Bought this for my sons first birthday it’s such a lovely gift that will take him through a good few years.
My two year old loves it too!
Nicely made, looks lovely and lots of fu
Kids love i
I bought this for a 1 yo and both she and her 4 yo brother loved it! It has got lots of different features and is really responsive to touch. It’s great quality.
A fun item and holding up to a toddler.
Really pleased with this purchase, which was for a toddlers first Christmas. He’s fairly interested in it but mostly for making a noise rather than learning to play but I’m doing lots of demonstrating for him.
A solid purchase, pleased with it. Good value, made even better with an Amazon voucher that I didn’t know I had until checkout!
Good fu
My daughter was 8 months old when she got this fir Christmas. She enjoys making musuc with it, however it does easily tip over and has hit her head when it’s done so on a few occasions. Still it seems we’ll made and sturdy. This should last a while and grow with her, from aimless noise making to following the little music sheets when older.
Very well made
Lovely little device for my grand daughters 1st Christmas. The keyboard is really responsive and I would imagine a piano player would be able to get a decent tune. Still a 9 month old can bash the keys and still have fun.
Excellent toy for 1st Birthday.
Given to our son on his 1st birthday and was a huge hit! He enjoys playing (banging) on the piano and making his own music. He enjoys pulling out the song sheets and replacing them with new ones, he’s very pleased and gives himself a round of applause. The toy has certainly grown with him, now 22 months he is now singing songs whilst playing. It’s a very attractive with contrasting wood and the coloured keys. Would give 10/10
2year old loves i
Nicely presented packaging, works really well, the sound quality as it’s electronic (no strings) is very good not tinny or drives you crazy! looks sturdy enough, great size for small children. It’s a winner !!
So cool
I had previously got my grand daughter the piano from this range so the guitar was the next logical choice, so great to have wooden toys rather than ore plastic rubbish! Like the piano it works really well.
Lovely first piano
My son loves banging on the keys and the automatic music option. He enjoys playing with the music sheets. The sound quality sounds raspy at times and you cannot always play along with the automatic music due to delays. In any case, the little one enjoys it for a few months already.
Beautiful Toy
Beautiful you – bought for my grandson and I am sure we will have lots of fun playing with it. One annoying problem – the batteries were not included in the parcel and there does not seem to be a way of advising Amazon of this fact other than returning the whole item. I would just like 3 batteries being sent out to me.
Just love this! My daughter is obsessed with her’s, best toy I ever got her. She is 8m now, but has been playing with it since she was 6 and I feel this will still be fun up to 5yo at least… The small partitures are so smart, so allow the toy to grow with the them.
Brilliant toy
Piano teacher here. Bought for nephew and then we got it as a present for our son. It’s fantastic. Good for sensory, colour, nice sound and the sheet music is a great idea. Looks really cute I must buy for anyone that enjoys wooden toys
Definitely 5 stars
My 6 months old loves the music of the guitar and play with it a lot, my 2 years old every day play with it. Is a toy wich make a nice noise does not disturb at all. I like it also. I’m not sure why is 12+recommended in my opinion is nice for baby’s also,I can’t see where is the hazard but anyway. Highly recommended, you will not regret i
Two new pianists in the family! ;)
This is my go-to First Birthday Present for grandchildren. We’re a musical family and this is a lovely, tuneful toy. Even the dog plays it with his snoot on occasion!
There is lots to explore and they still come up with new sounds I didn’t know it made.
Completely recommend this. Lovely tunes, the black notes are only for decoration which is a shame but really doesn’t detract, babies LOVE this and stay loving it…
Excellent toy
Love this piano, especially the xylophone mode. It is quite a gentle sound compared with some children’s toys. I like the learning element whereby on successful playing of the musical cards, the rest of the tune is automatically played and even applauds you! Good build quality. The music cards are durable and wipeable.
the children loved this!
I bought this for my 2.5 year old grandson and actually his 4 year old sister also liked it (I had bought her a ‘real’ ukelele but it seemed she preferred this one!). he threw it around a lot and it didn’t break. However, it’s important to know this is only a toy. It isn’t playable as an instrument.
Good but could be bette
This piano is a great size for young children and has a very nice design, but it’s a shame that the black keys don’t play a different sound to the coloured ones next to them. Also the speaker where the sound comes out is underneath the piano which means that when it is playing music sitting on carpet the sound is not particularly loud and can be a bit muffled at times.
Guitar hero.
Excellent quality, which makes the product safe to use. There are actually all kinds of things you can do with this guitar, suited to different ages and learning/sensory needs so it’s well worth looking for inspiration. It’s a great resource and a lot of fun.
Great toy for little musician !
Baby Einstein, Hape, Strum Along Songs Magic Touch Wooden Electronic Guitar is a great option for a younger child. He enjoys pushing each button to hear the different sounds it makes. The different colors help him distinguish the buttons from each other.
It keeps him entertained for a very long time. It plays multiple songs he can dance to. You only need to touch a button.
