I’ve printed 3kgs of this stuff, it’s great.
However it’s definitely NOT “Odorless” the smell is there and noticeable. I print in my kitchen and the smell spreads throughout the apartment.
Other than that it’s a great resin for miniatures, it’s relative bendable so the minis don’t shatter or snap easily, that said, they’ll still shatter if you drop them on hard surfaces if cured.
I recently tested uncured models instead (washed thoroughly of course ) and they works great, super tough and shatterproof even when dropped from table. My hopes are that the primer will seal the resin so it doesn’t leak out over time.
I’d give the resin 5/5 star if it wasn’t for the smell..
Premire impression sur ma Photon Ultra DLP, aucun souci particulier, paramtres de base propos par le slicer utilis par Anycubic. Odeur prononce, mais j’imagine que c’est normal, a reste de la rsine, portez VIDEMMENT les protections adquates pour vos impressions !

La resina si presenta un po’ vetrosa rispetto a quelle tradizionali, La qualit di stampa ottima anche se utilizzata su stampanti 4K, i particolari anche pi piccoli sono riprodotti fedelmente.
Unici difetti sono la durezza della resina che al momento del distacco pu portare alla rottura delle parti pi piccole perch bisogna esercita una discreta forza per poterla togliere dal piatto; altro difetto: non vero che inodore, non riscontrato alcuna differenza rispetto alle altre sintetiche.
Il rapporto qualit prezzo la rende ideale per chi deve fare stampe anche voluminose e non vuole spendere molto. In generale la consiglio positivamente.
RACCOMANDO solo di prender la grigia e non la bianca. Quest’ultima lascia dei residui elevatissimi che possono rovinare le stampe successive.
Das Resin stinkt tatchlich nicht so heftig wie die normalen Harze. Das ist ein groer Vorteil, auch wenn ich denke, dass die Luft nicht weniger belastet ist. Man riecht es halt nur nicht so sehr. Aber im Umgang mit Harz ist eh Sicherheit geht vor, also lieber Maske auf!
Die Haftung an der Magnetplate ist ausgezeichnet, auch mit der Druckqualitt bin ich sehr zufrieden. Ich werde das Harz ab jetzt immer benutzen, ist schon angenehmer zu verarbeiten!
Great product for my project. This product exudes far less fumes than the other non plant based liquids. Well pleased with the results.

45% biodegradable. Do not compost! Truly degradable resins do not exist yet. This is also un-recyclable. Certain companies can re-purpose it, that’s as recyclable as it gets.
Not specific to this brand. Is all ‘eco’ resins.
Prints great, smell is minimal, great printable resin. Great except an eco lie.

Granted, I’m no expert (a beginner at resin printing) and I am, at present, printing smaller things this stuff seems to last forever and the prints, once I got it mostly right, are very good.
I use this for printing D&D miniatures, the details come out clear and clean, provided you’ve dialed in your printer settings.
The smell isn’t too pungent but still wear a correctly rated mask and nitrile gloves when using. The prints are not the most durable and have had smaller things break pretty easily but considering the price of each print compared to buying miniatures it’s still well worth it.
Cannot fault this resin at all, it is good quality and has a perfect finish once you get all the settings correct and have tweaked everything.
The colour is the basic grey undercoat colour you would find so makes it ideal for painting models.
Price is a little steep but with the situations at the moment it is worth it and works perfectly.
Ottima resina plant based. Da quando l’ho provata non l’ho pi cambiata. Non puzza (troppo), facile da usare, solidifica bene, si attacca bene alla base, (relativamente) resistente. Per risultati perfetti, consiglio di aumentare di un 10% circa il tempo per i singoli strati – io sono passato dai 2 secondi della resina standard ai 2,2 di questa. In realt funzionava anche con i 2 secondi, ma mi capitata qualche stampa fallita. Con 2,2 secondi non ne ha mai fallita nemmeno una.
Images attached are printed with the resin, the light makes it look a different colour but its a nice shiny grey perfect for miniatures. They are 25mm miniatures and my phone isn’t great but on closer inspection the details are really good, supports come off easily once soaked in a bit of hot water, my usual method.
I haven’t changed any settings from the regularl Anycubic resin i use (not plant based stuff), it does say the plant based is soybean and no VOC’s – there still is a smell, its a strange smell, but definitely there but not overpowering and chemically like a few other resins i’ve tried.
Great value at 55 for 2kg of resin, i can’t quite understand why the option labelled ‘UV resin’ is 7 more the plant based stuff, but if the other one is the standard Anycubic resin (looks like it from the bottles) then i’d pick which ever was the cheapest if i’m totally honest as i can’t tell the difference in prints. I could however tell which one was in the vat by the smell, different smells but the standard UV one lingers a lot longer after printing in my room at least and even with venitilation.
The container is black resin – it printed clear.
Besides that though it looks great!
Utilis sur une Creality LD-002H avec des couches en 0,03.
