5.0 out of 5 stars They Work Well
Massive box of sanding discs, decent price. Seem to last well. Very firm fit onto sander, no lost discs so far.
Don’t think I’ll get through them all in my lifetime, but better to have too many than too few.
4.0 out of 5 stars Good, but!
These discs are good for smaller areas but for larger areas you have to change them regularly to strip back to original wood. They are great for sanding prior to painting.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great quality
Great quality pads that are both well made & built to last. I used one on hardwood surface for around an hour & the pad still looked as if it was still new & hadn’t been used.
Work fine
What you get in quantity for the price makes up for the fact they might last a little bit less time. I’ve had no issue with these though and have been up to the job when upcycling furniture. They fit my sander fine.
Do the job
They fit my Bosch radial sander pretty well and have delivered good performance so far. They do get clogged up but so do all others.
Decent discs for the money, can’t go too wrong.
does the job
This Awutzut 125mm Sanding Discs 80 Grit for 5 inch Discs Pads Hook and Loop Orbital Sander (90PCS) is great! Nice quality! fits perfectly! Easy to use! works fine! good value for money
Decent produc
A decent pack of 80 sanding pads that seem to be reasonably well manufactured
They’re easy to attach and do exactly what they are supposed to do and with 8 different grits that should cover most projects
They’re good value for money and definitely worth trying
Good value standard sanding discs
14.99 for 100 pieces sanding discs
Decent discs that seem durable and long lasting. Good amount of grip using the Velcro method. Come in a box with the grit size handily printed on the back
Good quality on a fair price
This is a great set of 70 sanding discs,40 grit.
I have a Makita BO5031/2 240V 125mm Random Orbit Sander and these sanding discs fit perfectly.
Both my Makita and the discs have 8 holes for dust extraction and they align well.
I picked the 40 grit as they take off more material quickly and this is what I need.
The sanding discs seem to be good quality and the price of 13.99 is not bad for a set of 70pcs.
Hopefully my review was Helpful for you.
Great selection, work well.
Great selection of 125mm sanding discs. Fit perfectly on my random orbital sander and last well in use.
Boxed set of 80 in a range of grits from course to fine for different uses.
Good value too.
Excellent value!
To be fair, even if these were a poor quality set of discs, 100 of them for 14.99 is an absolute bargain! I am pleased to say, however, that these discs are excellent quality and worked really well for my husband when he sanded an external door ready for painting. He was very pleased with how good they are and says that 100 will last a long time!
Really good quality, as good as big brand names.
I enjoy making things from new and reclaimed wood. Our house is around 100 years old, and I have got rid of all the modern doors etc and used salvaged doors from the correct era, they needed sanding after stripping lots of coats of paint. I use my orbital sander for a lot. These disks are 180 grit, ideal for the final orbital sand before I switch to finishing by hand. These disks stick well to my sander and stay on well too. They last as long as the branded ones I had been using.
Impressive - Good value for money
Quite a nice set of sandpapers. Exactly what I needed for my car bodywork. 100 pieces so will last a long time. They were quick to attach to my buffing machine and made easier the sanding task for me. A bit thin but I am fine due to the large quantity.
Arrived well-packaged. The price is cheap in my opinion.
Overall, I am happy to own them and will recommend.
Good price
Good price for lots of sanding discs. Use to sand down my coffee table today and they work well with my sander and stay in place like any other. Overall happy with the product.
A lot for less
Good quality discs designed to stick well and sand well. It’s great having the variations in grit, so I can work my way down to a smooth finish when I am sanding.
This is a good pack of discs that are well priced and nicely boxed for good storage. I will be using mine on sanding down my dining table chairs.
Great value
This is a bumper pack of sanding discs. They are easy to attach and work well. They are not going to last as long as more expensive brands however to get a pack of 80 who cares. In a local DIY store you will spend a lot more money to get this many discs. Not much else I can say about these other than they do the job.
Good Range of Grits and Great Value for Money
These sanding discs arrived in a ‘pizza’ style cardboard box.
There is a good selection of grades from P40 to P240 and you get ten of each grade. This is a very useable range of grits. Each grade is sandwiched together.
They stick on my orbital sander well and stay put. The holes align with the ones on the sander pad.
At 14.99 for 80 discs these are excellent value. They don’t last quite as long as the more expensive ones but the difference is marginal, so I’m giving them 5 stars for their value for money.
4.0 out of 5 stars Good selection of grits
My husband used these with his electrical orbital sander and said they were as good as his usual supplier.
He was able to sand three coats of paint off a piece of wooden furniture for a natural wood finish.
Good value for the range of grits that you receive.
Took a while
It took a while for me to get through one of these discs. Sanding through clear coat and paint on a guitar. From factory. Thicker than usual coating from a guitar from a maybe a decade or more ago. Half a mill or more. Took a while to get through with a good amount of stops to blow the sanding disc and surface clear of dust and clog up.
However, I can say there’s, at least in my use case, have been great so far and I can’t find too much of a fault with them.
Only real issue is they’re at competing prices with other brands that provide more discs with the variation currently. Although I can’t comment on those other discs so maybe the quality is subpar compared to these discs.
Velcro is good on the bottom, the grit lasts a while before it starts pulling off. Although I have pressed down considerably hard on the surface and it may have gotten too hot at some point so the clear coat or paint may have pulled the grit off the discs.
I always think the cheaper consumables like sanding discs the better, they’re going to get ate through anyway and considering I don’t do this for making sales of anything, the less the cost the better.
Overall; price, quality and fit for use.
