Easy to apply but hard to cut even with the supplied cutter..but still loved it as it keeps all the flies from coming into the window especially at nigh

I’ve bought this item 3 times now for 3 different windows and it’s always worked perfectly. I even took it abroad with me when I lived abroad and the netting kept out some pretty big spiders! Worth buying for sure.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersIt was a little bit fiddly to put up but was worth it as it does the job! I can have my windows open and be confident that a little critter won’t fly into my home. I didn’t have enough adhesive to cover all the windows but the customer service was fantastic! They was quick to respond and resolve my issue. I was sent some more adhesive tape which I really appreciate. I haven’t had any problems with the adhesive velcro not sticking just make sure you clean the area thoroughly and make sure the area is dry before you apply it.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersInstructions are clear even when they are not really required.
You even get a little tool for better adhesion to tape.
You get the double-sided tape, 1 side has little spikes that grip to the net and another side like any other tape sticky for you to put on your window.
But working with this tape is annoying as it does not keep itself in a loop and tries to run away from your hands 🙂

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersTough material, easy to place on, and the velcro clings to anything. Only one piece is needed as it has supper strong sticky side to it and the plastic velcro part is see through too and easily attaches to mesh. It’s easy to adjust too.

The product does exactly what it says, its enough to go for 2 windows and maybe more depending on the size, I had fairly standard size single windows.
The cutters wasn’t that good but I used scissors instead and that worked great.
Haven’t had any insects in the room when I left the window open overnight so its pretty reliable.
The product is fairly simple to use but the instructions could be a bit more clear even though I don’t think you really need them.

The heatwave in 2022. I had to open windows. But it also let in knats and other insects. Bought this and it works. Lift the net to open window seal net back and its so nice to have fresh air and cool breeze without mosquitos biting you at night.
Will be buying more to do other windows

The rest of this order looks great but sadly there was no velcro tape included in the package, so I can’t install this.
Also unsure as to why I have 2 cutting tools in there.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWe brought these to keep our kitten from going out the bedroom window! It was easy to fit (window was the size of the material) and has worked wonders! Loved the email from supplier to ensure we understood the instructions! Thank you!

Golden Review Award: 26 From Our UsersAs an arachnophobic I would refuse to open my window even in 32 degree heat so I bought this mesh net and it does the job well. The velcro tape was very strong, sticky and easy to apply. The harder part for me was getting the net on even and spread out straight. My windows are huge so maybe smaller windows wouldn’t have this problem. The net just hooks / sticks onto the tape but be careful using your fingers as I ended up with scraped finger tips from pressing down the net. It does come with a tool to do this but it didn’t work for me, I could have been using it wrong I guess. The finished result looks good and tidy, it doesn’t block out light or fresh air. It’s a bit wrinkled in places which is down to my installation but I’m not fussed as it allows me to enjoy a summer night breeze without the panic of creepy crawlies inhabiting my room

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWe have some near by trees which drop a load of “fluff” at this time of year an it gets everywhere, I wanted something I could put across my open window which would prevent it from coming in – and this worked perfectly.

The instructions were easy to follow, the adhesive tap hasn’t peeled off or presented any other problems. I didn’t use the included cutting tool, instead opting for scissors which worked well.

The mesh is quite fine and has trapped the problematic fluff but also prevente quite a few small insects from flying in, including moths (which I hate)… so now I can sit here on an evening with my laptop illuminating the room, have the window open so as not to melt, and not be savagely attacked by moths or have a kilo of fluff go up my sniffer … perfect! Would recommend.

We bought one of these for our bedroom window as we have two kittens who aren’t allowed out yet and the room was stifling. All our windows are outward opening so we had to stick the Velcro and the screen onto the window frame, over the handle. This means we have to peel back the Velcro, open the window, then stick the Velcro back. It’s not as bad as it sounds cos we bought two more. They are a brilliant idea and we have found them highly effective. Very happy with the result.

Asolutely love this product. Can’t believe how it saved me from spiders! I couldn’t leave my window open because of spiders and insects. But since I installed this mesh I leave the door open for all day long.
Although I think there’s room to improve the mesh quality.

A very simple tool which works to maximum effect. I have these on all my windows and they stop any bugs from coming in while still letting the breeze through. When you order you recieve an email to give you an easy “how to” for installing them but essentially it is double sided velcro and mesh. As you would expect, after a while the mesh does tear from repeated sticking and unsticking to the velcro to open the windows but this usually takes months for us and they are so cheap that it definately feels worth buying more when they do. I have bought these multiple times before and will buy again!

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersThis fly screen was a little fiddly to put up. I bought it because I have large inward opening windows as pictured, and needed a fly screen that would fit round the seals.

