This is such a fun set, easy enough to put together but also a bit challenging. Instructions are very easy to follow, and pieces are nicely separated in packages and easy to find. My daughter loved finding all the little smile faces that were placed on the Lego. Very well made, extremely happy with this set. Oh and cute characters were included :)

Nett gemacht wobei die Figuren einen ziemlich groen Kopf haben – aber na ja. Ansonsten ist das ganze ziemlich klein, finde es seht auf den Bildern grsser aus. Die Teile halten grtenteils ganz gut aber mit den original Steinen kommem sie nicht ganz mit. Dafr sind sie allerdings auch wieder gnstiger, deshalb 4 Sterne
Great value for money
This item arrived earlier than was expected (suited me perfectly). It was packaged well so that the inside box was protected. There were various buying options for this item but I chose this as it cost less money than other sites for the same product. I purchased this item as a gift for my granddaughter, so I haven’t (as yet) seen the contents of the box.

I initially thought this was a lego set and wasn’t disappointed by the fact that it wasn’t as the quality was on par.
All the pieces were there are bagged together to make the house alongside including barbie character figures.
Nicely laid out with a different rooms in the house such as the kitchen, bedroom and a ‘vloggin’ room. provided a lot of imaginative play as well as the initial construction which entertained my niece for hours.
All the pieces fit together and held great and were easy enough to pull apart if we put the wrong on together. Really reasonable price for currently 20.99. makes a great gift or treat and affordable enough for a pocket money spend!

Calling all girly girl mums out there…. you need this in your life.
In the initial it was a bit of a headache, getting all the bits out and into the right places when the little one wanted to get her hands on it and play, but once it was sorted OMG……. I managed to drink an entire cup of tea and it was hot the whole way through!
The quiet started to get a little suspicious after a while but a quick peek and there was a contented 5 year old still playing quietly!

Takes a bit of patience to build the set up but then imagination should be where the fun comes in. Great having the 2 Barbie characters and the puppy, but I think there should have been a couple more characters which would have expanded the game play and life of the set.

It’s set up very much like lego inside the box is labelled bags and a big clear easy to follow instructions. There is also a tool for pulling the parts out if you want to dismantle or use wrong bit
This took my 7 year olf daughter a hour to build and she then spent a good hour or 2 playing.
You build a house with kitchen,bedroom and garden. The kitchen has cute things like spoons a sink and a cooker with baking tray and cakes
The bedroom as a bed, a lamp and alarm clock. In the bedroom there is also a cloths rail with hangers and spare clothing so you can customize your 2 dolls. There is also the vlogging studio with laptop and camera. There is also a cute puppy.
This set has such lovely detail like the roof and banners and the pillows and duvet also looks comfy.
This is a great set with lots to do and great for imagination and a really reasonable price and you can grow the collection
The garden has a chair and a tree with birds and a bird bath.
Great fun with familiar theme
Perfect gift for any barbie fan. A good price point with a lot going on, looks a feels good quality work the bricks going together easily, the build it’s self doesn’t take long with easy to follow instructions which my 9yr old breezed through, the most enjoyment she got out of it was the play after. Very easy to build and comes with clear instructions. There’s 5 baseplates for the blocks to attach to and the blocks stuck will to it. There’s a few different rooms in the house to play in plus a garden. Great for Barbie lovers. The box is slightly smaller than I imagined but still a good set and would make a lovely gift. This isn’t the proper Lego brand but the quality is still really good and keeps kids entertained for hours. Suitable for ages 5+ but some help will be requited at that age.

I have another set at home from the same brand and this one is another add on to the existing set. The Malibu House set contains more than 300 pieces of building blocks and is suitable for kids 5+. Same as the existing set I had, my comment is the Barbie doesn’t quite like barbie from what’s in my mind. The building instruction is easy to follow and of course, you can change the design by using your creativity. Kids are having fun with it and it’s price is at the right range.
A lovely set to keep kids occupied for a long time
Great lego set with larger pieces than usual for smaller hands, most suitable for ages 3-6. The step by step instructions are easy for kids to follow. My 5 year old spent an hour making the first few pieces and is looking forward to completing the set. Great for cognitive development as well as fine motor skills. Would make a great gift for any child who is a lego and barbie fan.

The pieces are all well made and the instructions are clear. Each piece is sturdy and attaches to others very well and stays locked in place.
This has enough there to keep any little girl entertained for hours over and over again. The accessories mean that there’s enough to keep them coming back for more!

