This is by far THE best tong I have purchased. I have tried the bigger brands & they were trickier to use, didn’t hold the curl & just don’t work aswell.

This is an absolute bargain & does exactly what it says!

    – don’t delay, buy today!!!

Amazing, still learning but wand is great for even inexperienced hair stylists like me. Would be great if could purchase an additional glove as I require both hands covered to style .

I didn’t actually end up getting these from amazon as they left them at the wrong address, however I bought them again elsewhere and they are without doubt the best tongs ever, the curls last for days (if you want them to) heats up quick, long power cord, certainly the best thing I’ve tried and if you could see my return history on amazon for this type of thing, you would know I’ve tried a lot of options, don’t hesitate for the price, great heat resistant glove also although I never use them

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersIf you are looking for a curling wand that can create a variety of curls and waves, the BaByliss Ceramic Curling Wand Pro might be a good option for you. This wand has a 13-25mm conical barrel that heats up quickly and evenly, and has a wrap control feature that helps you guide the hair around the barrel for easy styling. The wand also has a variable heat setting that ranges from 150C to 210C, so you can choose the temperature that suits your hair type and desired curl. The wand comes with a heat glove and a heat mat to protect your hands and surfaces from the high heat.

I have used this wand several times and I am impressed with the results. The wand is easy to use and creates beautiful curls and waves that last for hours. The ceramic coating on the barrel makes the hair smooth and shiny, and reduces frizz and static. The wrap control feature is very helpful, as it prevents the hair from slipping off the barrel and ensures even heat distribution. The wand also has a cool tip that makes it safer to hold and a swivel cord that prevents tangling. The heat glove and mat are also very useful and prevent burns and damage.

The only downside of this wand is that it does not have a digital display or a temperature indicator, so you have to guess the temperature by the number of lights on the handle. It would be nice to have a more precise way of knowing the temperature, especially if you have sensitive or damaged hair. Also, the wand does not have an automatic shut-off feature, so you have to remember to turn it off after use.

Overall, I think the BaByliss Ceramic Curling Wand Pro is a great curling wand that can create different styles of curls and waves with ease. It is affordable, easy to use, and effective. It has a few minor drawbacks, but they do not outweigh the benefits. I would recommend this wand to anyone who wants to add some bounce and texture to their hair.

I ordered this curler to curl my wig and it is great. I curled my hair with it and applied some holding spray and my curls lasted just over a week. Highly recommend.

Brilliant hair curler for my 12yr old daughter. We’d tried a few and this has been fantastic. Curls quickly and they last all day. She’s found it very easy to use.

So different from how I used to curl my hair. Holding the wand upside down takes some getting used to. Good head & curls. Great value. Comes with one heat resistant glove (which I needed at first).

I bought this product nearly 7 years ago and it’s still working pretty well! It’s been used constantly and it always gives me long lasting curls. Very easy to use as it’s not heavy, so makes curling the hair quick.
No clamp so you won’t get any dents or crimps in your hair. I will definitely be repurchasing if and when my current one stops working.

I ordered a Babyliss Curl Secret with my Amazon Christmas gift voucher but found it very cumbersome and difficult to use, so I returned it and decided to try this one instead.

Wow, I LOVE this curling wand! So easy to use, produces great curls every time, and about a third of the price of the Curl Secret, so I had more credit remaining to spend on other items with my Christmas voucher! Win:Win!

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersMy friend had a very expensive wand and she curled my hair for a wedding. So I got online to Amazon and came across this Babyliss ceramic wand.I read the reviews and they were very favourable.Well I am so glad I chose this one.It was a quarter of the price of my friends one and it is brilliant. It is easy to use (I watched a tutorial) and the glove (included)protects your hand from getting burned.I use it on 190 and hold each section of hair for 7 seconds.Spray your hair with heat protection spray(not included). You will get beautiful curls that last all day. Best hair accessory I have ever bought. Delighted I chose this one.