Dans l’ensemble une bonne rsine, les impressions sortent bien, la couleur noir est mat. L’odeur n’est pas trop forte.
Le seule bmol est la difficult pour nettoyer les impressions avec l’alcool IPA, il en faut une bonne quantit.
Je retourne sur de la rsine Waterwashable de la mme marque.
Once it was exposed to the air, it wouldn’t die out until the next day. Even with a big open window, fan and giant-a$$ air purifier. I stopped using it and purchased a few of the Anycubic EC resins. Started with transparent green, and was shocked in not only the great results, but the odor was even lower than I expected. You have to stick your face next an exposed vat to smell anything.
Opened up the pink the next day, and again, great results, though I have to say, the odor on this one was a bit stronger, but still nothing like that water washable. Finally, I started using the EC White tonight, and wow, even less odor than the translucent green. In fact, of all the resins so far, this has the least smell. Printed up a Michelangelo sculpture, and it turns out kind of a bone whit and looks like it was purchased at a museum gift shop. I mean, it looks like porcelain! Can’t wait to try the clear next, but hope Anycubic brings out more colors!
The smell is much less strong, but I do recommend fumes extraction nevertheless – breathing in resin is super dangerous if done for a long time. My settings are : 6 seconds exposure, 8 bottom layers 80 seconds. Prints come out perfect, 5 seconds gives a tad more detail, but the prints tend to fail and droop more ofte
I have used one and a half litres of this already in the short period I have owned a resin printer, there is almost no odour (I had to have my nose within 15 centimetres just to notice the smell). I have printed in white, grey and transparent and the quality on all is amazing.
I thought i would go eco route for the resin of my anycubic as the smell on normal resin is very high. this is remarkably alot less smelly. I am also impressed by the quality of the prints this produces.
Used on a Prusa SL1 for 0.035 layer height printing. Produced excellent level of detail. (I tried a print at 0.025 and the difference was virtually impossible to see. 18 mini’s in 3 batches later and the SL1 loved this resin. No issues at all. For reference, I used 8 Sec Exposure, 40 seconds first layer.
As for odour there is some, but much reduced compared to any other resins I have used. I’d say a good 80% reduction in unpleasant smells.
That said, there is nothing on the bottle that states it is low-odour so i can’t be sure I’ve got the right resin. Perhaps it says so on the box but I threw that away as soon as I recieved it.
Ich habe als relativer Neuling im 3D Druckbereich mit dem Photon S Drucker angefangen und probiere aus, in wie weit Teilbereiche der Zahntechnik mit solchen gnstigen Druckern nutzbar sind. Gerade in dem D Druckbereich sind schnelle Forstschnitte in der Technik zu verzeichnen und ein mehrere tausend Euro teurer Drucker schnell veraltet.
Deshalb dachte ich mir erst einmal Erfahrungen mit solch einem gnstigen Drucker zu machen .
Inzwischen habe ich schon einiges mit dem Drucker umsetzen und ausprobieren knnen und auch schon mehrere
verschiedene Resine ausprobiert.
Dabei sind die meisten um einiges teurer als dieses Resin. Und hufig riechen sie auch unangenehm.
Das war dann auch ein Grund einmal dieses Resin auf Sojal Basis zu testen.
Ich muss sagen ich bin wirklich angenehm berrascht von diesem Resin. Es riecht wirklich kaum, was schon
Grund genug wre es weiterhin zu kaufen wenn die anderen Eigenschaften nicht zu schlecht sind.
Aber auch hier kann das Produkt mehr als berzeugen.
Was die Exposer Zeiten bei meinem Phonton S angeht liegen andere Resine in der Regel bei 11 bis 13 Sekunden. Das schnellste was ich bis jetzt hatte lag bei 6,5 Sekunden. Das war ein transparentes Resin und die hrteten bis
jetzt immer schneller als die farblichen Resine.
Aber dieses graue Resin braucht bei mir nur 5 Sekunden als Exposer pro Layer bei einer Auflsung von 0,05 mm.
Wirklich beeindruckend. Da das Resin direkt nach dem Drucken noch relativ weich ist, hatte ich zunchst einige Fehldrucke, bei denen schon die Basis der Supports gerne an der FEP Folie hngen geblieben waren. Ich Empfehle
deshalb die Bodenexploser Time auf 80-85 Sekunden einzustellen. Dann hatte ich keine Fehldrucke mehr und selbst kleinste Teile werden gedruckt. Der Testwrfel den ich mir erstellt hatte um die Schrumpfung zu testen hat ein Ma vom 1cm Kantenlnge und die Wnde sind nur 0,69mm stark. Die Supports dementsprechend noch etwas dnner und dieses Objekt habe ich ohne Fehler drucken knnen.
Und das letzte Argument das fr das Resin spricht ist seine geringe Schrumpf. Mit den angegebenen Exposer Zeiten und Layerdicke von 0,05mm ist der Wrfel nach dem Ausdrucken genauso gro wie das konstruierte Objekt im Computer. Also Schrumpfung bei meinem Drucker und der Gre des Objektes gleich 0.