This is a lovely set. Barbie and Lego, what more could a little girl want. My daughter really likes this set and has hours of fun putting it together. Good value for money.
Very pink!
Fair enough, it’s Barbie so of course it’s going to be pink. And more pink. But this is something that little bit different from the usual Barbie doll and clothes, as this is a mini construction set, with all sorts of mini accessories to play around with to create different scenarios. Even the little figures are chunky and solid, no impossibly long limbs and tiny waists here, so good on Barbie for diversifying a bit. And the dog is funny, a nice extra touch.
As this is for an 8 year old, I know it’ll go down a storm but I am a bit worried her 2 year old sister might try to get in on the act. Some of these pieces are very, very small indeed and could pose a choking hazard. The box states very clearly it’s not suitable for under 3s, and in fact suggests it’s for children 5 and up. However, on a practical level, it can be quite challenging to keep the set separate and away from the little one!
The box is cardboard and recyclable, not shrink wrapped, although there are little poly bags inside for the various bits and bobs. Overall it’s a good set, to me a little bit expensive but I tend to think all children’s toys are nowadays!
Lovely set with great little details
I spent a day of the weekend helping my daughters (7 and 5) build this Barbie set. My 7 year old could manage building some parts herself as the step by step instructions are easy to follow. My 5 year old got frustrated, so we sat building it together. As there are different bags of pieces for the different elements/rooms, we were able to assemble the different parts throughout the day. I love the little details like the quirky lamp and the bunting. It looks great when assembled and my daughters have enjoyed playing and creating scenes with the characters. This was a lovely activity the whole family could dip into and help build and this would make a great Christmas or birthday gift.
Barbie’s Grand Desig
Okay, so Barbie is getting in on the whole home build thing before I get my own chance, but I guess I can consider this a practise run for my own home next year. The pieces are bagged and you can choose where to start, following easy instructions in the self-build handbook included in the box. If only the real thing were as simple.
There are figures included and we love the little dog. Note that some of the pieces that you need for the build are incredibly small and there isn’t a bit box of the sort you get with a HufHaus, so take care and supervise the build and maybe up the minimum age if your child has a tendency to put things in their mouth. Even when built, pieces can be removed, so this isn’t suitable for the very young.
I like the kit and it is something that might inspire the next Kevin McCloud, perhaps.

This set was an instant hit with our Barbie loving daughter. Although, for the record, this isn’t Lego. Much the same as Lego sets, the bricks come in numbered bags with a pictorial guidebook on how to build the set. The instructions are step-by-step and easy to follow along. The pieces are tough and durable and likely to last for years.
We had fun putting the set together, though I was only prompting my daughter if she got a bit stuck. She was thrilled with the end product and she had a feeling of accomplishment. I was never a fan of Barbie products as they are simple dolls and do nothing to fuel creativity. However, this set does have more playability to it and whilst limited on what you can build, I am looking to get some additional sets for Christmas so that she can have enough pieces to build her own creations.

To be clear, this is not Lego, though do not assume that this makes it a less then excellent product. It’s Barbie mega blocks, which essentially means Barbie Lego. It’s a beautiful set and will provide hours of fun to young Barbie fans who also love a bit of Lego building. It’s a charming little set, which is easy to construct, comes with clear directions and is just lovely. Reasonably priced too! Recommended for Christmas!
entertains and educational and great for fine motor skills
This is a lovely Barbi toy and I know my great granddaughter will love it. Age range is 5 year
l to 10 year old and I think the 5 year old would need supervision. My great granddaughter is 7 and will love working on her own (when her little sister will let her). She tend to be a good problem solver and will work until she solves it. The set comes with 2 barbie micro dolls, a puppy, 2 birds and lots of building. materials. Building materials and accessories are packaged into 5 bundles and numbered 1 to 5 which covers kitchen, garden bedroom and studio as well as customising Barbie. There are clear step bested pictures guiding your progress and my little one will really enjoy being able to work it out.I think it is educational, entertaining and great for fine motor skills They will be visiting for Christmas so she will have plenty to keep her occupied with the on its own never mind other presents

Got this for my granddaughter, she loves it, the parts are colourful and are good for a child’s coordination. It’s basically like Lego, my granddaughter played with it for a couple hrs the first time she used it. Made from sturdy material
Barbie fun for kids
I assumed Lego had teamed up with Barbie for this one. But looking at the box more carefully I see that it’s simply MEGA Barbie building sets. I did expect it to not be as good as the other brand but surprisingly it was better. The pieces aren’t as small thankfully and are very well designed and coloured. So they’re easier to spot before standing on them. The little Barbie characters were great, they have good definition, features and hair styles. The instructions were very easy to understand and the end product looks fantastic! It’s a great set for a birthday or Christmas gift. And it’s much cheaper than actual Lego too.
I can see this set giving a little girl hours of fun.
Okay, I know that some people have a bit an issue with Barbie as a brand and its ‘girly girly’ style but actually I don’t see any of that in this set really. The two little models in it are not that ‘impossible female figure’ like the classic Barbie and Sindy dolls; they are little chunky figures, more akin to Lego or Playmobil.
And the set is very much a construction set and so very androgynous in that way. Sure there’s ovens and toasters but there’s cameras and laptops and dogs too. I think it’s a great little set.
The pieces come in five separate, numbered bags to help with identification and the instruction booklet is almost an encyclopaedia! It’s quite thick and each page has big, clear instructions on how to construct the various buildings and objects in the set. Obviously, I haven’t put it all together as the set is going to be a gift for my niece, but from the pictures and illustrations the whole thing looks really cute and fun. Lots of opportunity for the construction part and then lots more for role playing with the two little characters and their dog in the house with all its bits and pieces, trees and birds and all the accessories. A huge amount of fun waiting to be enjoyed!