I read in the product description that this curler came with a heat resistant mat and heat resistant gloves. I didn’t receive a mat, and only received one glove (that doesn’t protect my hand very much). Two gloves and a mat would have been appreciated (particularly as a mat was in description). Curler itself is great though.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersHeats up to nuclear hot- definitely curls even very long hair well and curls last all day. Use the glove provided and be careful around your forehead and ears as it’s so easy so singe them. First time I used them I curled small amounts of hair at a time and ended up like some crazy teenage mermaid, which is fine if that’s what you’re aiming for! I now separate my hair into about 8/9 chunky sections and get a lovely soft wavy curl which is much more natural and less voluminous.

    Tries 1 – 4
I bought this because reviews and people that answered questions convinced me that this will be worth getting.

I used this wand many times until this day and there’s no way to curl your hair on low temperature without it immediately starting to smell on burning and makes your hair to smell like it’s burning too!

Curls do come out but not as desired.

    Tries 5

I left it on “power” (which is 150 temperature)
And then I switched to my desired temperature, it didn’t smell as it was burning anymore and it did perfect curls!
I’m so happy that it works, I don’t know if it was supposed to be like that because is new but great that it stopped having that smell.

Love the curls so much 😀

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersIf I could give this 100 stars I would! Having tried so many different ways to curl my hair, straighteners, another babyliss curling thingy and even nighttime curl methods courtesy of YouTube one of my friends suggested I tried one of these. I bought this in the early hours of Prime Day, it arrived same day (love love love delivery same day before 10pm). You get a glove to protect your fingers from the heat, which as the most accident prone clumsy human ever I need it, and half an hour later my hair looked stunning. I’m sure with practice the time needed will reduce but I’m so happy with this I had to write an instant review which I never do. Honestly if you’re even just considering it, buy this, it’s easy and your hair looks so good. I’ve posted a pic, again I would never normally do that just because I’m so happy.

Golden Review Award: 48 From Our UsersOk. Where do I start? I had these delivered yesterday and immediately I wanted to write a review but I held off for a day as I wanted to see how they held up. I read other reviews of people saying ‘this is the first product that actually curls my hair’ and ‘so good I still had curls the next day or so’ when I was deciding which tongs/wand to purchase. This product had glowing reviews and I’ll admit I was a bit sceptical whether it would work for me given it’s ridiculously cheap price. Especially given that I have a 400 curling item from a well known manufacturer that just doesn’t hold curls in my hair and they drop within an hour, so it just goes to show sometimes you don’t have to pay a lot of money. Right… so read the glowing reviews, thought for 20 quid I’ll take a gamble. Add to basket. Delivered the next day. I was itching to try it out so plugged it in and off we went. I have no words to describe what happened next…. it actually curled my hair!! I mean, my hair that no matter what I’ve tried over the last few months with my 400 super duper blow dry/curling contraption or my straighteners hasn’t held a curl for more than 3-4 hours. I am absolutely blown away by this product!! I have chest length hair and it literally took me no longer than around 15-20 mins to do a full head of hair. And it was my first attempt so I’ll probably be quicker next time. Didn’t need to use the glove as I’m naturally a careful person. So… I’ve got these fantastic defined curls that I’ve let cool, and then I was so frightened to run my fingers through them for fear of pulling them out. I needn’t have been, because I gently ran my fingers through them and I was transformed into some curly haired goddess!! I stood in front of the mirror just shocked at how amazing my hair looked. So this was mid evening and I thought right well the big test is how they hold up after going to bed as I read reviews of people saying their curls lasted a few days. Well… I got up this morning and I thought I was still dreaming!! Ok fair play the curls drop slightly but in bed for 8 hours that’s good going. What I was left with was this beautiful defined wave in my hair and there was quite clearly still a loose-ish curl there. My hair has looked so beautiful all day! And another shocking fact is that all this was done with NO, yes that’s right NO hair product. None. Nothing. I really am stunned because my hair just doesn’t hold a curl. I really wish I’d found these sooner. And thankyou to other reviewers so posting such positive experiences as it was that that convinced me to try them. Thankyou Babylis for making this phenomenal wand. I am truly hair happy now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI’ve had several wands over the years and purchased this because I wanted a lightweight product to take on holiday.
Time will tell regarding longevity but my initial reaction is that I’m extremely impressed with the wand.

