These are my third pair and absolute love them. They are so light it feels like you’re not wearing anything and can carry them around with you in a backpack or bag so ready to change into for comfortable flights or commutes home. I had these in my backpack on 100 mile trek and changed into them when my hiking shoes started to hurt and cause blisters and they held up – only breaking in last few miles. For the price they were amazing.
I wanted a pair of slip on wet shoes and these appear to fit the bill. I bought smaller than my usual size as intend to wear them swimming in the sea.
They fit snuggly and are doing the job
We recently moved into our new house, which isn’t finished. I wear these as slippers to help with the uncarpeted floors upstairs, they feel like you aren’t wearing anything because the sole is super flexible but it’s hard-wearing enough to stop me from getting splinters from all the reno work. I like that if I have to quickly go outside to the garage I don’t have to faff about switching out of a fluffy pair of slippers into a normal pair of shoes. I’ve also taken them to the beach and they’re great for keeping sand out and washing them after is super quick and easy.
Bought for sea swimming and paddle boarding. I’m a fair weather swimmer, does the job for swimming, hardly noticed I was wearing them. Makes walking on the pebbles much easier too. Yet to stand up in them to paddle board, but the grips seem like they’d be effective.
These shoes were really good to wear and not to slip and are made out of a good material, if it touches water it will dry in about 20min which is good. But the only thing is if you where them barefoot around your house or just to wear them without socks the insole might lift up/ fall but you can always put it back
I’m a UK size 7/7.5 and at first I bought a larger size, but they were far too big, so we ordered the 6/7 instead. I would say they come up slightly larger and there is a bit of stretch in the shoe, so maybe go for a size down than your usual size.
The quality is good, although I found they slipped a little bit when I was walking in the lagoon. My husband bought the lace up version and they seemed to have a different sole and were more grippy.
I’m not sure on the washing instructions, as they didn’t come with anything, but I assume we can put them in the washing machine with our swimwear. I will update the review later if anything happens after we wash them.
Overall, really happy with the shoes, I hope to wear them again in the summer when we go on holiday and swim in the sea.
The lace does nothing, I thought it would be around the ankle and actually allow you to loosen and tighten it.
But it’s actually just on the front of the shoe so I’d say it’s about 90% fashion over function.
I went a size up, was good for swimming but if I was doing a lot of walking in them I’d go for my actual size.
