’t want to risk any resistance while sliding in and out of my pocket. Without the stand, the 621 version is sleek.
I could resist knocking together a wooden stand for the battery that works a treat in landscape mode for videos. Here it is waiting to be mated to its companion.
What a great purchase.
Arrived on time and good first impressions
Arrived on time and item appears as described. Not had a chance to fully test this but as with previous Anker products appears to be straightforward and good build quality.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great, compact charge
Great colour. Great price. Adheres strongly to iPhone 14 pro max.
The best portable charge
I really didn’t want to spend the 90 apple charges for their version and then I came across this is honestly amazing and it works k
On the iPhone 12 aswell which is doesn’t advertise
4.0 out of 5 stars Spare battery
Gives plenty off charge when needed especially when on holiday so I would recommend
Lacks a bit of umph
I purchased this just to have a backup plan while traveling around. It serves its purpose well.
However the heat it produces is considerable, and because of this loss of energy, it doesn’t charge the device as high as you expect it too. In fact I think Anker state that it looses up to 30% in heat and other losses.
But it is still useful so just buy a bigger, wired one if you want some serious power.
A must.
This charger is fantastic for anyone with an Iphone 12 or higher.
First of all, the color is beautiful! I picked the purple and its a pastel shade which is so nice to have rather than all the black/white options in tech these days.
Charge is great and is rechargeable with USB-C which just makes so. Much. SENSE! Tech giants, take note; people want USB-C charge ports, NOT Micro USB/Mini USB.
When I opened the packaging( which again, well done) I thought No way can it be this tiny!
So light, so small. A must! Also, it works through a silicone case perfectly, but cannot comment on if you have a hard plastic or thicker case.
Yes, it’s more expensive than the unbranded ones, but don’t save yourself a few quid and regret it.
Get this!
A little price but works seemlessly
This a great little power bank. It works seemlessly with MagSafe compatible iPhones. Just attach it to the back and it’ll start to omit a charge. It’s sleek and seemingly well designed. A bit pricey for such a simple product but much better value than the official Apple MagSafe charger.
Perfect for what I needed !
This charges quickly (about an hour or so) & is so handy for travelling as it’s small and compact 🙂 doesn’t take long to charge the charger back either which is a win! Very pleased
I find this item very handy for when moving around and not being able to charge. The only issue is how hot it gets, I’m just concerned about the battery blowing from over heat.
Very good product. Highly recommended
The charger works great with fast charging speeds as well as a smooth connection with the phone and the charger. However the charger does tend to get very hot when on charge for a long period of time which can damage both the phone and the charger. The battery is also ok but not amazing, charges my iPhone 12 Pro Max to about 90% on one full charge.
Very compact and easy to use. Gets quite hot when I charge my iPhone 13 Pro max, so that’s not great.
This isn’t ideal for my iPhone 12 Mini as it slightly overhangs, but I was aware that it didn’t quote my phone on the blurb but was happy for the compromise as it is sleeker than many others on the market and it does do the job intended. I am due to do some international travel which is designed for the very purpose in topping up my phone whilst on the move when I haven’t access to charging my phone.
It very clean and smooth ergonomic designed and as my phone is black blends well, the official Apple MagSafe battery is white which is ridiculous and far more expensive. Added to that, I have other Anker battery packs and find them to be made very well and do the job.

Gets a bit hot I’ve read the reviews and yea
It’s compact and neat. It’s easy to use. But . It doesn’t quite charge my iPhone 14 max. And there’s the problem when travelling. Unless you can get near a power source the pack only provides a limited re-charge. Also, you have to assume that it turns itself off on charging. No ‘on-off’ button just an ‘on’ button.
All said, it is one of the best on the market from what I can see.
Good.
Very good. Slim.
Sticks out on the bottom if used w iphone 13mini but not awkward to hold the phone with it on. Slimmer and rounder than esr.
Takes forever to charge the battery itself.
Gets very warm.
I did a lot of researching for this before buying. I looked online as well as on YouTube. I narrowed it down to the Apple MagSafe (too expensive), the Anker 622 (I wouldn’t really ever use the kick stand) and the Anker 633 (much more powerful, but too bulky and I wouldn’t really need to utilise the power it offers).
I really like the slimline design of the 621 and the magnets are strong enough to keep it on the phone with no problem. I like the way that you can have it plugged in whilst using it and it charges both the battery pack and the phone. It will be great for travelling and holidays. It comes from a well established company and has a nice design. Fully recommended.