I recently purchased an expensive wand from a well known brand and the results it gives are underwhelming to say the least.

The babyliss wand compares very favourably and I can get either a defined or beachy wave in a few seconds on the lowest heat setting. I’ve seen some reviews that indicate the results produce curls that are too tight. However, grabbing large chunks of hair produces a beachy wave and I think the barrel is the perfect size.

Having used the item for a few weeks, I’ve edited the view and deducted a star due to a fundamental design flaw. It seems virtually impossible not to inadvertently flick off the power switch during use. I still think the item performs well for the price but the placement off the power switch was badly thought out and presents an annoying issue during use.

Golden Review Award: 33 From Our UsersI have very strong straight hair and for a recent occasion, I wanted something different. It was a 5hr drive to the venue and I allowed 2.5hrs to get ready from scratch so I would NOT have time to visit a hairdresser (plus I needed my hair done before I could put my narrow neck dress on over my head). I am totally USELESS at doing anything other than straightening my hair which is between my shoulders and waist in length. I haven’t attempted anything else in years because nothing seems to hold my hair either other than in an alice band or ponytail. I’d seen videos of gals using wands rather than curling tongs and they made it look soo easy. This one was affordable enough to let me try it out without breaking the bank. I’m glad I did. I LOVE it!!!

It takes a little bit of getting used to the right body contortions needed to successfully curl without burning yourself. Instructions say point wand downwards and close to your head then starting at the part nearest the handle, just wind your hair down it to the end and you can place you finger safely on the cool tip. I tried it for the first time a few days before my occasion. I quickly gave myself a bad burn across the back of my right hand whilst winding the hair round. It DOES get very hot and I was on the 2nd highest temperature. But the effects were very impressive and lasted quite a long time but that may be because of the use of hair product (which I never use either)!

The week before my occasion I had a practise run! I had washed, moussed and blow dried my hair 2 days beforehand so firstly sectioned it into horizontal layers, then took small maybe 2 inch wide sections and did what the instructions said. You can change the tightness of the curl depending on how hot or how long you hold the hair around the wand. I didn’t want tight ringlets nor just a loose wave. I wanted something in between – a wave that was almost a curl! So I used the 2nd highest temperature and held hair for 12 seconds. Once I’d finished a horizontal layer all round my head, I sprayed it with some texturising strong hold hairspray. To sort the back out was a bit trickier but I did it topsy turvy instead – ie pulled the top and middle layers of hair UP above my head so I could see it in the mirror and pointed the wand up the way in the same direction and wound the hair upwards towards the thin end! Once it was all done, I used a really wide tooth comb and my fingers to loosen it a little into the way I wanted it. From there I could leave it down or put it half up etc.

On the actual day of the occasion I had less time to get ready than allowed and my hair was straight. The only difference this time was, for speed, my husband had to do the back! He is even less adept at doing hair than I am … and clumsier. But he got it fairly quickly – he DID also burn himself a couple of times but not as bad as I had before. He had to do a few sections twice because he’d not held on long enough or hadn’t got close enough to my head but overall, he did a really good job considering. Only telling this part to show how easy it is to use once you’ve understood the technique. I put the sides into a half up ponytail for the occasion, took it down that night before bed and stuck it all up in a bulldog clip on top. Next morning, when I let it down, it still had enough curl/wave in it for me to just fluff the roots up with my fingers (not even a comb) and leave it with an alice band in. In fact I did the same for the next 3 days and it held.

So I’m well pleased with my wand because I’m sure it’ll only get easier and I’ll achieve even better results with more practice. The best thing is being able to leave it longer between styling – i.e., no more daily straightening! It’s been quite liberating to just be able to get up, take the clip out, shake it down and stick an a clip or band in it! If only I had a long haired female friend or relative nearby to practice even more on. This has given me the confidence and the desire to try out new looks.

On the plus side, it has a rotating cord so that doesn’t get all spirally and wound up. But it’s also too easy to switch the dang thing off when you’re transferring it from one hand to the other and holding it where you can’t see it and moving it around a bit. Your hand can’t help but close over the on/off switch so you have to check it quite often. Again, something I’m sure you’d overcome with more practise.