The color-coded touch areas on the neck change the chord that you are strumming, or, if you press them by themselves, are simply single notes.
If you switch the mode on the guitar, the big blue button will play several upbeat songs and the lights on the neck will flash in rhythm. In this mode, the color pads will play a variety of animal and nature sounds.
Very good quality toy, that gives my child hours of fun.
Highly recommended!
Banging
My grand piano broke and I couldn’t afford to repair it or buy a new one. Been using this ever since, knocked out some great tunes, twinkle twinkle and Hickory Dickory Dock. Crowd loves them so far, would never go back to my old piano. Saves space too and portable!
An eye-catching toy that will grow with little ones.
After reading numerous reviews from parents I decided to jump on the bandwagon and purchase this for my one year old.
At present he seems to get most of his enjoyment from tinkering on with the buttons and watching myself and my partner play it for him. Although he does at times enjoy touching the keys and hearing the variations in the notes. I do have my suspicions that is more so a toy that will grow with him so I cannot as yet speak of the full usability of the toy.
Nonetheless it does seem to be particularly study as it is composed of wood outlaid with plastic. The colours are appealing and the sound is much clearer than I was expecting if not a little loud at times.
The only issue I have with the toy is that the colours on the sheets included do not seem to match that on the keyboard, as they are several shades darker but other than that I have no complaints.
My toddler is in love with it!
This magic guitar is really a magic! my child is sooo into it! Plays it everyday! The design is amazing! The quality is on the top! And the sound is perfect! There is no string on the guitar just by touch they can make sounds! It even has some recorded songs that you can play with them. It is light and the size is perfect for little one hands. It is for sure a very good gift option! definitely worth the money!
Great present for Christmas
This electric guitar is really entertaining my 9 months old baby.
He can catch it without any problem as the size is great for his small hands.
I really like the songs and the flashing lights of the animals.
There is a button which controls the volume of the toy which is also on/off switch.
There is also a button which helps to swap between music, animal sounds and songs.
There is a round blue button which when pressed by my baby , it starts playing music for a long time.
The baby electronic guitar comes with batteries so you don’t need to buy them separate.
It is made really colourful and the touch buttons work very well.
The price of 29.99 is great for this baby guitar.
Hopefully my review was Helpful for you.
High quality
A have a few Baby Einstein toys, and they are all superb quality and clever in their design. I cannot get over how good the wooden parts are, the finish is so good, really hardwearing. Best of all, the bits that get touched the most are flat without moving parts or little gaps for food and grime to build up in, so super easy to keep clean and safe.
The guitar is really well sized and light in weight so easy to use and easy to store! All the buttons and knobs are solid and safe, and it’s so much fun! I had a similar toy when I was a child and this is truly an evolution of that!
Overall I cannot recommend this enough. No idea if it will inspire any musical talent, but it’s a fun toy!
Excellent toy guita
My son loves playing with this guitar, exploring the notes, sound effects, making music and dancing around, great fun.
There’s lights, guitar noises, sound effects, animal noises all in a fairly small and lightweight guitar form, my 2 year old can easily hold and play with it.
I quite enjoy playing with it myself, there are some backing beats which you can strum and play along with and make some not-awful music.
I particularly like the magic touch string section which makes different sounds depending on where and how you tap or strum it.
The quality of the sound is pretty good and can be adjusted to two volume levels, the highest of which isn’t overly loud.
Build quality is good, with the plastic/wood combo making this guitar feel like a premium toy, and it’s easy to wipe clean when needed which is always useful
Would happily recommend this toy, aswell as the others in the Baby Einstein magic touch range, which are all fantastic.
Fun toy for 2 year old
My 2 year old daughter has a thing for guitars where she loves to pretend to play them so i knew straight away she was going to love this. This is a lovely looking guitar toy suitable for children from 1 years old. Its another toy from their wooden range so looks great and is very different compared to most toys currently available.
It has Magic Touch Technology where the touch sensor is extremely responsive and smooth. The fun design is very child friendly and introduces my daughter to the basics of guitar playing by guitar sounds and sounds such as the banjo. My daughter is very expressive anyway, however its a joy seeing her get into roleplay as if she is the biggest star and you can tell the fun she has with it. She loves music anyway so this in her eyes is the real thing.
Its perfect for little hands, lightweight and has many features to keep your little one entertained like it did mine. Definitely worth the price and i would definitely check out other toys from this stunning range!
Awesome & Fantastic Quality
Really good little lightweight guitar just the right size and weight fore little ones having their first musical adventures with four different sounds with the electric guitar, acoustic guitar, bass guitar and banjo! The guitar responds to the strumming which is great as it mimics a real guitar along with the sound but you can also have it on the more crazy/annoying side of the spectrum which lots of loud but fun and interesting different sounds and effects. There are definitely cheaper models out there but the difference in price here is definitely in the build which is absolutely brilliant (endlessly better than very cheap plastic alternatives) and also in the sound quality – both of which make it worth paying a little extra for and would 100% recommend!
