I didn’t know there was such a thing as coffee scales – my husband loves them

I was worried because of the negative reviews, but so far it’s all positive for me. I don’t have another scale, but it seems accurate and consistent to me. The touch buttons are quite responsive. I was pressing them too hard, found that a gentle press is better. Read the manual and it will all be fine.
The mini version is perfect for me, fits well with my Lelit Anita/Anna
So far the only issue I have is related to battery warning. It just says “Lo” and then dies. No warning, no nothing

I’m using this scale for more than 6 months now and not only for coffee, but for everything else in the kitchen.

The scale is designed so nicely and made quite fine. Can’t say it is perfect or very sturdy, but is fine, is ok.
The readings are easy to notice as there’s no such thing as display on it, the digits appear right from the black background of the scale.
The battery life is not impressive, will need to be recharged pretty often.
The charger by the way is USB Type C.

The mini scale is surprisingly good, in comparison to my Acaia Pearl it’s accurate and no real delay in readings. Only complaint is the buttons aren’t quite responsive, and the charger port cover is useless, so need to be careful to not submerge in water. As good if not better than my old Brewista it replaced

It does what it says although it doesn’t work 100% on a uneven surface like when I put in between my cup and machine but I guess that’s not its intended use.

Looks good, perfect size for sage machine, others at this value level scale often over the edge and may be inaccurate because of it. Easy to clean, auto feature is really useful. Buy it.

I’ve got the mini variant of this coffee scale, and it’s exceeded all my expectations. It’s well made with a lovely bright display, and it’s really responsive too which is great when pulling an espresso shot. The auto mode is also great for timing shots. I’ve got a Sage Barista Pro and this fits great under the portafilter.

USB-C is a welcomed addition and the battery seems to last for a long time between charges.

For the price, this is a no-brainer in my opinion.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersThis handy compact scale from Airnew is OK. Small enough to keep on the worktop or kitchen shelf, and rechargeable from a USB source. In ‘Auto Mode’ you can weigh out the required amount of coffee into hot water, and once the weight measurement stabilises, it will start counting up so you can accurately achieve your perfect brew time. Of course, it has a great many other uses apart from weighing coffee. Ideal for small amounts, you can select grams, millilitres, or ounces and, in ‘manual mode’, weigh items up to 3Kg. It can also be used as a standalone timer though it can only count up. There are no buttons as such, instead you just lightly touch the control areas. The charging port is on the rear beneath a waterproof cover and, being completely flat and smooth with no openings, the unit is easily cleaned with a simple wipe across the surface. The measurements generally seem fairly accurate within about +- .002gm. Items included are an instruction leaflet which is quite straightforward, a USB charging cable, a cleaning cloth, and for some reason, a few coffee filter papers. Overall, not a bad little practical scale which looks quite neat in the kitchen or on your bar.

    First thoughts:
    Pros
Rechargeable so no looking around for replacement batteries.
    Bright digital display.
Accurate measurement in grams for dry weight and water.
Flat surface design with display below the surface.

    Cons
Seems to weigh through pressure in the feet rather than a weighing platform, so pressing the timer does put load on the current measurement.

I got these scales to weigh coffee grounds for pour-over brewing, and since they’ve been designed with that in mind, there’s some handy little features. They are precise enough to measure in tenths of grams so I can check weights for the correct strength.
The design is understated and sleek (no visible buttons, just a nice square), and is a nice size to measure everything in situ if I need to.

Details and things to note (See pictures and video):
Small digital scale that has a rechargeable cell for USB charging (USB-C cable included).
There’s no screen as such, the digital LED illuminates from beneath the surface so the entire weighing surface is flat and available for use.
There is a digital display for weight measurement and another for the timer function. This comes in very useful for timing blooms and brewing time. The display is bright and clear to read.
Has a range of measurement options including oz, ml and g, but it’s accurate for measuring water (g = ml) so I can measure the coffee grounds and the actual liquid pour all in situ.

    Final thoughts:
Happy to recommend this if you’re into your hand poured coffee, as this is designed with that in mind. It has a large enough platform to seat my smaller pour-over flask, as well as my 12 cup Kemex. This should work well if you’re just measuring out grounds for drip, Moka pots and espresso, but it excels if you’re doing any kind of pour with a level base.
It’s small, portable, looks nice on the bench, and the timer is very handy for timing blooms and brew time.

5.0 out of 5 stars Accurate and good for weighing coffee grounds. Simple but very useful.

My husband makes the best burgers for that to happen he has to measure the spices precisely.
He was really happy to receive this scale.
My only complain is that it would only charge with cable provided in the box. My private charger would not connect for some reason. But it was charging without problem with able provided.
That being said it’s easy to operate: pres power for 2 seconds it goes on , press again timer goes on.
It can be used for coffee making or cooking, whatever you need.
I would buy again and I would recommend
I hope my review and photos were helpful

4.0 out of 5 stars Not only for coffee

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersDisplay looks great and reacts quickly.

I’m glad I gave it a chance, good value for money.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersLike the previous reviewer also took a chance on this product with a lack of ratings. With primary usage as a coffee scale I was drawn to the simple wipe clean design. Big plus the the product is has a usb charger for convenience. Compare this to the crazy priced acaia lunar scales and tell me this isn’t stunning vale.

Edit: Be aware the touch controls take a while to get used to they require a certain level of contact and there can be a delay, this has resulted in a slight delay when using the timer or jumping from grams to ounces instead if triggering tare. With more use I will get the “feel” down but it’s not exactly an iPhone level of touch response

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI recently purchased this scale, almost taking a gamble on it. With its lack of reviews and not much info about it apart from the manufacturer’s descriptions, I was almost dubious to think it could hold up to all that it says it does for such a low price point. It’s a nice tidy unit with a low enough profile to fit under a portafilter spout and measure and time accurately into a cup, which makes dialing in an espresso a lot easier. Not having to worry about batteries is also nice and gives the unit a more premium feel in a way. The display and design are both clear and minimalistic, giving it a nice ‘no frills’ approach doing all that it needs to do well. Yes, it doesn’t have a built-in app nor lots of expanding features, but at such a low price it seems to be a steal at the moment. (Left at 4 stars for now but will update more accordingly at a later point.)
