ook some late night effort and lots of imagination but i did it. Patched a hole bigger than my fist in the sink, with empty space behind.. sure due to the gravity of it, it may not look as if nothing ever happened but at least it saved me from having to buy a new sink.. Probably works better with smaller issues
Appears to be epoxy with white colouring mixed in. Too white even for a new shower tray, the secret is to mix in a bit of ash from a burned incense stick (I used Sataya Dhoop cones). The ash is very fine and has subtle grey and yellow tones which when combined with the paste can be added until you reach your desired colour. Trust me, I restore antique varnishes for a living, I can’t even see the chip repair now.

Dries within 24 hours, had to renew after 2 months but a little goes a long way so I still had some left
My bath is in super bad condition though it might last longer if it’s not that bad

Used this as thought give it a go in the short term and then replace bath.
Comes with all you need, tape, mixer, resin, spreader and even a waste bag.
Bit of prep makes this easy so do the pre work and take time masking to the area needed.
All done in 10 mins, left overnight and went to check in the morning – and took me ages to find the thing. It has blended in so well and thansk to the prep there was minimal overfill on the hole. I decided not to the smooth down after as I really could not see it and challenged the big boss to find it and she could not so i was in the good books – whats not to like!!!
Colour is too white for porcelain sink but fixes the crack perfect so I don’t mind! I did two layers just to be sure and it did a perfect job
I have crack in the sink around 10cm long which spider webbed in pattern. This product arrived the next day, contains clear, easy to follow instructions and was effective. The sink looks much better and the crack isn’t visible as much now – it previously filled with dirty daily making it show loads. Now there is a slight colour difference but otherwise it’s not noticeable
I did use to fill small chips in bath and shower tray and didn’t bother to sand back afterwards. After some time I can now easily see the repair as there is a bit of a colour difference between this and both the bath / shower tray. I think therefore that it is a good idea to ensure you always sand this back once its cured (after about 24 hours).
We had a new bath, our bath chair scraped it and put a nasty dent in it. I applied ample coatings of this (far more than the instructions said to). I think I did 2 coats per day for 3 days, so I probably did 5 or 6 coats in total. Because I did so many coats, the repair is noticeable, but since this was damage to the bottom of the bath, I wanted it to be durable because it would be covered in water. A few months later, it’s still perfect, haven’t had to apply any more coats.
If you follow the instructions and apply only a couple of coats, and use the sandpaper, maybe it’s not noticeable, but I didn’t want to do that because, as I said, I preferred to have it work and wasn’t bothered with the aesthetics.
This kit is great! Simple as that. Easy to use,straight forward instruction and colour match is almost perfect. The wife couldn’t find the repair 😉 o that’s saying something. Mid price range, but so worth not purchasing some cheaper inferior product. Well worth the extra few, and only a few pounds more. Great finish. Very happy.
I used this on some rusted holes in my bath’s enamel; the colour didn’t fully match my bath and the density of the colour didn’t stop the dark of the metal beneath showing through the repair but it looks much better than before treatment and I no longer have to worry about the bath unexpectedly emptying when the hole rusts through !