1 star price – at least it’s competitive prices, it would be 0.5 but I rounded up here because of the competitiveness during my searches.
1 star for quality – without comparison to others around this price, I can’t confidently suggest it gain 2 stars here. But don’t get me wrong, I find them pretty good quality and I had a friend who never complained about it burning out too quick when he had a go for a couple of hours. So that sounds for something, he’d be the first one to complain.
2 stars fit for use – 100% fit for use, not cheap feeling, doesn’t wear out quick with my use cases (clear coat, paint and wood)
I can at least recommend these an option that works and lasts a while!
Fits my Makita perfectly
These discs seem to be fine, I haven’t worn any out yet, so I can’t say how long they might last. I have sanded a wardrobe door with good results using a 240 to get it ready for paint and the resulting finish is okay. The disc fits my Makita random orbit sander perfectly and the Hook & Loop holds well. At 15 for 80 discs is a good buy and I am happy with them.

80 x 125mm sanding orbital discs ~ mixed sizes
So the description states this is a:-
Awutzut 125mm sanding discs. 40/60/80/100/120/150/180/240 Grit for 5 inch discs pads hook and loop orbital sander ~ 80pcs.
In this pack was 10 of each grade ~ 40, 60, 80, 100, 120, 150, 180, 240.
After reading it says:- “5” sandpaper suitable for 125 mm random orbit sanders or discs pads”.
I have a non branded orbital sander and they fit just fine.
I never knew what the holes were for as I’m winging it and self tort, but now find out they are for dust extraction.
*** Mainly used for grinding, polishing wood, plastic, stone, glass, metal and non-metal materials to remove rust, stripping paint and deburring.
I have got them store now in a labels box so they are kept dry safe for when needed.
The price at the time of this review is 14.99, which works out to be 19p per sheet.
So far so good
Bit I will update this review if needed.
*** Detail’s:-
* Size:- 5″
* Quantity:- 80 pads
* Made of:- Aluminium oxide abrasive
* Weight:- 690g
Great value for money
Items arrived in a plain, simple cardboard box and arranged inside were the stacks of 10 of each grit alternately facing up or down to make them easy to seperate, a nice little touch.
Each sheet seems to be well made, the holes are very cleanly punched with no rough or ragged edges and they line up perfectly on my orbital sander base plate holes so extraction won’t be an issue. The material holds well to the backing during use and they remove material at a rate you’d expect of the relevant grit size, becoming more of a smooth finish as you move up the numbers.
For the amount of sheets you get at the price, (approx 18p a sheet) this set represents pretty decent value and even if they only last a short while, at this price I wouldn’t be complaining at all but so far they seem to last just as well as mainstream branded items I’ve used.
Would be an ideal starter set for someone or just good as a stock up on various grits.
Great box of discs
I received this box of 125 mm sanding discs through the Amazon vine program
This is just what I wanted, i am in the process of staining our shed at the bottom of our garden,
I must admit it’s got in a bit of a state and unfortunately it’s in need of a good sanding before I can stain it
Having spent quite a bit of time and quite a few discs side one completed, so these disc that fit my sander are definitely going too save me some time,
What’s in the box a good assortment of abrasive grit discs ranging from 40 grit to 240 grit in total 80 sanding disc, that works out at approximately 20 p per disc
I hope you found this review helpful
Easy to use sanding pleasure
I got these for my battery sander and they haven’t disappointed. Comes in a nice little cardboard box . They are velcro backed making them easy to fit and remove from the sander. Quality is good and they last well before needing replaced. This large box will last me a long time and I will definitely buy again when they do eventually run out.
Do what they are supposed to at a good price
These sanding discs have a good velcro grip when used with my cordless grill. They were easy to use and removed paint from metal without the need to apply any pressure. Would recommend.
big box of sanding discs in different grit sizes at a good price
Good price for a big box of sanding discs in all the sizes you are most likely to use. Certainly for an amateur craftsman like me this is an ideal and cost effective choice
Work perfectly well
The sanding discs are the standard 125 size and have no issues attaching and staying attached to my Dewalt orbital sander. In use I haven’t noticed any difference, they last just as long. If you want lower grade paper then these are ideal, quite often sets include grades over 1000 which are fine for mirror like polishing but not so good for removing excess, these do the job quickly ready for a finer sand if needed. These discs come boxed so easy to store and keep from getting bent or damaged.
Quality sanding discs
Awutzut 125mm Sanding Discs 60 Grit for 5 inch Discs Pads Hook and Loop
The sanding discs arrive neatly packed in a slim box, there are 80 discs in total which should last me for quite some time. The disks are 5 inch (125mm) in size, each have a hook and loop pad on the rear. I have to say this hook and loop system is far easier than the previous method of using glue to secure sanding discs onto orbital sanders.
The sanding discs feel quite tough, they have a decent thickness backing paper so they are quite stiff and do not easily tear. The sanding side of the discs I received has a layer of 60 grit Aluminium Oxide which is one of my favourite sanding surfaces. The hook and loop on these discs feels substantial and secure nicely to my sander.
In use these perform well without issue, the discs have a good sharp grit to them which seems to sand well. Another thing I like about this type of disc is that the grit resists clogging. Aluminium Oxide discs seem to last much longer for me over other types, but I guess that is just my opinion.

Thank you for reading my review, I hope you have found it helpful.
Good sanding discs. Enough to last a few years
These discs are felt backed for hook and loop (velcro) fasteners. They fit easily and sit securely. They can also be removed easily. They have several holes to allow dust to clear easily from the discs.
The discs are good quality and last well. Good discs