Wie gesagt ist das Objekt bei solch dnnen Wnden wie der Testwrfel weicher als bei meinen anderen Resinen, aber nach einem Nachhrten im einer ensprechenden UV Gert wie dem Wash & Cure von Anycubic z. B. ist die Hrte wieder mit anderen Resinen vergleichbar .
Fr mich eine klare Kaufempfehlung.
Excellent quality resin, little to no odour very easy to use. Being non-toxic and biodegradable has no affect on the quality of prints. Very impressed.
Den Anycubic Photon habe ich mir zugelegt, weil ich teilweise bei Drucken im winzigen Mastab, teilweise auch H0, auch einfach noch ordentliche Druckergebnisse haben mchte. Und da kommen PLA Modelle m.E. einfach an Ihre Grenzen. Und Resin spielt hier seine Strken aus.
Was fllt auf im Vergleich zum “normalen”, herkmmlichen Resin auf?
Verpackt und aufbewahrt wird auch das “Plant Based Resin” in den hochwertigen Verschlusscontainern, die man von den blichen Anycubic Resins auch kennt. UV verschlossen lassen sich die Harze hier problemlos auch lnger lagern. Wichtig ist, dass sie hin und wieder, insbesondere aber vor dem nchsten Druck, gut geschttelt werden, um etwaigen Ablagerungen vorzubeugen.
Das Eco Resin (ich habe die Farbe schwarz gekauft) hat nach dem Schtteln hervorragende Flusseigenschaften. Es verteilt sich mhelos und sehr eben in der Alu Schale des Printers. Kleine Blschen vom Schtteln bilden sich schnell zurck, stellen aber ohnehin keine Probleme beim Drucken dar.
Wichtig ist, wie immer, das sorgfltige Leveln des Druckbettes. Danach kann man direkt starten. Ich habe mittlerweile in der letzten Woche ber 100 kleine und kleinste Objekte gedruckt. Ich hatte von Anfang an nicht einen einzigen Fehldruck.
Das Resin hlt perfekt am Druckbett und lsst sich doch problemlos einfach ablsen. Dabei sind die Objekte vor dem Aushrten bei Sonnenlicht noch sehr elastisch, deutlich elastischer als bei herkmmlichen Resin. Das empfinde ich aber als sehr angenehm. Nach dem Bad in Isopropanol hrten bei mir die Modelle bei Tageslicht aus. Eine UV Lampe macht das Ganze sicherlich noch besser, aber ich bin zufrieden.
Der Detailgrad der Drucke, ich habe unterschiedliche Objekte, die im Netz kostenlos verfgbar sind, sowie einige eigene Modell gedruckt, ist absolut hervorragend. Die Parkuhr im Bildhintergrund zum Beispiel ist etwa 22mm hoch; die Parkscheibe ist dennoch sehr gut ausgebildet und detailliert erkennbar. Der Leuchter im Vordergrund ist lediglich 12mm hoch und die einzelnen Arme unterhalb der Kerze haben einen Durchmesser von 0,6mm. Wahnsinn!
Durch das gute Flussverhalten des Resin luft es von den Modellen auch prima ab, was das Waschen noch einmal deutlich erleichtert und auch die Ergiebigkeit erhht. Angesichts der Kosten finde ich das sehr wichtig. Natrlich gibt es berschuss, der bei jedem Druck verloren geht, aber das liegt einfach am Druckprozess.
Der fr mich grte Vorteil, und ich war hier wirklich sehr skeptisch, ist die Frage des Geruches. Anycubic wirbt mit deutlich niedrigerem Geruch im Vergleich zu herkmmlichen Resin. Gewhnlich drucke ich Resin auerhalb des Hauses in meinem Werkraum, dort ist extrem gut gelftet. Da ich den Resin Geruch sonst wirklich sehr strend finde, ich bin da wirklich empfindlich, war ich echt berrascht ber das neue Resin. Zwar ist Geruch bemerkbar, aber derart minimal, dass es wirklich eine Freude ist. Vorbei ist die Zeit des stechenden oder beienden Geruches in der Nase. Ich bin wirklich berwltigt. Das htte ich keinesfalls erwartet.
Und das ist fr mich auch das entscheidenste Kaufkriterium. Hier liefert das Produkt voll ab.
Auch wenn es etwas teurer ist, als herkmmliches Resin, werde ich in Zukunft nur noch zum Plant Based Resin greifen. Es verbindet alle Vorteile herkmmlicher Harze mit dem unschlagbaren Vorteil des verminderten Geruchs. Und das sind mir ein paar Eure mehr dann doch wert.
Ich hoffe, dass der Preis vielleicht im Laufe der Zeit etwas fllt, das wrde das Harz noch attraktiver machen. So oder so ist es fr mich aber eine absolute Kaufempehlung. Toll!