Stupendous
I expected it to be great, it being Hape, but I never thought a baby guitar could be so advanced & so much fun – I love the music on it!
It has all sorts of features that seem to multiple for me but children sort out quite quickly. This object has been played with every day for a week now (that’s quite something), especially that holidays have just started and the influx of toys is constant.
There are 2 volumes & neither breaks your eardrums. There are lights & just mild animal sounds apart from (!!) some proper guitar features.
This toy won’t leave any soul with strings (read ‘guitar) in it unmoved.
Great interactive toy
This toy is a little expensive, there are quite a few similar toy guitars made of plastic, but this one is very well made with mostly wood. It can be strummed and even a whammy bar, everyone can be little Hendrix! This is great if the parents also play guitars, your little one can do some pretend jamming with you, good to get them started on music at an early age.
Entertaining
Very interesting and entertaining toy, but also – very expensive in my opinion.
My daughter likes and plays with it. It has many different functions and sounds.
Overall I think this is a great toy, but quite expensive compared to the other similar toys.
Great fun - Good light and sound interaction - Well Made
This Baby Einstein guitar is a really well made alternative to the rubbish all plastic baby toys you usually get. Plastic is kept to a minimum and the smooth finished wood is touch controlled with no buttons or moving parts on and the main area. Its responsive like a normal guitar to strumming and the neck acts like a keyboard so is a good introduction to pitch and the basics of guitar for a baby. The weight is ideal for a baby and it can be held or put on the floor and used easily either way. The unit has a two stage volume control and the sound module is pretty realistic meaning it isn’t too annoying or cheap sounding. The unit overall feels really well made and like it would last and be able to be handed down which I think is important as a lot of toys now are designed for a short lifespan then landfill.
This is one cool early learners electric guitar for a budding little rock star.
The touch sensitivity is very responsive, the front panel of which, is wooden veneered, with a plastic housing. The guitar is not heavy by any means and very comfortable for our little one to parade around the house. It’s comparatively, a small guitar, even for the child’s small stature. The body of it fitting neatly into their hands without feeling clunky. I would say it is suited for a mature two year old and upwards.
Even the rosette over the imaginary sound hole allows our little one to strum away feebly, and be rewarded with a little melody. The fretboard has a colour coded system, each one plays a different note. You can also set it to play a preset melody and strum along to it.
A wonderful early introduction to the shape, size, and structure of the guitar which is a good mix between electric and string guitar.
The only thing missing from it is a guitar strap. But then, this would be considered a safety hazard, I imagine that’s why they omitted it.
Greay toy hours of fu
This is the second magic touch toy we’ve had and my son loves it, the magic touch buttons or rather sensors work amazingly well and the guitar itself has many sounds and even a crazy noises mode with the whammy bar activated, well built too and I have no doubts this will last, all in all amazing value for money too.
Quality toy
My 1.5 year old loves this guitar and he finds it funny when playing it.
Plays musical songs or you can push the button to change it to the self play mode.
There is also a button for low and high volume which you can easily adjust.
Nice small guitar which is good quality and very cute!
Wonderful
I think it is really a nice toy for kids aged 3 to 7. Different buttons and different sounds, like a guitar but without strings, which is super good because guitar strings would cause some risk and danger for kids. Even my 9years old and 14years old kids liked to play with it. And even i tried, it is really fun. Product material is wonderful. Colours and design is so pretty.
Musical fu
My 20 month old neice is thrilled with this guitar. She loves everything musical and this doesn’t disappoint. It has a great variety of sounds and music and the options to play automatic music as well as your child creating their own sounds.
It is easy to use and wipes clean. The materials are very lightweight, great for little arms to carry.
It is a little bit more expensive than other electronic kids guitars but the quality is high. It came with batteries already installed so your little one can play with it right out of the box.
I’m very happy with this unique musical guitar and I would recommend this for musical toddlers. The box states that it is suitable for children aged 12-36 months.
I hope you find this helpful.
Not the most irritating music toy but could be bette
Bought because other mini keyboard/guitar hybrid played annoying little tunes. Unfortunately so does this one. But our 9 month old baby enjoys sitting at it and hitting the keys or chewing on the “sheet music”. Three year old mainly wants to press the button that plays the pre-recorded stuff. Sounds are ok but has expected more realistic piano sound from description.
I was sceptical of this product, as I am with all musical toys (they often sound horrible). But I got it because it said it sounds like a real piano. And I am actually really happy with it. The sound is only ever so slightly tinny, but a far cry from most other musical toys. The melodies are nice and you can change the setting to piano only or to playing songs when you touch the keys. Most importantly, my 14mo loves it! At this point he simply likes listening to the melodies and dancing to them, but I suspect when he’s older he’ll enjoy creating his own melodies. For piano aficionados: the black keys don’t work so only melodies in c major are playable.
Definitely a worthwhile investment for us!