I cleaned all the surfaces thoroughly and let them dry completely, then fitted the adhesive velcro strips. Unfortunately, even after 24 hours drying and bonding, the adhesive was still pretty weak. I ended up using superglue to get them stuck properly.

Cutting the mesh was dead easy, and the included tool was actually really good for the job. I found it easiest to get both sides up, stretching the mesh a wee bit, then do the top then the bottom. They give you another wee tool to “hook” the mesh to the velcro, which I had reservations about, but worked really well. Fingers are also fine when getting it loosely fitted.

You’ll likely have to stick and unstick a few times, but you’ll get there. My window has a projecting “lip” on the bottom, but the mesh stretches over it just fine with a tiny bit of slack left to let it do so.

It’s very inexpensive, and works absolutely fine. Fiddly to install, but I see no other way to get a fly screen on a window like this. The adhesive on the strips needs to be much stronger, so just one star dropped.

I would definitely recommend this product for those with inward opening windows like mine.

4.0 out of 5 stars A little fiddly, but great value and works well

Pretty easy too install, sticks well but does rip the net when you take it off the Velcro if you’re not careful so isn’t really designed for a window that needs to be opened and closed a lot. Doesn’t really show much and doesn’t block out light. Keeps the bugs out!

I have a tilt window that cannot be opened a tiny amount but has to tilt fully. I have pets in the room and want to air the room and keep flies out. This actually was supposed to go on the window frame, but can’t due to the window tilting inwards . However it has worked well attaching the velcro onto the wall surrounding the window gap , so it covers up the windowsill as well as sealing the whole window area . This gives it room to tilt open . If i want to open the window i just pull the screen off the velcro carefully to get into the handle then stick it down again after.

Golden Review Award: 16 From Our UsersPros:
The instructions provided both through the included paper and email were clear and easy to follow.
The velcro tape adhered very well to the window frame and hasn’t shown any risk of coming off in the first few days using the product.
Fairly easy to cut to size.
Working well to prevent moths and crane flys entering the room.
Everything you need for it is included.

    Cons:
If you need to close your window while the netting is up, EG due to rain, it can be tricky to undo it again.
If you are a perfectionist, it’ll take some time to get everything looking perfect due to the netting being folded rather than rolled in the packaging. (Very minor thing but important to some)
The included net cutting tool wasn’t the best, you may be better off using a pair of scissors. But it is nice one was included.

I’d recommend looking into buying this if you want to cover a small to medium size window.

Final note, when cutting the netting to size try to leave yourself a CM or two extra in order to fold it back in on itself for a much cleaner looking end result.

Bought this product to the insect problem in my room when leaving the window open during the day especially in the hot weather! The netting was a good size and more than I needed for the window. The velcro adhesive was easy to apply and stuck really well not had an issue so far with it and the netting is really good that no bugs can get through. My only issue with it is the cutting tool provided. The blade sits far too flat and you then have to hold it at an angle to get it to cut. If the blade was a bit more tilted this issue would be resolved. Also a little bit of a faff getting the netting all tight and flat but once it was up it was perfec

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our Usersi bought these insect screens for our conservatory windows and they work really well. I was having to clear huge numbers of flies/insects throughout the day. since fitting the screens the conservatory is insect free which is brilliant. Very easy to fit and the velcro is strong and sticks well. Although one person could fit these we found it easier with two people only because you need to keep the screen straight and to stop it from sticking in the wrong place as adhesion is really good. Would definitely recommend as it keeps even the tiny insects out.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersEasy to install. Works very well to keep flies, insects etc. out of the bedroom.

Had this a few weeks now and noticed that the netting has small holes appearing where you have to pull it away from the velcro to open and close the window so not sure how much longer the netting will last.

Also, the velcro tape started to lift off the PVC window frame (yes, I did thoroughly clean it before sticking the velcro on) it did stick back ok. I think the trick is not to pull the netting too tight.

All in all, if it lasts me through the summer and guards me against Autumn (spider season as I call it) I’ll be very happy

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersGreat product and easy to fit. Only problem is my Windows open outwards as do most I suppose, so the handles protrude in from the frame which means the mesh isnt tight across frame, also have to un-stick the mesh every time I want to open the window
Which it dosn’t show in their pictures, as their windows open inwards and mesh stays on permanently. I can see the mesh weekning! But does the job when windows are open.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersVelcro strips adhered to the window frame nicely and the mesh sticks to the velcro very well. However, if you have windows that open to the outside, it may be difficult to open/close your windows without having to remove the mesh each time. For our windows, we simply remove the bottom portion of the mesh, slide our arm up to the handle and open/ close, then reseal the mesh. However, you have to be careful with the mesh as to not tear it or put a run in it when removing it from the velcro strip. So far, it seems durable. Worth it to keep the bugs out.

4.0 out of 5 stars Effective, but cumbersome for windows that open to the outside
